Very private, even though located among several mountain properties. Well stocked kitchen, the beds were comfortable, and the place is furnished nicely. We enjoyed staying here very much.

We had such a great time staying in this cabin. It’s so cute and cozy, the furniture and bed were comfortable and it was great that every room had a box fan since we stayed during July. The neighbors were friendly, there are dogs in the neighborhood but we didn’t have any issues with them. We also brought our dog and she enjoyed the stay as well. The scenery is beautiful, with being at the base of Pikes Peak and I liked that the entrance to Pikes Peak wasn’t too far away. Plus there’s a town nearby with a Walmart and some coffee shops and eating places so the house is conveniently located. And Colorado Spings is only a short drive. We loved being in Colorado and I would love to come stay at Starry Nights again!

This property was fantastic for our family of six! We really enjoyed our stay there, they had lots of things available to use that made staying there much more comfortable as far as items in the kitchen (condiments spices, napkins) and toiletries, things we normally have to take with us to rentals. The house was well kept and everything worked as it should. Lots of games for us to play. Beautiful area, very close to Pike’s Peak, hiking trails, and Manitou Springs! Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect place to stay for a family reunion. Was a massive plus for my dad who was in the extra cabin in the back. Our two young boys loved it.

Everything about this cabin is meticulously maintained. Location is perfect for exploring the area and just a few minutes from “town.” Hosts are very responsive, professional, and accommodating. It’s our second time at Starry Nights and often we’ve seen details become neglected over time with short-term rentals, but definitely NOT the case here. I look forward to coming back to “our” mountain cabin again next year for the Pike’s Peak Hill Climb if they’ll have us.

This cabin was just as listed. It was easy to book and the property manager was quick to respond to any questions. Would definitely recommend staying here and will be coming back here on future trips.

Place looked like it would be a simple, low-key lodging choice for a bachelor hiking retreat to the mountains. The photos of the interior gave the impression that it was well-kept and economical albeit with small bedrooms. However, when I arrived at the cabin, it wasn’t as new as the pictures taken in the Evolve listing. The rooms were really cramped too as all the ceilings are of bizarrely low height outside the main common area. The main drawback was there was noting to do out there and you had to drive about 10 miles back to town either northwest or southeast of the valley to get supplies. I ended up staying only one night of the three I had reserved before returning to the Victorian vacation home I was staying at in Manitou Springs. The yard there is not big either, and the neighbor behind the cabin had a large dog that was always outside barking at people.

Our family had a great stay in this adorable cabin. The atmosphere was perfect and it was conveniently located. The surrounding scenery was breathtaking. The cabin was stocked with necessary amenities and had a rustic feel. We would highly recommend this property to anyone. Also, it was very easy to communicate with the property manager. She was very helpful and the check in and out process was very simple.

Overall great stay. The only issues we had were staying warm, due to how the property is heated, and the neighbors across from the cabin always blocked the street with their car. So it was hard to get out of the driveway. Owners of the property are amazing, and communicate well.

We visited this property to have a very private elopement and it was a wonderful choice. The views were beautiful and in walking distance from more beauty. My only slight complaint is that the neighbors very friendly dog ran loose every night which was sometimes distracting during my dog’s nightly walks. The cabin itself was great and stayed warm during the coldest days! Thanks for the lovely stay!

No pictures were shown of the drive way. It was very hard to drive up in the rain and my car was slipping. Older home but super cute.

This property was perfect for our family - one teenage daughter and our grown daughter and her partner. We each had our own private space and the cabin was well equipped, comfortable, and homey. We were in close proximity to Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs, and Garden of the Gods. Nearby Woodland Park was very accessible and had some great shopping choices. The trails that connect to the back of this neighborhood were worth the trek up the steep hills.

We had a wonderful time at this cabin! We were very comfortable and the location was so great to be able to access Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs and Woodland Park. The kitchen seemed to be upgraded and was really beautiful! No AC but the fans were helpful and once we opened the windows for a while, it cooled off plenty! If you get hot easily, bring an extra box fan!

Mountain cabin
Good location, nice privacy. Cabin had slight disrepair, unable to use main bathroom sink due to leak in pipe, door frame of Master was coming off. Nice neighbors.

Great Stay
We really enjoyed our stay. Location was exactly what we were looking for, the property is great. The only issues we had were that there seemed to be dirt in the bed in the small cabin and that for some reason we couldn't unlock the wood shed to properly throw away our garbage (this could be my fault though). Overall I would definitely rent again. BTW if you are in the area, check out Black Bear Distillery just a short trip down the road. Amazing whiskey and the Master Distiller is a great guy.

Both if our birthdays.
This is such a peaceful cabin and so cute inside. I loved watching the sunset and listening to the wind through the trees and mountains. Stars were so bright. We hiked and saw lots of sights. I would highly recommend.

Awesome Visit
The property was awesome and in a great area. We had a great time. There were Deer around everywhere and we even saw a bobcat. We didn’t realize by the listing that the 3rd bedroom was a separate building but it worked out well for our teen son. The house was very nice but short, we did a lot of ducking. Our overall experience was great.

Convenience
Very convenient to all we wanted to see in the area. Staff very helpful on a couple of things I had to enquire about. Beds were great and all the items in cabin were ample. Nice and quiet except for bears nightly trying to raid garbage cans. We would stay again.

Starry Nights?
Overall a very good place to stay. However I do think that a more accurate description of the surroundings of the cabin is in order. Starry Nights is not by any means remote, therefore seeing stars is a bit tough. The homes around this cabin are not very well kept. I know that can't be helped by the cabin owner, however it is disappointing to arrive at a place you thought based on the available photographs was affording you more privacy from neighbors. And then those neighbors don't present a well kept area.

Great home!
Awesome property! They had everything we needed and more. The only thing that I would’ve changed were the mattresses. They were pretty worn out. Other than that it was fabulous!

Great place for a relaxing vacation!
On planning our 2017 vacation, we realised that we had omitted to write our intended review of this property we stayed in, last October.
We went mid October. The weather was just fabulous and all we needed was an extra sweatshirt when going out.
Starry Nights, our cabins, were very nice and had all the amenities needed for a stay. So much better than the confines of a hotel room!
We certainly appreciated the spices and condiments available in the kitchen. That was a nice touch and saved us from having to buy them.
The second cabin was a great place for a couple of friends, who joined us. We all had a great time together, but had the privacy of our own sleeping accommodations.
Each afternoon, we were joined by deer who came surprisingly close. We also saw a fox one evening. A wonderful place for photography!
Although there were other cabins around, we did not feel cramped at all. it was very peaceful.
A concern we had, when deciding to book, was that it was going to be too secluded as it was off a main road. Our concern quickly vanished when we arrived.
The only problem we had, whilst there, was the security light stopped working, making it quite dark between the cabins at night. On phoning the management, they came out straight away and fixed it. The manager was really helpful and friendly.
If you stay here, don't forget to eat at the Mucky Duck, incredible wood decor and a nice meal!

Beware! Pictures are misleading
Don't believe everything you see! They've done a great job taking the pictures from just the right angles. The cabins are very close together. There's no privacy at all. The next lot is so close their vehicles are no more than 20 feet from the front porch. It's like a car lot. It wasn't inviting to sit out or use the yard.
The lot is dark. You need a flashlight to get to the second cabin. Once there, it is a great place for extended family.
In the main cabin, beware the sloping ceilings. The one in the second bath is so low a 6' man will hit his head trying to visit the toilet or use the laundry.
The landline phone is hidden behind the tv. We searched assuming one didn't exist. Finally had to contact the management company to find it's location.
The pictures make you think the kitchen is new and wonderful. It's not. It's old and grungy. The dishwasher doesn't work. I wouldn't have rented knowing we'd be washing dishes on vacation.
The location was good for seeing the sights and attractions. It was quiet and the sheets were soft.
Oh, and watch out for the price. It says one thing but ends up being something else. Lots of hidden fees and for some reason it keeps changing.
2.0 / 10.0
The photos don't reflect the experience!
The experience in Starry Nights was disappointing. Not worth the price. The cabins have potential but lots of things need fixing and cleaning. Sheets smelled musty, closets were stuffed full of things, refrigerator had food left from previous renters, closet doors didn't shut, room heaters didn't work (knobs to adjust the heat fell off of heaters) and it just didn't reflect the photos and description. It was super disappointing for our out of town guests. They had to wash the bedding before they slept in the beds. I would not recommend this holiday rental.
