Brilliant position, large well equipped room, very friendly and helpful staff
A tiny bit grubby inside the kitchen cupboards
7.0
Clean, well located, pleasant staff.
Limited parking, noisy (Sounds from other rooms (TV, Radio, Conversations) carried through thin walks. Parking was scattered and a hit and miss if you would get a spot.

Locations was good! staff was lovely 🥰
The machinery noise kept us awake throughout the night and there was no solution for it.
The tap water tastes like chemicals and they charged the spring water.

The apartment is perfectly situated to take full advantage of the fabulous harbour views. The central location means it’s a very easy walk to a myriad of shops, weekend markets, restaurants, cafes, bars, sights, and entertainment. The property is clean, comfortable, and well appointed, but it’s the friendly and helpful reception staff that make Somerset a standout. We’ll definitely be back.
Parking was stressful - there aren’t enough car parks for guests.

View, clean, well equipped, in very good condition, short walk to bars and restaurants as well as city centre. Friendly reception staff.

Location on the Pier! Very comfy king-size bed!
The parking situation 😩 we were too afraid to explore anywhere by car for fear of not having a parking space when we returned!
9.0
Location was amazing and the view of Salamanca and mountain was beautiful.
Parking is an issue even though they give you a pass to park in the limited spots out the front or about 500m away.

The location was great.
Room not so good....seems to be a trend with booking.com rooms. worst rooms in the place.
Bed doona was warm.
Parking was not good experience as there were no car spots.Explanation not clear.
The room had an odour which hotel knew about as all fans were going full blast.
Heating did not work so a tiny heater was in the room instead.
Bed doona made up for it though.

Location to a function we were attending
Not having the bathroom on the same level as the bedroom.

Room very comfortable, great view and location
Nothing I can think of

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic close to everything.
The bathrooms were outdated and need refurbing. Showering in a bathtub when you have issues with your knees getting in and out is difficult and the fact that the tub is really narrow. The bathrooms haven't changed since we last stayed 19 years ago. There was also a thick layer of black mould around the window which I tried to clean as best I could. Black mould is not good to have in a living environment when immunocompromised.

Liked everything

Location, view and design of 4 person apartment
Sound proofing could be a lot better, there is sound seepage and a few more parking spaces.

Location excellent. Clean rooms. Staff upon check in were lovely. Would stay again. Amazing view.
Roll away not in room when checked in. Was very warm. Cooling/heating very old and dated and was noisy.

Great location
The room was overall dirty and dusty, needs a deep clean. Kitchen utensils were dirty, couch is old and stained, the fan/lights turned on both nights in the middle of the night and fan randomly turning off and on. It also states free parking which is NOT true (they have 17 free parking spots for close to 60 hotel rooms.) If you miss out, you have to pay $5.30 per hour for the metered parking in 2hr intervals. As we were travelling by car, we would not have booked if we had known there wasn't enough car parks. The price doesn't match the quality of the hotel.

Location very good.room very good.excellent view
Advertised with free parking.but subject to availability when you get there, bit of a inconvenience for old folks with a bit of a disability

The location was fabulous
Parking was very inconvenient, nowhere to charge my EV. Having the bathrooms on the ground floor and bedroom upstairs was an inconvenience especially at night. Very noisy, inefficient and old air conditioning system.
8.0
Location, staff brilliant, nice apartment but sleeping areas a bit cosy, main bedroom really hot and stuffy. Had to sleep with fan on all night.
Also an earth hum in air con unit - reported on leaving
See above.

Location , plenty of room , like the way the bedroom is hidden away , staff lovely
The blinds in the room need updating, noisy to use and worn out basically

It's walking distance to everything you need, everything is so close by
There is not enough parking, even though you get a parking ticket to put on your dash, the locals take up all the carparks.

The quiet serenity and ever changing beautiful views of Hobart and surrounds. Staff courteous and helpful.
Parking is awkward

Perfect location, sizeable room, helpful staff
Room was dated and heater very loud

Views, location and staff. Everything close by and able to walk to most restaurants and cafes.
Too expensive for what you get, downstairs bathroom only with bed upstairs and issues with hot water with only limited of street. car parking.

This location is amazing being at the pier in Hobart! The atmosphere of the hills and mountain surrounds and of course the bay with all the sailing boats. And eateries galore in walking distance with the Hobart atmosphere. Fantastic for us!

The location was perfect, right on the water with a lovely view. Nicely furnished. Close to many tourist attractions.
Saturday night was terrible. There was very loud thumping music playing somewhere close by until 3am which kept us awake. The room was not well insulated for sound.

The location was excellent, the staff were great.
I booked a standard non balcony room which was nice on first impressions. turned the AC on and it was like a freight train coming thru the room (all rooms have the same AC). turned it off and it hummed loudly continuously, which made it very hard to sleep. the lounge had very questionable marks on it. the ceiling fans had a lot of dust on the blades with a layer of dust on the side tables. my wife is asthmatic so this was unacceptable. if you are a light sleeper, then bring ear plugs as the walls are paper thin. I complained about our room the next morning, and the front desk were excellent and upgraded our room. especially when I showed her pics. The main bed was in a loft, which was nice, but the the bathroom/toilet was downstairs. great people that work there, ok value, but quality assurance was terrible. I think they relied too much on the location and not the rooms. Had to park off site as well.
