We loved the location.
It was really close to Downtown
No hot water.
No pool
The worst part is the small parking lot
The Night Shift staff bad behavior, I did it feel peace in special
With the mister. We had a rainy day and that person did not want to
Give us an extra towel.

The kindness of its staff
We tried 3 rooms in 3 nights, none of them where clean. You had insects, hairs in the shower and floor from previous clients.
They have an huge issue with cockroaches, they nested behind the paintings.

Fast wifi – everything else was awful.
The shower was barely a trickle, they said they would fix but nobody even came to look, the water was always stone cold, so had to fill my hands and wash that way.
The sink was in the hallway, not the bathroom – odd!
The room was not cleaned properly, the seating was stained badly, the doors had liquid spills on, it was just poorly cleaned and maintained.
They wanted two days and $5 to wash two tops if I wanted laundry, even though I asked early morning.
They lost my room key and it took over an hour for it to be returned.
The pool isn’t cleaned, and the room looked nothing like the photo (and i viewed a few different ones)
Only one staff member spoke english, he tried his best.
If you’re considering a stay here, just don’t bother, it ruined merida for me and instead of a four day stay I left after 2.
Quite possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, certainly the worst in Mexico I’ve been to.

During our stay there was no hot water under the shower for most of the time. We had to take cold showers which was not nice

Amazing location. Steps away from Paseo de Montejo and near shops, restaurants, and bars.
Vintage hotel that could use some updating. No hot water but luckily the weather was hot enough to tolerate the cold shower.

The location of the hotel was very convenient. Upon entering the presentation was nice with lots of vegetation. Parking was tight but available. The gift shop was decent.
The hotel was completely full because of a Guns and Roses concert. My room was the last room at the end of the property. over 60 meters to the front desk if I had a problem. The room was sparse. No chair at the desk. the bed looked as though it had not been changed but simply had the covers thrown back over the bed.
No cups for the coffee maker. The coffee maker had coffee in it that was covered with a layer of thick mold. Looked like it had been there weeks. My attempt to call the front desk was a fail since the phone did not work. There was no remote for the A/C. Walked to the front desk (no phone). Office found a remote. Returned to the room. Decided to watch TV. Could not find remote. No remote in the room. Another trip to the front desk. (long walk again). The ad said continetal breakfast. I assumed it was included. It was not. There was a dining room with two nice ladies who were preparing the cook breakfast from a full menu. However I was told that I could not get breakfast since I did not pay for a breakfast and the ladies only cooked for guest who paid for a room with breakfast included. I offered to pay. They said that was not an option. Finally, after some discussion with the front desk and because of all of the problems when I arrived in my room, they "allowed" me to pay for breakfast (no offer to comp the meal). The bellboy was a new hire, young and had no idea what he was doing. Simply took me to the room, did not check the room or even turn on the lights. The front desk supervisor apologized for this on one of my trips to the front desk. And they never did anything about the moldy coffee pot sitting on the counter in my room.

location was fair but not as close to attractions as initially thought.
Bed was horrible...old with springs poking against me.
Mosquitos were in control of the property.

Rest room is very clean and room is very cozy
The staffs are very kind and helpful
Most of all i like the text on the tip envelope
"Your room is being cleaned by Miguel"
They are so professional right?
Everything is perfect

The location is really the only positive note.
Plastic pad on the bed, that we had take off (gross). Moldy bathroom. Dingy towels. Crappy sheets and pillows. The room lacks maintenance - for example, the TV was literally balancing on itself (no wall mount or stand), plus a broken toilet seat. The pool was filthy - never skimmed in the time we were there. The hall was swarming with mosquitos. Despite the fact that we were there for a week and the hotel was practically empty, it felt like we got the worst room and on the ground floor. Internet sucked and was off for days. I cannot recommend it. The weird thing is that the staff was all super nice - but they need to focus that energy on cleaning the place!

the lobby
everything. location is in the middle of nowhere and a log walk to the center, in the sweltering heat. the rooms are large but in desperate need to attention, rusty pipes, badly painted. mattress was as hard as a rock with sheets that don’t even cover it completely. shower is old but not in a charming way.
staff were asleep on the floor in the lobby when I arrived and had no idea how to check me in
this is good as a budget hotel, but not at the prices it currently charges.
