A limpeza e o conforto que tem, me senti em casa, funcionários atenciosos e principalmente a recepcionista Márcia que me recebeu com bastante alegria e bem atenciosa com as informações, eu recomendo o hotel pra todos que vão ao Rio de Janeiro

Loved tye fact that they are located close to the center of the city. Though I do like to walk a lot. Also, the staff where friendly and I like to keep my room key, as in most south american countries you leave it at the desk. They did not mind. The breakfast was ok, had all your basics, eggs, cheese , coffee and other good things. Front desk staff are friendly as well. Room was clean, and great for the price overall.
Nothing, you pay a good price and you get the basics. What else do you need. 🙂
It close to the center...

Convenient location, friendly staff. Very simple hotel, cheap for Rio standards. Subway is just a few steps away from the entrance, which makes it easy to get to the touristic areas. Walking distance from Flamengo beach.
You get what you pay for, considering the cost of staying in Rio. It has a kind of hostel vibe with private rooms to me. Rooms are very small and dark, because the tiny window in the room doesn't have access to sunlight. There's space just for a small luggage in the room, and you have to use the fridge as a desk. Bathroom is also super small, shower is almost above the toilet. Toilet paper is very cheap quality. Air-conditioning is noisy and they forgot to turn it on one night I came back, so I thought it broke.

The staff was excellent. Breakfast was great, room was very clean. Excellent, excellent location, about 10 min walk to parks and beach, near lots of shopping and food places.
The door to the room is really weird and hard to get in and out off, room was extremely small. All throughout the hallways were old mattresses alongside the wall it's makes the hallways even more cramped and narrow than they already were. There is no where to cook your food if you want to stay there for a few days instead of eating out so much. Only a microwave no sink. Also no laundry service

I could be on my own for a cheap price, the breakfast was good, and the location as well, near a lot of commodities and beach.
noise of ventilation from outside of my room all the time

cleaning and the staff were so friendly and kindly, they were the best ones

Excellent location for Flamengo Beach and cultural center. There are lots of restaurants and shops around.
Bedding — sheets and blankets were very old. This is a detail that could have made the experience better. The rooms are small and there are many steep narrow stairs to haul your luggage up, but those things can’t change. What could improve is the bedding could be much nicer.

Located in a safe and vibrant neighborhood. Close to many grocery stores and restaurants. Praia do Flamengo beach and parks just blocks way.
Doors and windows have big gap and can hear other guests talk loudly in the hallway.

Room basic, excellent WiFi, breakfast sufficient though options/selections never change. Staff very helpful though no language(s) spoken other than Portuguese but Google translate worked wonders! Other than price, location is the prime reason for staying here with the Catete Metro stop directly across the street. Bustling neighborhood street lined with shops, restaurants, and plenty of pharmacies for rapid ANTIGEN Covid tests. Never felt unsafe or threatened. Frequent things were happening at the incredible Museu da República across the street (free Sundays/Tuesdays) and short walk to Largo do Marchado - with quick access to the official tourism tickets/vans for getting up to Corcovado and Christ the Redeemer statue - go early!
The twin mattress was too firm and very uncomfortable for sleeping on 8 nights and I woke up stiff/sore most mornings. There were several days the outside temperature was 100+/37c+ and room was too hot. Since I booked for a long-term stay, I asked Day 1 for a fan - which the housekeeper eagerly provided, in addition to the air conditioning. And while this was not a problem for me, FYI it's 36 steep steps from street up to the hotel and a shorter but steeper staircase for getting to dining hall and most rooms on the next floor.
