Il fascino delle dimore antiche, dove si respira la storia di una casa.

Si dice che le case trasmettono qualcosa, un sentimento, una sensazione, storie. Qualche volta, se si ha fortuna e intuizione, capita anche con le strutture che scegliamo in viaggio. A noi è andata così! Struttura meravigliosa, dove ciò che colpisce è l’attenzione per i dettagli, una cura particolare anche delle piccole cose, quelle che ricerchiamo di solito in una casa. Poi ci sono altri aspetti positivi: la posizione super centrale, e comoda anche per parcheggiare la macchina, la presenza del giardino, la cucina a disposizione, la jacuzzi calda da cui si vede il panorama di Modica. Ogni dettaglio è pensato per rendere il soggiorno più confortevole, dalla morbidezza degli asciugamani, allo spazzolino e dentifricio (che quasi sempre in viaggio si dimentica), al frigobar con le bottiglie di vetro. Tutto l’arredamento d’epoca proviene proprio dalla casa. Anche la colazione, presso il caffè Adamo, il migliore di Modica, e non distante dalla struttura, è un plus, e si può scegliere tra diverse proposte. Tutto questo crea un’atmosfera di autenticità, e regala il sapore di essere davvero, finalmente, a casa.

Hidden gem with beautiful grounds.

Relaxing small-city break.

Extremely clean, friendly staff, beautiful garden. Delicious breakfast. The rooms are very well-lit and the bathroom is spacious. Several power points available.

Très bon séjour .Etablissement de grande classe

L'établissement est assez bien situé dans une cité où l'accès et la circulation sont assez difficiles (la ville est bâtie sur un éperon rocheux et l'on n'arrête pas de monter et de descendre si l'on veut visiter).On accède à un très beau bâtiment par un jardin et la chambre est meublée et équipée avec beaucoup de goût.

Petit bémol:le petit déjeuner n'était pas servi sur place, mais le propriétaire nous a dirigés vers un bar dans lequel nous avons pu bénéficier d'une collation généreuse et personnalisée (sans supplément de frais)

Very nicely decorated rooms, rustic but chic. the outdoor is amazing, with terraces and outdoor Jacuzzi. rooms and communal spaces are well equipped.

Real palace in beautiful Modica

It is the best place I have stayed in Sicily This is real palace. The room is big The hotel design is a mix of old and new. Very beautiful garden

Order the room without breakfast. The hotel does not provide breakfast. You get a voucher for a coffee in one coffee shop about 1K from the hotel.

10000% best stay in Modica! Stunning home, beautiful garden and jacuzzi, and best staff.

This was by far the best stay we had in Sicily. The room was phenomenal (called 'Time') with incredibly comfortable beds and A/C! We underestimated the use for the jacuzzi, as we visited in August (when it was insane hot), however in the evening it cooled off and we were pleasantly surprised with the jacuzzi and beautiful garden space upstairs. Would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Modica! Couldn't be a better location. The staff was also super helpful in allowing us to do some laundry on site.

Misrepresentation

My wife and I made our reservation through Booking.com, this was for a suite with balcony, breakfast included. We arrived for our 3 night stay late afternoon to be met by the owner/manager? who checked us in. We were informed that breakfast was not being offered in the hotel and we were given vouchers for a cafe downtown in Modica ! 1. Two routes to the cafe, 1.5km round trip by road, or 1.4 km using 68 steps down to the main road, and then 68 steps back up on the return journey !. Walking was the only solution with parking being an impossibility 2. At the cafe I was told the voucher had a value of €5, that gave me an orange juice, coffee and croissant - no jam. 3. Through the tourist board office we attempted to contact the hotel, the person who checked us in had disappeared, never to remerge during our entire stay, never anybody at reception. 4. Balcony, yes, but just capable in letting a person stand 5. TV, no International channels 6. An ancient bed that creaked at the slightest movement 7 .Hospitality tray but with no milk provided 8. Usually we would expect a settee or comfortable chair in a suite, we had a table and 4 chairs 9. Terraced garden on several levels, only seating metal chairs 10. Street parking impossible, free parking 450 metres away It is a travesty to call this a luxury hotel Be warned

Superb

The hotel is spectacular, very close to very important tourist attractions. The jacuzzi and garden is wonderful. Also the view of the city from the two terraces are breath taken.

Unforgettable weekend

We got exactly the experience we thought we'd get from looking at the pictures. Huge room with a balcony with wonderful view of Modica. Great amenities, the jacuzzi amazing, and a warm bath with a beautiful view of Modica at night time is definitely a hard one to beat. The accommodation is only a short walk to the main street. Honestly we couldn't have asked for better.

View: there is an amazing view from the garden, and the house is a big old house in very good conditions. the house is a old chic style very nice :) Gifts: there is some drinks for free on the fridge this is a nice detail.

Check in: in case that you arrive out the stipulated check in hours, they will charge you 20 euros, this information Is not on the description. Cleaning: that’s ok, but not really good, our room had a musty smell and the towels were clean but they had a fried smell. As if they had dried next to the kitchen, after taking a shower, i was feeling as fried chicken hahah. Jacuzzi: Is not working on winter because is cold water, this information is not clare neither. Conclusion: Although in general it is a good b&b, in a rapport quality price, it is little expensive.

it was the absolute dream place to stay after our wedding.

The room was unique and made for a special night for our wedding night. We also took our wedding photos in the room and hotel grounds which looked beautiful.

Breakfast was at a bar that was a walk away so we didn't have time to go to it unfortunately due to not having the time.

Incredibly stylish place in the heart of Modica

Very friendly host, place was superb, it has everything one might think of, even a fridge with wines is at your disposal (for moderate price) as well as jacuzzi on the top floor where little garden is situated. Place has a number of outside areas like terraces to relax and rooms are well furnished and equipped!

Nothing, it’s a great place, go without any doubts!

Boutique Hotel in a Pearl of Sicily

Our room was very spacious, clean, and very very nice looking. Position is also great as it as at walking distance from every attraction of Modica, but also close to the way out of the city, and in a street with enough parking possibilities. Breakfast was given at a different location, known as one of the best bakeries in Sicily.

Despite breakfast was really good, the need of walking 10-15 minutes and possibly waiting for a table is not ideal. A pity that with such nice garden there are two hot tubs and no pool with cold water, as in Summer you would be longing for that. Communication has not always been perfect.
