Excellent holiday in lovely villa in great location

The bungalow was nicer in real life than the photos. It was cosy and functional but still with plenty of space for a family of four. There was a great amount of storage for clothes etc. Although small, the kitchen had everything required for a self catering holiday. It was great to have a washing machine and bbq in the garden. The rooms were clean and tidy and we had twice weekly maid service. The communal areas were immaculately maintained with pretty and traditional gardens. The pool area was quiet and relaxing (but still with some kids playing) and we could always get a sun bed. Although there is no bar you can buy cold drinks and icecreams from reception. The location was fantastic with only a few minutes walk to get to shops, restaurants and beaches. Overall we had a superb holiday and will be very likely to return to Casa del Sol.

There's very little we didn't like. If I had to nit pick I'd say the sunbed mattresses in the villa could do with a clean, the pay as you go air con cost slightly more than we'd expected (but only a few euros per day) and it would have been good to have a larger chopping board in the kitchen! It would also have been good if the bedroom curtains could have been darker as we found the kids still woke up early when the sun rises at 7am ish. If there were blackout curtains we might have got a longer lie in! 😆 We were also a little surprised to find that the use of inflatables in the pool is restricted to two hours per day. However, this actually turned out to be a positive as we loved the quiet vibe of the pool area. Much more enjoyable than the madness of some large hotel complexes.

the property is in a fantastic location central to all local amenities. The pool is a great size and safely lifeguardsed. Reception staff are welcoming and very helpful. The property is clean and very spacious

The bedroom layout is a bit odd with the main bedroom having the third bed which I think would be better with the other two single beds. I’d swap the bunks in the smaller room with a single and place the bunks in the bigger bedroom with the other single leaving the Mai bedroom as a master

Absolutely perfect, will not hesitate to book again.

Reception staff were friendly and informative. Accommodation was spotlessly clean, comfortable and instructions were clear.

One mattress was very thin and sunk in the middle but after I mentioned it to reception, the next day at 9am I had a new mattress. I was very thankful and pleased!

the original villa we booked had a mite infestation so we had to be moved to a different villa.

Very relaxing and a pleasure to be there- 2nd visit

Good pool, ice creams, excellent maintenance of the whole site and gardens

If water has to be switched off, place a very big sign outside reception- only happened once but could have been better informed

Perfect family getaway

I could recommend this property enough ! just perfect for our weeks holiday ! The house was lovely, the pool was great the staff were very helpful and everything was clean and fresh

Very comfortable and well equipped villa

Very clean and well equipped. With the bbq set we were able to have some charcoal grilled seafood. Also loved the swimming pool and tennis court (rentable at 5 eur / hr)

A lovely complex in a great location

The villa was very clean when we arrived and had everything we could need including a toaster and kettle which can be rare in Spain. The bed was very comfortable. The terrace at the front is a nice space to have to yourself. It has sun loungers and a bbq. The facilities in the complex are great. The pool is excellent. It's a salt water pool which is heated (though not warm, it's just right for a refreshing dip!) and it's much nicer than a fresh water pool full of chemicals. They are taking the covid restrictions seriously and there is plenty of space between sun loungers at the pool. The life guard was vigilent about making sure guests sanitise their hands and he sanitised the loungers as soon as people vacated them. Staff are great, very helpful and, in fact, the receptionist called us to tell us we could stay late on our last day as there was nobody taking our villa that evening. It was nice that he took the initiative to let us know and it made our last day all the better and more relaxed. The location is great. Quiet but walking distance to playa blanca beach or playa flamingo. Spar supermarket just across the road and a bigger superdino just up the road. All in all would highly recommend casas del Sol!

When our villa was cleaned on our 3rd day the bed sheets weren't changed. We had to get fresh ones from reception and change them ourselves.
