Wohlfühloase im Westerwald

Schön renovierte, großzügige Zimmer, freundliche Einrichtung im Vintage Stil. Sehr freundliches Personal, familiäre Atmosphäre. Sehr gutes Frühstück, das Restaurant ist auch sehr zu empfehlen, sehr gemütlich und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Essen sehr lecker und absolut frisch zubereitet.

Perfect en ook lekker gegeten.

Bijzonder hotel. De eigenaar heeft een creatieve geest. Geen traditionele inrichting met speelse inrichting van de hele lokatie. Verder is alles versierd met veel leuke atributen. Een soort mini museum. Grote kamer en een zeer fijne gescheide douche ruimte. Het ontbijt was uitmuntend en ook weer in een leuke omgeving. Mooi uitzicht op de tuin.

Eigenlijk niets viel me tegen.

Prima voor een nacht.

Familiekamer was ruim en schoon. Ontbijt was lekker en ruim voldoende.

De 2 eenpersoons bedden hebben een heel dun matras en erop liggen is daardoor vrij hard. Restaurant is oké, alleen zeer Duitse gerechten (veel aardappelen en vlees) en menukaart alleen in Duits. Bediening spreekt alleen Duits en zeer onvriendelijk.

Super schön wenn man Urlaub macht.

Die Lage ist umwerfend schön, hatte ein richtiges Urlaubsfeeling. Das ganze Areal ist sehr individuell und kreativ, überall ist etwas zu bestaunen. Schönes Frühstück, rundum versorgt.

Das Zimmer zur Straße war sehr laut und das Bett zu kurz. Telefonate gehen nur über WLAN.

I was driving from England. Easy to find. Quiet and clean properly. Good place for hiking. Friendly and welcoming staff. Delicious food. Free parking

if you pay extra for a better room here, check in advance which one you will get.

The meal was very good.

We booked a room with a terrace in the accommodation facility and paid extra fee for that over booking.com. They gave us another room, lower quality without notice. This is disappointing that it doesn't work.

Would definitely stay again

The location was good. Excellent place to stay with dogs. The room was large and cool . The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped but did not have a bottle opener which would have been nice as the bar and restaurant was closed so we had to go out to get dinner and drinks . I’m not sure if the gardens were suppose to look rustic and wild or they had been left to grow over the winter but the place has a very relaxing feeling with breath taking views and walks .

only 2 pillows And no extra blanket . We stayed out of season on a Monday so apparently that was why the restaurant was closed .

A wonderful experience that I want to have again

The room was big and designed with taste. The bed was very comfortable and there was even a coffee machine in the kitchen. The location is like in a fairy tale 😊 surrounded by trees and with a nice fresh air, with buildings in Dali style and sufficient parking lots. The staff is very nice and friendly and they seem to love their job.

Very comfortable, high value to money, cozy and romantic even for us business travelers.

Nestled in the forest along the Roman Limes Unesco site, the hotel felt more like an interesting collection of very stylish buildings done in an Spanish Art fashion blending in with nature. The smells from the wood burning fireplace was a perfect ambiance to the location. Food was excellent, the rooms extremely nice and the value unsurpassed in Germany so far and I have been coming for 25 years. Very happy about this place!!!

Great value for money

Overall hotel buildings are in the middle of the woods. A very nice location! The restaurant is excellent, both for dinner and for breakfast. The buildings are nicely decorated with Gaudi type of tiles on the outside and green roofs. Staff was very friendly and helped us to park our bicycles inside.

The room itself was ok and not very special. Still it was relatively big with a small kitchenette. Overall it was a bit outdated. However, the hotel experience with food, building design and friendly staff completely made up for it. The rooms are also medium priced, so the value is still ok.

Covid lockdown transit stay - beggars can't be choosers!

The staff couldn't really have been more helpful. They informed us of the hotel closure due to the lockdown and moved us to the Hotel Elan by the autobahn outside Limburg. Given the alternatives, I guess we were lucky to have anywhere to stay. The staff at the Hotel Elan were helpful and the breakfast was good.

The Hotel Elan - whilst convenient - was a disappointment. The hotel is situated in the middle of the fast food outlets in an industrial estate outside Limburg just off the autobahn. The room was very basic motel-style, but at least fairly quiet and comfortable. Please note the ratings here are really for the Hotel Elan.

Great location and good service

The location is very convenient and it has a very beautiful view. Good breakfast and good food at the hotel for dinner.

The bed is a little bit too soft, but it’s a very personal thing...

Very good

The location is amazing, you are 10-15 mins away from big cities, but once you have parked your car it’s like you are in a different world, so peaceful and relaxing. Very well priced.

Cozy retreat, great with and without kids

Ressort-like facility beautifully embedded in nature. Very quiet. Excellent breakfast. Lots of opportunities for children of all ages to entertain themselves. Restaurant with indoor/outdoor seating with a good selection of dishes including local specialties.
