Gran profesional .

We like almost everything of the hotel. The staffs are very helpful and great in service. We were lost in the city and we called the hotel, one of the staffs came to pick us. We also ordered dinner at the hotel, the taste of the food was the best we tried in morocco. That was our last day dinner and we regent not to ordered for every meal of us. They breakfast was also good. They freshly served it. There are nicely decorated rooftop and common seating areas also.
It was difficult to connect to the hotel wifi as the walls of the hotel is bit thick. And the bathroom was a bit smelly.

Good location and friendly staff.
After spending some time traveling in Morocco and having other experiences I would expect more for the price (especially from a place with such good reviews).
They didn’t know about our booking and were surprised when we showed up at the door; luckily there was a room available. We were also promised to have a parking spot (included in the price), but we had to find our own and pay for it. I’m pretty sure the price was also supposed to include the city tax, but we had to pay for it extra.

Please be aware that if you make a non-refundable reservation, you will not get your money back even if Morocco closes its borders due to the pandemic. We have contacted the staff several times in the past few weeks to see if they will offer us an open change of dates valid for next year, but we are finding it very difficult to get a final concrete answer.

Nothing
They are cheaters, they say that they have parking space open to public but they showed a place far away from hotel and not safe. So it is told that they could cancel the stat. They did it but picked up the money from credit card

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Merstane. It's settled not directly in the center of the Medina but it's more a calm and with short walk you can reach most of the sightseeing stuff easily. If you try to find the Riad by yourself it's not so easy, I would recommend to call Rachid he will pick you up. The whole staff is so friendly and helpful, first and foremost we have to mention Rachid, he helped us with everything, e.g. made reservations in restaurants or booked us a driver to go to Essaouira and to the Atlas-Mountains he also gave us tips and helped us out with wine and everything we needed. The room was as beautiful as shown in the pictures. We slept well and the whole Riad was very calm and relaxing (Rooftop). The breakfast is very good but could vary a bit more.

Food, decoration, friendly staff
The Aircon didn't work with the heating. Didn't know you had to pay 100DH as a city tax. It should be billed into the cost.

The place is so well decorated and the patio is just what you expect.
We felt like we had the road to ourself, as there are only 5 rooms you don't see that many people.
Rachid and Mo were really nice and helpful, I even saw them walking people around so they can build confidence in the Medina maze.
The bed was a bit hard to my taste

They did not have card facilities which we did not know beforehand. It would be good for others to know before arriving with no cash.
