Hotel gym was under construction. Beach is mediocre. The poolside bbq (I did not reserve up front but it proved to be the only option) was ridden of food in no time. I arrived a bit later than most (avoiding the breaking of the fast as it is Ramadan) and found most supplies already finished.

I like the view of sea and I love the nature of the resort. The view was amazing from the Room. See you good for relaxing.

I didn’t like the property is we added in the instructions, extra amenities of the amenities they not provided if we ask they are delaying to get the amenities or anything. The room cleaning was not good. The hairs on the floor and stains water stains on the mirror, we request for them to joining the bed, but there is full of gap on the bats, and I am disappointed with the stay we received a hair in the tea cup the housekeeping staff is very good

One HOT stay at Batam Beach View Resort

It has nice view overseeing batam city center. The staff were friendly.

The room uses centralize aircond system and does not allow us to manually control the room temperature. All of our rooms were so hot during the day. One of our room needs additional fan to regulate the wind flow. The resort is also quite far from everywhere else.

Enjoyable and memorable

Their buggy service to the lobby and the villa. The shuttle bus servives betwen Nongsa ferry terminal to the hotel.

If u r a fan of wooden house and furniture, it is the place. For me, the wooden wardrobe is creepy. The doors and floor is a bit squeaky. Very noisy one whole afternoon due to some event on the beach. You can hear the tide at night (one bedroom villa). Ď

Very Poor Service

Rooms are spacious and clean. Scenery wasn't really Seaview as its blocked by the coconut trees.

Staff though it's friendly but never get things done. Call for room service and house keeping, nobody pick up the phone at all. Even pick up and inform them to assist with the order and getting someone to help with the aircon is not cold. It can take years. No one comes at all. I don't know what's wrong with them. Upon arrival at the terminal, someone took our passport and say its Express lane for immigration. Till we reach the hotel, we never see our passport at all. Until we have to request it from the reception. Asking luggage to be bring up to room is as good as you didn't ask at all. The luggage can be left in the reception till evening time if we didn't go down to pick it up ourselves. First and last time to be there.

-had to wait because staff could find my booking -called room service and told staff to help clear but no one came in the end and the place attracted a lot of ants -called house keeping and no one showed up -aircon was spoiled the entire room was very hot -check out took very long and there was a misunderstanding on a charge and they refused to let us go when our grab came 20 mins ago told them we were in a rush too

Value for money getaway for a day. But not much to do.

Newly refurbished rooms so they were clean & comfortable. Value for money. Hotel is only 10 mins drive from the other ferry pier & free pick-up was provided.

The private road leading to the hotel was full of pot-holes & badly in need to repair. Hotel swimming pool is small & crowded with kids. Beach was too rocky to swim & not much to do at hotel. Though it’s near ferry pier but too far from city-centre. Massage at hotel was expensive & not quite up to standard. Better get massage outside.

Superb

Got lucky to get the top floor, most cornered room with sea view. Resort also accommodated to my twin bed request and overall, we had a pleasant stay there. Thank you so much, Batam View! Will visit again with my family next 🤟🏼

On the third day, we found a lizard near the clothes rack but understandable since our room is located close to the staircase but nonetheless, everything else was great.

Maybe due to being sold out and higher guest number, request for housekeeping(make up room) was not done. Were apologetic regarding this but could be better.

Some improvements can be observed, such as the buffet breakfast and the two bedroom villa we lived.

Location, friendly staff, nice breakfast during weekend.

All in all, satisfied and chilled out stay

Conveniently located near Nongsa Ferry Terminal (5-8 mins by free shuttle bus provided by property), this property is value for money. However breakfast spread is limited not that great, other than pool table and dart no other games available since property have many areas under renovation. Swimming pool is fun, you can take some beers in the corner and enjoy the sun in the pool and get tanned ;) Kelong Seafood restaurant is amazing, its a must go! My fav was Garlic butter prawn and Spicy Sea bass! The view from the restaurant is beautiful just go in the evening around 5, enjoy some cocktails while watching beautiful sunset, its mesmerizing!

Their private beach is disappointing. Breakfast was not great too, but not bad as well :D

Disappointing

The location with its sea view, and the space that the resort has were great. However, the restaurants were both awful, service was poor and food average, at best. Tables were left sitting dirty all day and we waited on average 50 minutes for each dish. The kitchen constantly ran out of items. We had high tea in one of the restaurants for 2 adults and 2 chn, staff were unable to swap the tea/coffee for a suitable drink for our kids, and even refused to swap for water! Decor in restaurants tired and dated. I was told I was unable to buy a glass of wine in the main restaurant- and it would have to be a bottle- despite being sold a glass of wine earlier in the day. Had to ask several times before they agreed to serve me a glass. We ended up eating in the resort next door, Montigo, instead. On arrival, our room was missing kids beds and our 'complimentary mini-bar' as part of our suite turned out to be 2 bottles of water daily. Our room was left uncleaned and we had to call house keeping several times to chase up. When the room was cleaned, cups were not washed or replaced with clean ones. Disappointed that the pool charge $5 SGD hire fee, for kids to play with pool floaties.
