Great communication before arrival. We were met and shown through the property. It is located 1st floor above a restaurant but that was no problem. A large room double bed and couch with access to a balcony with table and 2 chairs. Kitchen is small but adequate and likewise with bathroom. Breakfast was taken in our hosts apartment next door with a wide menu choice. We really appreciated the fact that our host could speak English. She is very widely traveled and loved the breakfast room photos. The apartment has a view up through the old Town and it's worth the walk up there.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Very good

On the main street very close to the old town. Parking is possible in the street. The B&B serves you a (for Italian standards) unusually rich breakfast with local products in the room. The room is spacious with kitchen facilities, Excellent price-quality relationship.

The room towards the street can be a bit noisy

The generous breakfasts, the quiet and comfortable room, the handy location, the beautifull town, the friendly and helpful but unobtrusive host, everything! In my numerous visits to different regions in Italy this was by and far the best bnb Ive stayed in.

Hidden gem in Modica

This place was a small gem, hidden in an ancient city, Modica. The house has stone block-exterior, and spacious veranda. The room was decent, and has a kitchenette. Great value for money! It's located close to the bus station, and to many charming attractions! The best thing about this hotel is the host, Rita. She is super kind. She is eager to introduce valuable attractive spots, which are not well known to tourists. We loved those places. Breakfasts were abundant and delicious. We could also leave our baggage, after check-out, with a peace in mind. Overall, we were very happy at this house.

Excepional accommodation on the main street through Modica.

Building has great character and is immaculately presented. Our host was extremely helpful. Breakfast was good and offered an interesting variety. Good location so long as you expect to walk a bit as Modica stretches a long way.

No problem for us but you have to be able to negotial a stone stairway with your luggage to reach the accommodation. We found a parking space easily but if you were unlucky, you might have to park a little way away.

We will definitely stay there again when we are next in Modica.

Breakfast was brilliant. Rita went out of her way to make sure that we got what we wished and that everything was at its freshest. Parking across the road was very convenient. A couple of excellent restaurants close by, town centre is a short walk away.

Shower room is a bit dated but works very well.

Amazing !!

The structure is amazing ! The location is perfect for visiting the whole town. I chose the room with the "Duomo" view, stunning ! Cleanliness and tranquility are guaranteed. The owner Rita is a very friendly and helpful person, especially for tips on the city. The breakfast is very good, with a nice Sicilian "cannolo". I highly recommend the structure ! I will definitely be back.

great for short stay

Lovely room with kitchenette and small balcony. All this and Rita, the interesting and well traveled host, who prepared a great breakfast. Location was good; it's central but not smack in the center so can get a real taste of Modica life. Also, each room has own entry, which minimizes contact in this awful social distancing times.

The property is located over a pizzeria, so could get loud. Also, we didn't figure this out until our second night, but the little fridge (a very welcome addition), made some weird low hum all night that drove us a bit mad.

Beautiful town, amazing place to stay for a couple of days .... it takes 20 mins to the beach of Marina di Modica

It’s warm and you feel comfortable

No private parking..... but there’s a large public one in about 400m
