Breakfast perfect. A small cooked breakfast was requested and this was supplied. Room and bed very comfortable. Car parking a bonus. Would recommend and use again. Thank you.
Would have preferred a walk in shower but the room we booked had a bath, so we were well aware.
4.3
good location, safe parking
blinds need some attention as light early morning floods the room

Breakfast was lovely. Good choice and nicely cooked. The location was excellent and a short walk from Buxton centre. The bed was comfortable and I had 2 good nights of sleep.
Toilet squashed in so a bit awkward but overall not a huge issue.

Everything was brilliant, would highly recommend

Great location, comfortable bed and staff friendly without being intrusive. Would definitely stay again, made a great base to explore the Peak District.

Rupert and Caroline are shy, friendly & helpful host and hostess. They cook a delicious hot breakfast and provide cereals, porridge, jam, juices & fruit salad too). Optional toasts, soya milk and vegetarian alternatives are also available.
The process of submitting our breakfast requirements the day/evening before with the form provided after housekeeping every day, is very efficient. Therefore, you don't have to have the same breakfast, if you choose not to.
They provide nearby area tourist information leaflets and umbrellas, if needed.
The free onsite car park is also helpful. There seems to be a whiff of Jasmine flowers (?) in the morning when we go out to our car.
The little black cat ornament in the front garden is so cute too!
The interior of the B&B is tastefully decorated with mirrors, flowers, ornaments and lovely paintings, including in the breakfast dining area.
The black and white floor tiles in the hallway reminds me of a scene in Alice in Wonderland!
The rooms are spacious, beds and blankets are warm and comfortable. The curtains are suitably thick enough to block out the lights from the outside, in the early morning. Although you can/will be woken up by the singing birds.
The heating for the shower and radiators are sufficient to keep us warm.
The outside street is quiet (at least in the month of January when we stayed).
The WiFi, complimentary tea/coffee/biscuits as well as the shower and toilet facilities (with complimentary shampoo and conditioner gels, body wash gel and shower cap) are also very good.
Our room no.8 is on the 1st floor and it has a separate toilet/sink room and a separate shower room. A hair dryer is also available in the drawer. There are enough plug sockets for plugging in your electronic devices and rechargers.
We could hear the creaking floors and snoring from upstairs at night time.

The location was perfect. The selection of hot drinks in the room and the crockery was brilliant. Little lovely touches throughout room. Breakfast was fantastic. The towels in the room were huge and both the towels and bedlinen were immaculate and smelt amazing.
The lid of the toilet seat wasn't clean.

Too hot but easily remedied by turning the radiator thermostat down.

Great location within easy walking distance of Buxton. Close to pubs/restaurants for evening meals. Large room with TV and plenty of storage. Bathroom had shower and bath and full set of complimentary toiletries. Superb choice of menu, pre-ordered on previous evening and freshly cooked. Very friendly hosts.
Can't think of anything.

Absolutely lovely b&b! Owners were friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and well equipped, lovely hot and powerful shower and a comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious. Great location for walking into Buxton and good to have off road parking. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to anybody wanting to stay in Buxton.

Breakfast-Lovely, plenty to choose from, discovered a new cereal l like. No faults everything was well presented. Liked choosing the night before, also could choose time to eat.
Large area on site to park.
The noise of the bathroom fan from the room next door especially the first 4/5 nights, it woke me late every night and would be on for hours.
4.3
The breakfast is very good and cooked well and the room I stayed in was very clean.
Parking facilities to front of property where trees are overgrown from next door caused dirt to the top of my car.
4.3
The decor and furnishings were beautiful, the room was clean and warm, bathroom sparkling and was able to park on the premises in front of the building itself.
The street was very quiet and the stunning curtains blocked out the daylight, enabling a good night sleep.
Within easy reach of pubs and restaurants and a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Buxton.
Breakfast was brilliant, providing good quality cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurts. Followed by a cooked breakfast of your choice and toast. Great care was taken in quality and presentation in absolutely everything
If I wanted to be really, really picky, then the bathroom floor was noisy. (room 2) It has been tiled and not quite sure why it creaked?
Certainly wouldn’t stop us from staying there again though.

Everything about 9 Green Lane was to a ver high standard. The house was immaculately clean and very tastefully decorated. The room was spacious, very comfortable and the en suite had an excellent shower. Breakfast was excellent. Located very close to a number of bars and restaurants as well as easy walking distance to the town. We would highly recommend this B&B to other travellers. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, with some great tips if what to see.
Nothing not to like
4.3
Breakfasts were excellent, as was the quality of the linen in the bedroom and bathroom. The hosts were very hospitable and friendly, helpful with advice on where to go and where to eat.
The beds in our twin room could, for us at least, have had more comfortable mattresses.
