We were back to move into a new apartment and this was a great location to APP. The hot tub is great. Forgot my hair dryer. Would definitely pick this nice cabin again.

Great cabin in a really cute little neighborhood with a beautiful view. It was perfectly situated between Boone and Blowing rock. The property is definitely cheap only because supplies are super limited. There’s really nothing to use in the kitchen like you would see at the average VRBO. Hot water was hard to come by in the upstairs bathroom and there is some black mold on the ceiling. Other than that, just come prepared with your own supplies for the house! :)

We just returned home from a great weekend at the Boots Off Bungalow. A family of 6, plus our old hound dog! We loved the hot tub, the views from the porch of sunset over the valley were spectacular, and the location was incredibly close to everything we wanted to do. We hope to stay here again!

Super comfortable mountain cabin
This is a great getaway mountain cabin. We worked remote during our week, played tennis at nearby App State, fished nearby as well. It's super comfortable and decorated as you'd hope a cabin would be. The solid wifi made remote work super easy.

Excellent location!
We very much enjoyed our stay this past week. The house is close to everything yet nestled in a quiet and well maintained neighborhood. There is plenty of space both indoors and outdoors for everyone. Roads and driveway are all paved and super easy to navigate. Our only suggestions for the owners are 1) replace the upstairs mattress. There is a huge hole on one side where anyone who sleeps there sinks way down 2) Have some household cleaners available like Windex. There were none in the home. 3) We had to purchase some pots for the kitchen which we left there. The existing ones were so worn and damaged we couldn't use them. All in all, we would definitely stay there again and had a fantastic time!!

Weekend getaway
We had a lovely time at this property! Perfect setup for my family! Pool table was fun! Hot tub was lovely! Kitchen was well equipped! Just missing grill utensils and grill cleaner. The master bed mattress was very uneven. Other than that all great! A lovely cozy cabin! Will be back :)

Great Cabin
Had everything we needed. Kitchen well stocked with cookware. Kids and adults loved the hot tub. Only 10 minutes from the Gamekeeper restaurant - highly recommend making reservations for a fabulous meal!

Fantastic location and wonderful house, especially for a small group. There are so many different places to relax and plenty of space for a group. Great WiFi for remote work, too!

Great house, great location
We stayed at the Boots Up Bungalow this past weekend and really enjoyed ourselves, especially since we had snow upon arrival and at times throughout our stay, with a big snow the morning we left.
The house is in a cute neighborhood, almost a rural setting, but only minutes from Boone (grocery stores, restaurants, downtown). Our teenage boys went to Sugar Mountain each day to snowboard-it's probably a 25 minute drive, which is not bad.
The house is very clean, with nice beds and bedding. Everyone had plenty of room to spread out and there is a tv in every room if each person wanted their own space to watch tv. The hot tub was on and ready when we arrived, which was really nice. The boys were able to play pool downstairs after a day of snowboarding.
I would recommend that the kitchen be stocked a little more. We wanted to fry eggs one morning and there was no metal spatula. Most of the kitchen cabinets and drawers are bare, so just some simple updating would be nice.....more cooking utensils, hot pads (there was one), dish towels (also just one) and glasses. More bath towels would be nice (no wash clothes on hand). Last thing, sorry.....during the winter, I would recommend leaving a snow shovel downstairs. It would have been nice to shovel pathways to our cars and off the stairs, because it was a bit precarious, particularly if you were carrying luggage or groceries.
All in all, it was a great place to stay and we would recommend it!

Loved the location and the ease of access to Boone. The cabin was very comfortable and a great play to relax and disconnect. We were fortunate to see snow and several deer. What I see needs attention is the mattress in the master suite and the sofa bed on the ground level. It is time for new mattresses!! Also, the cabin was dusty and floors and carpet were not well cleaned. Also, when we arrived there was no toilet paper on the day we checked in the bathroom.

Really good location and amenities. Please upgrade the appliances, the fridge leaks water inside , dishwasher is super loud and the stove top is all uneven. Also, add more light to the bathroom downstairs.

The Cabin was fantastic. Everything worked like is should have and the kitchen was well stocked. The cabin was very clean and the hot tub was great. It was in a neighborhood and they were very friendly to all of us. We rode down on our motorcycles and we were able to ride all the wonderful curvy scenic roads in both Carolina and Virginia. Would highly recommend to all riders for the driveway wasn't too steep and it was close to the Parkway to get to all roads.

Wonderful Stay!
We had a wonderful stay at Boots Off Bungalow last week! It was the perfect size for our family and the location is very convenient to everything but still out in the country. We so enjoyed having our morning coffee and taking in views from the large front porch. The hot tub was super relaxing after a long day of hiking too!
We had a maintenance issue with the garbage disposal, but the Carolina Cabins maintenance man was very friendly and took care of things for us.
We definitely will keep it on our list for a return visit in the future!!

Not enough lighting. Probably should change to LED bulbs. Provide a broom and dust pan. The stairs leading to the upper deck had broken glass when we arrived. It appears that the large black trash bag was dragged on the deck and a splinter caught the bag because you can see a piece of the bag. Could use several kitchen wash towels and drying towels. I think you should at least provide five dishwasher pods and a couple of washing machine pods. This is the first home that I have stayed in that has not provided a large supply of the two mentioned

Great Getaway
This cabin is fabulous. It has plenty of space and even a little fenced in area for your pooch to sniff around. The decor is great and has the mountain feel. The beds were comfy and the location is great too. We plan to come back next year. Make sure you bring any paper products and bags (including doggie bags) you might need, and a lighter for the Fireplace, salt pepper, cooking supplies etc other than pots pans, dishes etc. There are many steps so a great place to stay if you can climb steps with no problem. We look forward to going back next year!
