The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped. On arrival there was a wonderful welcome basket, full of lovely treats. Our host had specially made gf scones for my husband! There is a stinking view from the back of the stable over fields and down to the sea. So relaxing in the evening just to sit and stare.

The owners, location and facilities were perfect!
Everything catered for and the owners couldn't do enough for you. Extra touches like stocked cupboards, welcome hamper and anniversary balloons and champagne were absolutely brilliant. Thank you so much, we will be back.

All the little friendly bits, freshly made cake fresh eggs, everything you may need to be home from home.
Quiet location. Meet and greet and help with luggage.
Nothing not to like. Everything was perfect.

This is a real gem. The owners have gone above and beyond to provide an exceptionally comfortable and charming cottage, and provided everything needed for the guests. The welcome pack of goodies was very thoughtful combining essentials with some tasty treats. The location is excellent, with great views of the sea, countryside walks on the doorstep, yet close to Brighton.
Access to the property is via a bumpy unadopted road that can be flooded.

Fantastic location with great views, the owners were fantastic went above and beyond with Easter decorations and even birthday banners and flowers for my partner. Can't wait to go back there again.

Very comfortable and peaceful, beautiful surroundings. Didnt avail ourselves of clearly good walks, as very low temperatures stopped us from doing so.
Liked the way the property was decorated for Christmas.
Welcome pack was very appreciated and the rest of the property was very well stocked with everything we needed.
Approach road was not good but managed because we were driving an SUV.
Bedroom exceptionally cold the first night as the heating hadn't been turned on and it took a long while to heat up. However, it was only that first night - rest of the time was very cosy.

The location was perfect for us, coming from a major city. Rural with sea views and fields all around, gave us the quietness we needed. The cottage was just perfect, along with the sheep as neighbours! Wouldn't hesitate in booking again.
The approach road (which is out of their control) is very bumpy so visitors need to drive carefully.
It would also be better if there was some form of path from the main house to the cottage rather than walking on the garden which can get very wet.
A canopy over the front door would be appreciated for smokers to keep dry.

Caroline and Paul met us outside the property as soon as we arrived and even helped carry the bags.

Stunning location with easy access to walls on the downs or to Brighton. Very clean and comfortably furnished. Lovely Welcome basket. Friendly helpful hosts.
Be aware access is down an unadopted road.

The fact that they'd gone to the trouble of having loads of information to hand about local shops, buses pharmacies and how to use kitchen/household equipment.
And of course the welcoming gifts.
Nothing, couldn't fault anything (Ok, maybe the fact we weren't there longer, lol)

Everything, super friendly & helpful hosts, our welcome basket was amazing and the extra gifts give in the week were such a surprise. The place is clean, comfortable & so well equipped, with kitchen utensils & bathroom toiletries. Our hosts told us about the buses, which run so frequently to Brighton & Saltdean, the nearest beach for swimming, which is the best way to reach both destinations. We loved our week's stay & will return at somepoint 😍

We had an amazing 2 night stay over Valentines weekend. Caroline and Paul made us feel very welcome and went the extra mile to make it a very special Valentines for us. Where do I start, scones with clotted cream and jam went down a treat. A hamper and fridge filled with loads of goodies ( to many to mention) and a bottle of prosecco in the fridge to top it off. Would definetly book again the next time we come down to this beautiful part of England.
No dislikes, was perfect for us.

We went to this place to celebrate our first New Year in England and I couldn't wish for a better experience. The whole house was lovely decorated with Christmas lights, and our hosts even left a bottle of champagne for us! Not to mention a generous welcome food basket. Paul also met us in Telscombe Cliffs and gave us a ride to Brighton at the end of our stay.
The house is very comfortable and cosy, the kitchen is fully equipped for any need, all facilities work perfectly as well as WIFI. You will have your breakfast in a spacious glassed terrace with stunning views! Tesco is just 8 min walk from the house.

The hosts met us on arrival and showed us to the property. The cottage is superb! Finished to a very high standard throughout. Wonderful hamper including a cream tea, milk, wine, butter, fruit juice and filtered water in the fridge. The conservatory is a definate bonus providing wonderful sea and countryside views where you can watch the world go by (or the sheep) regardless of the weather. The bed (as a double) is very large and comfortable. The soft furnishings are numerous and of high quality.
Being really picky now! Parking nearer the property would be good, although not sure how you would achieve this without disturbing the owners garden. Perhaps asome stepping stones from the cottage to the parking area would be good if only to stop your feet getting wet on a dewy morning.
You will encounter a rather bumpy ride along a gravel road, nothing to do with the owners but worth a mention as you will need to take your time along this road but what awaits you at the end is worth it!

A beautiful location and a beautiful cottage. Very well presented and with wonderful views. Paul and Caroline were perfect hosts and had thought of everything that we might need.

Everything. It is completely well catered for and there isn't anything that I couldn't find to use for cooking etc.
From the moment we arrived we were met by the host and nothing was too much trouble.
Both of the hosts were lovely and very friendly.
The area is wonderful and some lovely walks from the house. You will see so much wildlife as well as the sheep etc.
The bed is extremely comfortable and we had a lovely relaxing stay.
So many good walks
There wasn't anything we didn't like at all apart from the weather. It would have been nicer if a little warmer. But saying that, t was ideal for all the walking we did.
