Family who own the property extremely friendly, greeted us with a big plate of home made cookies. The children absolutely loved looking around the farm, especially seeing the piglets and lambs. The property was very roomy, with everything you would need home from home. Very comfy beds. Beautiful setting, lots of facilities close by including a big Coop. We will be booking again.
Nothing.

A warm welcome and homemade muffins on arrival. Han made wonderful sausages and jellies as well. Nice and remarkably quiet.

it was so much fun being on the farm with the dogs, cat, pigs, sheep, lambs and cows. so refreshing to get away and be in the country.
all was fabulous

This is a working farm and a little lamb was just born when we arrived, we went to see it straight as we arrived and it was very moving.
Han was very friendly and nice, provided us with addresses for several pubs and restaurants as it was my son's birthday and we wanted to celebrate. The pub we went to on her advice was really a great choice.
The Easter decoration in the house and cakes, eggs and wine were the cherry on top of the cake
There was a problem with the dishwasher but Han is aware of it and will fix this.
I loved having sheeps, dogs, cat, pigs and cows around but this may not be to everyone's liking.

Quiet location. Easy parking. Very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Very comfy beds. Friendly host. Welcome wine & biscuits! :) Bonus supplies of daily essentials which, although we didn't need, was a really nice touch. Farm supplies available for sale which were great. Beautiful area and easy access to shops, restaurants and places of interest.

it was clean, neat and well equipped.
we struggled to store food in the kitchen except for in the fridge and freezer as every cupboard contained dishes and utensils. this wouldn’t be an issue for shorter stays, only for those who intend to self cater for a longer stay of a week or more.

Lovely big house and hosts, close to where we wanted to go
2 single beds a bit uncomfortable

The space , being on a farm was a great experience and the cottage was extremely well equipped.
The beds and sofas were saggy and a lot of the doors did not close easily which disturbed people during the night.

I was unfortunately unable to stay owing to a Covid infection, but I've reported the views of the guests in my party who were able to stay:
Very nice, and lovely lambs or various ages, some quite new, and 20 piglets.
The reason I said it was good (rather than excellent) is that none of the upstairs doors (including bathroom and loo) would shut, let alone lock.

I loved absolutely everything! Han, the host, she's adorable and she was always available to attend to any requirement or inquiry. The cottage is fantastic, especially for family vacations and it was lovely when we arrived to have found some gifts like cookies, fresh eggs and a wine bottle.
In conclusion, I totally recommend this accommodation to any who wants to visit the Cotswolds and its surrounding areas.
Nothing, everything was perfect.

We had a fantastic stay and the children loved it. Can't wait to return.

A lovely family run large working farm with many animals and everything we wanted for a great few days.
There is not anything which I found to be negative.

Great space for self catering and t=relaxing with friends. The Christmas tree and garland over the mantle shelf made it very festive The welcome gifts were wonderful.
Doors upstairs are a bit tricky as its an old property.

Everything, the accomodation was perfect (cookies on arrival 😋😋) for a family of 5. Han and family were great the kids got to see the animals on the farm and were explained all about them, nothing was too much trouble and the jam they produce wow😜. We would recommend this family run accomodation to anyone it is great value for money and in an ideal location, we seen bath corsham and a day out to longleat (main reason for stay)
Nothing.

The Horse Barn is a lovely place to stay in a great location for seeing the beautiful local villages of Lacock and Castle Combe and not far from Bath. On a working farm but very peaceful and has everything you need. Enjoyed the welcome gift of wine and cookies. Easy to park too.

Spacious, quiet, good location. Private outside area, everything you needed, complimentary wine and cookies, home made items to purchase, friendly hosts.
Milk on arrival would be nice although shop very local. Daughter found single bed mattress a little soft but this is personal preference.

We booked our stay at the property to visit family nearby, unable to get away without three 18 - 22 year olds we found the house to have ample accommodation. Being on a working farm and the hosts were there to help with any requests, day or night ( not that we had any) The house was clean and tidy with everything provided. The bottle of wine and freshly baked cakes and fresh flowers were a lovely welcoming touch.

Space, location, friendly hosts, very clean and well equipped.
Hot in the bedroom- because of the boiler/ airing cupboard and no downstairs toilet. Shower very slow to drain.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Horse Barn - the cottage was even lovelier than we imagined. Han had kindly decorated with a Christmas tree and it was so cosy and welcoming. The rooms were all very spacious, the beds comfy and the shower powerful. The kitchen was well-stocked, crockery and utensil-wise - I cooked a full Christmas dinner with no problems. It's a perfect, peaceful getaway but within easy reach of many beautiful Wiltshire towns.
Nothing - it was perfect
