The hotel is cozy, pretty charming and next to everything.
The breakfast starts at 8 am (too late for me) and you have to wait too much for your dish to be done. You can’t leave the hotel before 9 am, if you wish to have a nice breakfast.
4.5
Breakfast excellent as is the location

Quirky historic town house. Right in town so minutes walk from everywhere. Breakfasts were great and last you all day, no lunches required. Staff were all great. Parking nearby.
It is in the centre of town so there was some road noise. Narrow stairs so don't bring a huge suitcase. We did. We managed.

Le café au rez-de-chaussée
Les chambres ne sont pas très insonorisées. On entend beaucoup de bruit de l’extérieur.

Perfect central location, cosy room & amazing breakfast included each morning & delicious dinners at the pub downstairs. Would definitely recommend or stay here again!

The hotel was really central to the city centre with parking in the Waitrose car park being only 2 minutes walk away and lots of great restaurants.
The staff were really lovely and a good amount of options for breakfast in the morning.
The free little bottle of Prosecco and no alcohol beer was a really lovely touch.
We arrived early so wanted to drop our bags off. The hotel is closed until 3pm and despite ringing, we had to go into the pub next door (part of the hotel) and wait until the pub customers were served to get a member of staff to take our bags for us - which they put in our room.
If you want a hotel that you can check into earlier, I think this would be really annoying.
I’d also say it’s not the most accessible hotel due to the amount of steep stairs so wouldn’t recommend for anyone with mobility issues.
The breakfast (whilst raved about) was extremely basic and they had no alternative milks - quite surprising considering how many people drink alternative milk now.

Although it was central it was peaceful
Bed was very comfortable
Breakfast and coffee excellent
Nothing to say here

A really lovely boutique hotel with awesome attention to detail. Love that they provided a few free drinks in the mini bar as well as some lovely biscotti and great toiletries. The breakfast was also yummy.
The only down side was the parking situation but that’s a general problem in Bath.

Amazing hotel . Absolutely beautiful decor
My city view was the kitchens ! Not impressed and feel I was over charged !!!

Central location
Very chic and quirky
Staff were very friendly and accommodating
The room itself was beautiful decorated, bit tired looking in places.
Great that the pub next door had live music
The room was bit tired in places and needed a refresh of paint.

Leuke locatie! Gezellige ontbijtruimte, prima menukeuze. Kamers ok. Veel restaurants en winkeltjes in de omgeving. Alle sites op loopafstand.
Losse airco in de kamer, veel lawaai. Warm (buiten was het niet warm dus vreemd.

The decor was very nice and there were cute little details like a pillow must, locally made biscuits and complementary prosecco. The overall vibe was cute boutique.
These are all nice add ons if the fundamentals of a good hotel room are there: a good night's sleep, a nice warm shower and somewhere to put your stuff while exploring the city.
Unfortunately, Broad Street Townhouse failed on all three.
The bed was rock hard and the (rotting!) single glazed windows meant that all the noise from the street kept us up at night.
The towel rail, which was the only source of heating in the bathroom, was out of order. In January this meant the bathroom was really cold (my partner's alarm clock said 12 degrees). On top of that, the window leaked water when it was raining, and so we needed slippers just to go to the toilet. We made staff aware of these issues on the first night, but nothing was done about it and no one addressed it. Lack of storage/shelving in the bathroom also meant we had to out our wash bags on the wet floor. There wasn't even space to put your toothbrush anywhere.
Finally, the room was really crammed and there wasn't enough space on the floor for our small suitcase.
All in all, we were so looking forward to our stay, but were extremely disappointed in the end especially considering the price, and would not recommend staying there at all.

Excellent rooms, well-furnished and cosy. Lots of complimentary food and drink which was very generous. Bathroom was large and spacious, and the breakfast was phenomenal - one of the best full English breakfasts I've had! A very reasonably-priced stay right in the centre of Bath.

our room and bathroom were lovely and had everything you could need. The staff were particularly helpful and the breakfast room is gorgeous. Being a listed building the sash windows are original and had the thickest curtains I’ve ever seen to keep out the cold and noise from the street.
Reasonably priced parking is just around the corner

Fabulous stay, definitely be back.

Proximity to city highlights was good. Breakfast was good.
No prior warning as to high number of windy steps to get up into room w heavy luggage. No front desk to speak of for inquiries or to assist w the many room issues. No heat at all in bathroom. No working television. Loud traffic outside window that woke me up most of the night even w windows closed. Asked for money to be removed from bill and was rudely told to just watch Netflix which I don’t have and no adjustment was made. Price was much higher than other nearby choices

Lovely decor, delicious breakfast
Fridge in room. Milk off! Chandelier needs attention.

Lovely room and excellent staff. Fab breakfast provided. Excellent location.
Room was a little bit small but we managed and all the pros outweighed this
4.0
Room was lovely and very clean.
Breakfast choice and staff were great.
One problem was that the room was very hot which meant we had to sleep with the windows open. Could not turn down the radiators This was slightly problematic as it opened onto busy street below so we were woken early by street noises
The other complaint was that the bed was very firm. My be partner hardly slept due to this.

Very cute/ charming and great breakfast!

I like it had a coffee counter and it was bang in the centre. The beds were super comfortable with soft linen. It was very well decorated and styled.
The shower had a slight issue where it didn’t turn on and off very well and got stuck. Other than that it was great.

Great location and cozy boutique hotel with great breakfast- recommended
Directly on a busy road
3.5
It is so beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were friendly. The location is perfect for restaurants and shopping.
The single glazed windows mixed with many pubs in the area and a busy main road made for a very bad night's sleep. I am a heavy sleeper and even with earplugs in I was woken 4 or 5 times all through the night, my partner who is a light sleeper barely slept at all. Busses, cars, shouting, glass smashing...it was like it was in the room with us it was so loud.

Very nice clean room. Lovely breakfast
Bit noisy with traffic outside but wouldn’t put me off staying again.

Comfortable bed, pretty room. Little extras that made for a great stay.
4.5
Lovely facilities, very high standard room
Lovely breakfast- short staffed in breakfast room and everyone arrived for tables at the same time but the young lady handled everyone with ease and there were no delays considering she had to do everything alone. Complimentary ind bottle of beer and Prosecco, waters. Lovely coffee/ tea and hot choc sachets and fresh milk in fridge
Very comfortable bed
Little noisy at times but centre of town so only to be expected would 100% stay again- only downside- no car park

A lovely friendly clean hotel right in town … gorgeous decor… loved the Roberts radio with classic fm on when you enter the room created such a lovely atmosphere playing Christmas songs ..also great breakfast !!
Maybe a shelf in the bathroom needed fixing as no where to pop your toothbrushes… the sink was cracked too .. just an observation

Excellent location
Very cold

The atmosphere and decor of the property really stood out.
Simple maintenance upkeep could be better. Shower handle and tap was loose in the room and the wood was stripping in bathroom due to the steam of the shower.
Didn’t impact the enjoyment of the stay.

Getting my steps in 49 ! To get to my bedroom

Loved the place, people, decor and food. Really exceptionally good breakfast and lovely staff.
The room was strangely VERY hot and it had an ineffective fan. The bedside lights are stylish anglepoise but sadly didn't position, they were just floppy. This was room 4 which was also noisy with pub barrels very early in the morning.

design, friendly, the small touches were above expectations.
great breakfast, great value and location.
our bedroom was small, we had to climb over each other to get to the far side of the room.
suffering with back issues so was not easy.

I was a bit cold. Would of been nice to have an extra blankets

We were so thrilled with our decision to stay at Broad Street Townhouse. What a perfect place, beautiful interior styling, really gorgeous room, so cosy and comfortable, bed was super comfy; all up the perfect ambience respecting the history of the architecture. The staff were so friendly and accommodating; storing our bags for us so we could explore Bath. That was so important to us given we were travelling between destinations via public transport. Breakfast was delicious in the charming cafe downstairs. We enjoyed one of our favourite meals whilst in England at The Pig and Fiddle. The Broad Street Townhouse will be a memorable favourite from our trip to England.
There was really nothing not to like except that I wish we had more time to stay longer. I could have happily spent 3 days enjoying Bath and The Broad Street Townhouse would be my pick for accommodation.
3.5
Very helpful staff most of the time. Closed up at night, so had to go to pub next door which was noisy. Over all if was a good stay. So many stairs, but it could have been worse. Quiet.
stairs and bathroom door that would not stay open. It was built like a fire door.
4.5
Really lovely building and interiors very well thought out and styled. Great to have the coffee shop and pub downstairs. The room was compact but comfortable and everything needed and more, was available and of very good quality
It’s an old building so no lift .. the stairs might not be great for some people.
I’m not sure if any bedrooms were available at the back of the property but it was quite noisy in the front section in the morning .. the road wasn’t busy but it was a bus route and usual delivery/bin lorries etc not much can be done about that tho.
It was very warm on the second floor but 2 free standing fans were provided.

Friendly staff. Good food in the restaurant. Delicious breakfast in a nicely styled tearoom-setting. Nicely styled room. We had a very pleasant stay! (There's no parking on location, but a public underground parking is available at the end of the street, just a 2 minute walk. The Roman Baths are closeby as well, reachable on foot. )
Nothing.

Gorgeous breakfast and perfect location
The room was a bit hot and noisy with the traffic
