Absolutely stunning Heritage hotel, away from the maddening crowds, totally and utterly secluded, exactly what we were looking for.Although it states this is close to Arambol, thank god it really isn't,and if Arambol is your thing, then Tiricol certainly will not be.
There is nothing to dislike, other than ignorant day trip visitors who think you can see a sunset looking South, clambering near to your table in the veranda restaurant overlooking the Tiricol river, taking pictures hoping that the sun will miraculously appear setting in the south instead of the west.

Location is good but not utilized properly & very misleading.
BOOKING.COM reputation will be affected.
VERY BAD
- Housekeeping
- Staff support
- Toiletries
- Towel’s ( insufficient & Torn)
- NO WIFI
- Electricity is sporadic
- Room /Toilet Cleaning is below average
- NOT SUITABLE for NRI’s who have experienced MUCH BETTER International Facility’s for HALF the Price

Fort Tiracol was magnificent, beautiful property with stunning views of the Arabian Sea.
The property was great, it would be nice to have a. few more food options for kids . However said that, the food was really very good .

Nice and quiet, lovely views. comfy bed & great to have our own balcony. some nice walking out the back of the property.
It’s a bit isolated so if you want a change of scenery you need to walk to other restaurants or to the ferry point.

This is a heritage property and one cannot expect resort/hotel type of facilities. Still they have checked every bit to make.one comfortable and give an elite feel to the past. Chapel/church adds to the ambience.
Food is a bit pricey according to the taste and appearance.
The balcony/private terrace with the room was good but due to fear of monkeys and mosquitos post evening we couldnt make much use of it.
There should be a safe passage with hand rails to get a good view or spend some lone time with sea view.

Fort Tiacol was a wonderful place to stay, situated on the top of the hill away from the crowds. There were good possibility to go for walks. In the afternoons we watched the sunset from a beautiful deserted spot north of the fort.
The terrace restaurant was fantastic with stunning view and nice staff. We enjoyed very much the food as well.
Delicious seafood, fresh juices and a good choice of indian and western dishes.
The staff there were very polite and kind to us. We felt that they took care of us. We loved this small restaurant, we had all our meals there.
Our rooms were nicely decorated and had balconies. The bathroom were huge and had a wardrobe.
Our stay at Tiracol was our treat of a two months trip. We wanted to celebrate Christmas there and we had a memorable midnight mass in the tiny church in the fort yard.
The only thing I did not like was the rubbish in the area behind the fort. This area is unique in whole Goa. Pity that people who go out in this beautiful nature do throw their rubbish right there. Why do they not bring it back and leave the nature clean??? The fort administration should put a sign where they ask people not to litter. It might help.

amazing location and good food.
could be a bit remote if you don’t have a car
also we did the booking in advance for the post Christmas period and besides providing a card for the booking they kept harassing us for a full payment from august !!! they even cancelled the booking once as I was. it ready to pay so early as I was travelling from the uk.
you have to tell them to clean the room or else they don’t do it.

Fort Tiracol
We stayed here for only a night so my review is based on a short experience. The first reaction on seeing the fort and hotel is one of awe as the property is indeed beautiful and well maintained. It gives you a feeling of going through a time machine and living in the past but with all modern amenities. The room was especially beautiful with its beautiful chandeliers, ocean view seating area, a huge bathroom, antique furniture. Another positive point is the food, the menu is limited and more variety would be appreciated but whatever we ordered was delicious.
The view from the restaurant is exquisite but it's open to outsiders in day time and seating is limited so for the best tables one has to be on time and lucky. There is not much to do but relax. The activities are all over priced. We went on the heritage tour which was a beautiful walk and the sunset plus caves were amazing. But one can easily go on the walk by oneself. Also we were disappointed that no proper instructions were given regarding clothing for the walk. Been unaware of the terrain we weren't dressed in full denims and ended up with thorns in our clothes and blood and wounds all over our legs. A simple instruction would have saved us a lot of pain. Considering the overall experience, the hotel and services seem overpriced. If you have money to spend and want to experience a stay in a historic place then go for it.

Definitely one of the most amazing places I've been so far. Absolutely worth visiting. Perfect combination of breathtaking nature, amazing architecture, wonderful interiors, impeccable service. We are really touched by hospitality. One of the rare moments when what you get is much more then your expectations! Come and visit, you won't regret!

location, staff, service, food- the best boutique hotel I have been to
there was nothing not to like

There are multiple constraints with respect to our stay at the hotel. To begin with, the room is musty, walls are damp, making the air in the room mouldy and it became difficult to breathe. Secondly, in the night there was a massive issue with pests, there were crickets, mosquitoes, bugs all night, despite using the mosquito net. When asked for help, the hotel staff gave us incense sticks. Thirdly, there were no mineral water or sufficient amenities provided in the room. Lastly, the overall upkeep and hygiene standards were not upto the mark for a room worth INR~

The location is good and the Staff were very welcoming and warm. The food at the restaurant was real good although I feel the portions could be a tad larger and this is coming from someone who isn't a big eater.
Sheets were damp and had an odour. Rest all was nice.

This hotel is in a great location. The views are spectacular. Large room with a small balcony. Great restaurant. They were able to rent a scooter conveniently to get to explore the environment.
I think at this price you should get pillows without mold spots. The smell was bad.

Great place to stay if you are away from the hustle bustle.
The place is far off from the center of goa.
Love it for it's serenity
The distance getting there and commuting to Goa.

The breakfast was fairly standard as is served any where else.
Nothing specifically
8.0 / 10.0
The "Saturday "room was fantastic with a balcony looking out to the sea. The bed and bathroom very spacious and clean. Staff in the restaurant were excellent and professional
To reflect the cost I would suggest softer towels, a bigger geyser as the amount of hot water was minimal for a shower. The room fan was old and noisy though there was aircon but not everybody likes aircon.

Located at a scenic place overlooking the Querim beach. Private sunbathing balconies , spacious bathrooms , well maintained premises, romantic destination.
Cannot help but there is no access to the beach from here easily. Have to cross the river by ferry.
The food menu is limited for staycationers and hence not recommended for longer stay. Considering the price spa and bathtub should be made available.

Hospitality, service and location
Little too expensive for it offers
