Comfortable rooms, excellent dinner. We arrived in very bad weather, for our comfort we were offered better accommodation for the same price.

The manager, Kai, went out of his way to make us comfortable under very difficult conditions. Read the worst sandstorm in many years. Thanks Kai!

It was a nice place to stay, with a gorgeous sunset up the rocks. The staff was very nice and friendly. We had a nice dinner and also had time to enjoy the pool.
Nothing to mention except a little bit noisy refrigerator.

We received a complimentary upgrade to Namib Naukluft Lodge. It was wonderful. The rooms are super, the view from the terrace very nice. There is a small hiking trail up a rock where you can watch the sunset very nicely. The dinner is incredibly delicious, definitely try it. Very friendly staff and owner. Top recommendation.

The upgrade to the lodge was very nice. The place is a paradise on earth, especially for the sunset by the swimming pool 🙏🏿.
The dinner was also great, seating outside reconnecting with the nature.
The staffs are too polite to the point I asked them to stop. It was too much. They are well trained, above the standard. You wouldn't get a such service in the 5+ * hotels.
Also in the morning they packed my breakfast which became my lunch after the day climbing the dunes.
I rarely give 10 for a hotel/ accommodation but this one I feel deserves 11.
I would definitely stay here next time I need to relax and get away from everything. There is a 5K track for those who love to run/jog/ walk, that helped me to restore my system after a day of driving 😊
Everything was perfect.

We have been upgraded to stay at Namib Naukluft Lodge. Erikson was super kind and showed us around. The dinner was exceptionally good - you would expect such great food at posh restaurants and not in the midst of the desert. The brothers owning the place are also very helpful and nice.

On arrival was immediately given an upgrade to the main lodge rather than the tented camp, where there was a pool and a great open air terrace to dine on and take a sundowner. Amazing scenery looking out across the plains. Wildlife walking past, including oryx. Perfect, unobstructed sunsets. Great food, exceptional quality, restaurant standard. We wanted an early start one day to drive somewhere ahead of sunrise and received a brilliant packed breakfast to take away simply by asking for it. Great base to drive to Sossuvlei. Had a minor issue and the manager, Kai, stepped up quickly to sort it out. Could not fault the place and would definitely 100% stay there again.
The bar wasn't well stocked, with limited options, but this was the norm in the rural areas so wasn't a problem.

Beautiful place in the middle of nature. The view from the room was stunning. You could literally see up to the horizon. Meerkats came visiting the balcony quite frequently. Also the dinner and breakfast were excellent. We would love to come back!

Words cannot describe just how beautiful the location of and the property is. The heart of the owners and their team lies in conservation . They are so knowledgeable about the animals and their habits. Nothing was too much trouble and we were even helped with our next accommodation. Finally the food was exceptional . If the universe permits we will return and stay much longer than three nights.

wow what a spot. great rooms with fantastic views across the plains…..but that was the lodge we never got to the camp so not sure it’s fair to comment
signage missing.

our stay was one of these exceptional stays that you’ll remember the rest of your life. the extreme beauty of the surroundings and the back to nature feeling, but with all the amenities you need makes it one of a kind. the owner and staff were extremely friendly and did all they could to make us (and our 14 month old son) feel like home. you’ll notice it is family owned and part of a conservation area. this makes it stand out compared to larger corporate type of lodges in the area. highly recommended and will definitely come back.
if we really have to mention one thing it would be the slightly outdated interior of the apartments (which didn’t bother us at all)

A gem in the Namib desert! Friendly and helpful staff warmly welcomed us and were very attentive to our needs. Nothing was too much trouble for our host Jannie, and we were upgraded to the Lodge at no extra charge [with the benefit of an aircon which was welcome in the hot conditions]. Absolute peace, quiet and solitude, with only the brilliantly shining stars for company at night! Wonderful sunset drive to Marble mountain with Werner who was very informative and assisted us with many game viewings [including an Aardwolf] Highly recommended, and would love to spend a week there on our next visit to Namibia
Would have loved to stay longer to really appreciate the beautiful stillness!

We were upgraded to the Namib Naukuft Lodge - Breathtaking location in the middle of the desert, truly peaceful and the stars at night are incredible. The staff is genuinely kind and the bbq dinner under the stars was lovely, a great experience.

Everything was great!!
The house, the owner, the food, the view, the service; everything was above expectancy.
A great thing to hear and see, was that the owner loved the environment. He is doing his best to combine the lodge with the surroundings and has good awareness of the environment around him.

The site is family run and the family was very welcoming. I was lucky to be upgraded to the lodge which has a beautiful setting with great rooms and a pool overlooking the desert. The host provided a router for good wifi access and the room was well equipped. In the restaurant the oryx steak was very good and the bar characterful. I also had the opportunity to see the snakes they temporarily keep to educate guests.
Driving to the site with a 2WD car is a bit tricky but doable with care. No other negatives

Outstanding location, unbelievable sunsets. Extremely attuned and sharp manger (Kai) gave us super advice on drive down from Windhoek of how to best experience the view of this beautiful region and outstanding advice for the following day's excursion to Sossuvlei, and Canyon at Sesriem. Breakfast was excellent and dinner was of the highest standard, quality and ambiance. We wish we could have stayed longer and sincerely recommend this lodge to first time or repeat travelers to this stunning area of Namibia.
