I stayed at the Swan Revived Hotel whilst attending the British Grand Prix, and I couldn't be happier with my choice! The room was great, the pub grub was great, the beer was great, the breakfast was great, and the staff were all amazingly friendly and welcoming! The hotel is perfectly located for the F1 weekend, as it's only a 10 min taxi ride down to the Silverstone shuttle bus departure point. It's also 10 mins from Milton Keynes Central.
I'm struggling to find something I didn't like - maybe the sink in the room was a bit surprising but it's obviously a clever use of space, so it's logical and it works well.

La habitación muy amplia y baño totalmente renovado. Muy bien.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
The bedrooms we had were definitely in need of upgrading and a refurbishment. The beds were smaller than a normal double bed, but comfortable. The furniture in them was very run down, rickety and in dire need of replacement.

Bar and restaurant areas downstairs were great and staff were very friendly.
Very limited parking which I wasn’t expecting and the rooms were extremely hot - no fresh air able to circulate

It was very easy check in, welcoming staff, room wasn’t too difficult to find. Night porter available after hours to allow access which was nice. Location was good for where I needed to be and seemed to be lots of interesting shops nearby. I was working so didn’t get the opportunity to have a look around but did notice salons barber shops and convenience store etc
The outside area was nice to sit especially when it was such a lovely warm summer evening
Being a pub downstairs it was quite noisy and is obviously to be expected when booking this type of accommodation.
The room was small it had what seemed to be a small double bed, yes I booked for one person but felt small.
Very clean with nice modern bathroom but the rest is a bit dated. However it is an old building so I guess it adds to the quirkiness of it

Great service. Breakfast was amazing
parking was full but there was free overnight parking available 2 mins from hotel

No grumbles about anything, which is a very good sign. And a couple of occasions where the staff couldn't have reacted better. Excellent value breakfast. All in, very good, will use again.
No TV network connection.

Great location , food was good , reasonably priced
For the price I paid I don’t feel it warrants criticism

Lovely English family hotel. I have stayed here a couple of times with family and we all enjoyed our stay.

Lovely old building, full of character. Especially liked the dining room decor.
Nice good sized bedroom.
Quiet room despite being in the centre of Newport Pagnell.

Great breakfast and good facilities
Very noisy on Sat night

Great location and free parking. Historical building.
The room was very dated (curtains looked years old) and not very clean, eg cobwebs on window, dirt windows, etc.

The rooms were really nice and meals we had were lovely too.
It was good too that we were able to have free parking.
Thankyou for our lovely stay.

Breakfast is always amazing
Extremely welcome place and building has age and character and very nice pretty location

Perfect location with good facilities. Always a high quality and freshly prepared breakfast.
Showing its age from a decor perspective but still manages to have a charm

Close to where , I needed to be. Could not fault any of the staff, absolutely brilliant!!
Shame I paid more for my room, with no breakfast included. Several of my relatives paid 25% less than myself had a breakfast included, but they all booked direct with the hotel.

Perfect location, friendly staff. Comfortable and clean room. Breakfast freshly cooked.
Shower head did not fit bracket, clearly an after market repair…..irritating!

We really like this hotel and stay here often. It is in the heart of Newport Pagnell in easy walking distance of shops and restaurants, with free onsite parking. Excellent breakfast included in the price and nice to have the bar/restaurant facilities in house. This hotel is an old building which is full of character and old world charm. Lovely staff who are always helpful and welcoming
Although the hotel has a lift, some rooms are only accessible by stairs. If this is a problem for you, you should request a room without stairs

great place and friendly staff
parking was a slight issue

Lovely lady at reception so checking in was quick and painless.
Worst room for a long time. So small you can't swing a cat. Window was stuck and impossible to open. Bed was not comfortable. Room was on the third floor and lift only goes to second. Several stairs with a heavy bag. At breakfast I was passed by the waitress sever times without paying me any attention. Only when I asked her did I get my breakfast, but again I had to ask for the coffee I ordered. Overall not a pleasant experience.

Beds were very comfortable, two good pillows and good duvet. Lounge comfortable.
Decor throughout was tired. Breakfast was a bit tired too, fruit was down to melon, by the time we got there. Evening meal was a bit below par, frozen veg could have been replaced with some fresh and would have made all the difference.

Good Breakfast but didn’t pass the poached egg test. excellent location.
bit dated

great location in town centre. amazing breakfast.
dated room with wash basin in the bedroom.

The staff were very welcoming, the bed was really comfy and the room was clean and tidy for my arrival.
The lift was only just big enough for myself and my luggage, the walls were very thin so I could hear everything and when someone flushed the toilet it was quite loud! When I arrived to my room the window was open so was really cold and even when I shut it there was still a draft coming in the window and only a very small heater to heat the room so I had to sleep right under the covers all night to keep warm. The shower was a bit temperamental with the temperature but it did work alright. Also the room didn’t look like any of the photos I saw when booking, so very misleading!
