Location good, staff excellent but rooms too small.

Location was good, breakfast good but room was tiny. wife had to climb over me to go to the bathroom because one side of the bed is against the wall. It was like sleeping in a motorhome.

The room was far too small. Couldnt put your cases anywhere and bed right up agains the wall made for a bad night sleep.

Wonderful and would come again!

This would be the second time staying at the The Bird. I’d recommend to anyone looking for inclusive and close to town centre location.

I guess the parking element it’s nice there’s a parking space but it could be a little less in price or if prices not reduced maybe secure parking. As it’s currently “park at your own risk”

Perfect place for seeing Bath

Location. Very helpful friendly staff nice little touches such as bottled water and cookies when checking out. Room had everything you needed

Not a big issue but room was quite small. Reminded me of room sizes on a couple of stays in Paris

Great service and lovely food. Overall very good but a bit expensive for what it is

Excellent breakfast and really friendly, attentive staff.

The bathroom was tiny and the tap needed to be fixed. Mould in the corner of the shower. The bedside lamp stopped working after 10 minutes. Both issues were reported at checkout, and am sure they will be fixed. The room was at the top of a long flight of stairs. Exhausting to get to carry luggage up to.

Location is quite nice in a green area of the city. Being able to park at the property was a bonus.

The shower in bathroom was poor and had great difficulty turning it off. Needed to use a towel. The food is too expensive for what you get.

Car park is limited and very tight for space. Would go elsewhere for breakfast if we stayed again.

We spent one night at The Bird with our miniature Dachshund. The staff at The Bird made it a lovely stay, there’s a dogg

Quirky and fun interior decor, comfy bed, informative friendly staff, great value breakfasts, dog friendly (for a £25 supplement), great location, paid parking on site.

Parking is paid at £20 per night, but with parking at a premium in Bath, this is to be expected. The cost of the stay was a little pricey but we we were there over the Easter weekend so the prices in all hotels in Bath were higher.

This place is an absolute gem!

absolutely loved everything about my stay at The Bird. The welcome was so warm I immediately felt at home. The attention to detail and luxury touches were wonderful. I felt so well treated and sorry to leave after only one night.

Very good

Lovely and well-decorated room, with a great shower. The staff were amazingly welcoming and the breakfast was delicious.

Unfortunately the coffee machine in our room was broken.

Lovely hotel with great staff.

Cleanliness was the only negative. Cobwebs hanging from the light fitting and bathroom vent full of dust that covered the bathroom when switched on.

great if you want partner to paint toe nails whilst your on the toilet!!

comfy bed. great shower. cleaning staff helpful.

no separate bathroom didn’t like the 2 frosted glass doors at foot of bed for shower and toilet.. not private, no good for new couples and no good if your on the larger side you wouldn’t fit!! advertised as en-suite deffo not en-suite. feet stick out of bottom of door when sat on toilet! car parking a rip off.. difficult to get into spaces and after paying £20 noticed car park over road for half the price. room service as stated on booking.com is not available. no food to room and no breakfast in room. location just a bit too far for walking to centre. told if bar closed when we get back the porters can still get our drinks.. at 11.15 we got back and told no drinks. wouldn’t pay the high price for this room again.

Lovely place - thank you for a very pleasant and easy stay

This was a lovely quirky hotel. Colourful and clean with parking. The room was clean and tidy, and the shower was beautiful. The bathroom was clean and came with ample toiletries and decent-sized towels. Tea and coffee were available, as well as water in the room. The room we stayed in wasn't big but cosy and suitable for our length of stay. We also ate at the restaurant that is also onsite, with lovely food and great cocktails. The staff were amiable and helpful; they also sent us away with cookies and water for our journey home - thank you.
