It’s a lovely cosy stay with all the things you need. The mezzanine bed adds a little bit of extra charm but you have the option of sleeping on terra firma on the sofa bed. Good hot shower with room to move around. Tea,coffee, muesli and milk for breakfast. Parking was right outside. Abi was very helpful with everything.
Nothing.

The location was perfect for us as we had a wedding to attend at Pelham House.
The Wifi did keep dipping in and out.

Warm and cosy, had everything I needed for my stay. The hosts were happy to help with advice on where to eat etc. The location is great as an easy walk to the town centre. All just what I needed. Great that there was parking on site.
Shower was very low in pressure and the water wasn’t especially hot but I do understand that this is often due to local water pressures and difficult to sort.

Lovely cottage for a short, peaceful getaway. It's ideally situated a few minutes away from the high street, is very clean and well equipped with all necessities. Check in was straightforward and the parking space was definitely appreciated!
As we were looking for a very quiet night away, we were disappointed to be woken up at 7am due to construction work happening in the neighbouring house. As the bed's raised level faces the neighbour's patio directly, the noise/voices were so loud that we woke up thinking someone must have walked right into the cottage! Imagine part of the reason for this was that we were there on a weekday.

Very pleasant location. Near to the cinema and railway station. Tidy and clean. Family close by if needed.
Directions could be tweaked a bit as the street changes from a road into a track road which is not obvious if you haven’t been there before. Google maps are not always helpful.

There was tea and coffee and some cereal but you will need to find/bring your own. Not a big deal, Maybe a small pack of milk would have been good.
I got there a bit late so missed some of the meesages sent to me. Maybe more obvious instructions would have helped for the TV and cooker.

The property is perfectly located for access to the centre of Lewes and the music festival at the rugby club. The property is small but perfectly designed for all your needs.

Excellent use of space, well resourced, very nice location, with lots of nice birdsong on the lane. Ed and Abi were very nice and helped us with our abundance of wedding flowers!

Very clean, well equipped and great location. Helpful hosts
Needed to move furniture around to be able to have ladder in place whilst sofa bed out.

Everything, it was a little home from home with all the amenities you could ask for 🥰
Nothing, we loved everything about it 🥰

Location was excellent for walking into Lewes .
The sofa bed was complicated to put up.

The cottage is very well appointed and immaculately clean and the hosts very friendly BUT you need to tell people that the 'separate' bedroom is a tiny loft area which is only accessed by a ladder. You could not stand up in there, it does not qualify as a bedroom, perhaps a small sleeping area (access by ladder) would have been a more appropriate description. I feel the description of this property was misleading. Sorry.

The location was great, close to the high street and train station. And the hosts very welcoming with advice and tips about the area
It is tiny. We knew it would be but it does feel very cramped inside. The double bed up the ladder is very warm and the sofa bed not that comfy. It was OK for a one night stay

The cottage was very well appointed, there was a lot tucked in a small space. The outside space was a lovely bonus, location and car parking an absolute dream
The access to the bed was not via stairs but rather a very steep ladder. Fine if you are a young person with no dear of heights but we are not and I am. The alternative sofa bed was very uncomfortable. A bed in a box (so a lift away bed) might have been a better solution and with a little more careful planning I think could have worked.

TINY COTTAGE IS THE RIGHT DESCRIPTION. ECCENTRICITY TOO. WHAT A NICE PLACE!
VERY WELL EQUIPPED.
CHARMING HOSTS.
GOOD OUTSIDE TABLE FOR MEALS
SEE THE PICTURES OF THE SLEEPING AREA - THEY DO NOT LIE AND YES THERE REALLY IS A LADDER TO CLIMB TO GO TO BED. FUN PLACE. ENOUGH FRESH AIR.

We arrived late and were hungry, but the owners were very helpful in booking a restaurant nearby!
There is nothing wrong with it.

Everything we needed was there...the owners were very friendly and available if we needed them. Very quaint and compact, ideal especially for a couple...we didn't make the mezzanine level though!! Too high for us!! ( over 60s) would be great for teenagers or a young couple though. Lovely little garden area. Quiet road no noise at all. Near to pubs, shops etc.
The first impressions...it looked like a garage 😳 We drove past as the sign was small.

Great location, really cute property
The bed is accessed by a ladder and you have to crawl on to it (it's a mezanine shelf without head room). It's very comfortable once there but would be impossible for anyone with at all limited mobility. I know my parents who are mid 70s and not disabled would have found it very difficult

Very well designed and central for town centre. Lovely hosts.
Parking felt tricky until I got user to it.

Location is great but it could be a bit tricky to find when dark.
Cottage is perfect for a couple. In our case (a family of 4) was perhaps a bit small. You have to set up the table to eat and then dismantle it again to set up the sofa bed.

Very clean, spotless.Nice shower room with soap and shower gel .
The cottage is next door to the owners. Compact kitchen with nice crockery and cutlery, wash up liquid ,scourers and dishcloths .
Outdoor terrace , with table and benches .we sat outside and had our breakfast outside , very private and secure. . Clean bed linen, plenty of pillows and lovely warm duvets.
We were given a jug of milk on arrival. We asked for more milk and Ed very kindly gave us a large jug of milk . Thank you very much for that. There were some tea bags, instant coffee and ground coffee provided and a nice caffetiere.
Ed came over and personally greeted us.
It would have been helpful if Ed had shown us how to set up the sofa bed . The video was not helpful.
The metal tea pot was old with thick stain. A new tea pot would be great ( not metal).

The location was excellent. It was close to all the nearby shops, cafes and the wedding venue we attended. The cottage was comfortable, clean and in a nice quiet location.

This VERY small property, the clue is in the name, is SMALLER than I expected. I think it is ideal for 2 adults, and maybe 2 adults plus small children, but TOO small for 4 adults. It is SUPERBLY designed to maximise the use of every square inch/cm. It is FULLY equipped & everything works. So good that I worked hard to find this one fault. The hot water-cold water conventions VARY between Kitchen and bathroom tap. An older couple MUST use the convertible DIVAN bed to sleep on, as it is quite difficult to climb into & out of the bed on the mezzanine floor. There is pleasant patio but the sun doesn't get to it before c 9 am in summer and it goes behind the trees by 7 in the evening.
Size, but it is what it is..a converted SINGLE garage.

The location in Lewes was perfect. A quiet tree-lined lane with parking off road. The property guide was comprehensive and details of how to use the sofa bed were useful. (I am of a certain age and used this in preference to the bed on the mezzanine which is only accessible via a ladder) The kitchen facilities were excellent and, even though I only needed to have breakfast here as I was going to Glyndebourne for the evening, there was real and instant coffee, tea, sugar, muesli and an array of oil and seasonings. The shower room was excellent and the whole property immaculately clean. A bonus was the picnic table and seating outside where I had my breakfast to the sound of birdsong (Song Thrush)
Since I used the sofa bed, inside seating ( fold away with a fold away table) was limited. Fine in the summer as you can use the outside picnic table and seating but in colder weather you would need to fold away the sofa bed.
