Everything was good, location and stuff were amazing

The location was interesting - in the old medina - but not easy to find. The room was large and looked beautiful, as did the rest of the riad. The breakfast was exceptional and seemed to be available whenever we woke up. The staff were super friendly and helpful.
One problem we found was the lack of anywhere to sit in the room. Even the bed was incased in a wooden frame, making it impossible to sit on comfortably, and there seemed to be no chairs to speak of. The beautiful-looking shower also needed some maintenance.

a very tradition building with a spacious room. was very quite at night, which is good for you to take a nice rest.
be ware, especially you are travelling alone, the shifting paths to the riad can be full
of tourists scams, which is mentally annoying and stressful.
But it has nothing to do with the riad itself.

The patio is absolutely impressive. Only to have breakfast in it makes the whole experience worthy.
But above all, the staff is what makes the difference. First of all, we made a mistake when doing the booking: they were communicative and helpful all the way through. They sorted it out trusting us as we had to cancel and make another reservation.
The breakfast service is splendid. They are attentive, they speak several languages, they take good care of their guests.
Breakfast is copious and marocain style. Delicious bread and eggs.
The rooms and obviously looking dated because it is a Riad with hundreds of years, but the restoration has been well done and the rooms are looking good. The beds are really comfortable.
Everything is perfect.
Be aware it's not very easy to find, but again, it is worthy to look for.
There is a man waiting at the door at the look of lost guests and giving a hand with the luggage.

- outstanding position in the heart of the Medina
- the hotel is housed in an original traditional home (Riad)
- very spacious and comfortable rooms
- shuttle service from/to the airport
- next to the hotel there is an Hammam: don't miss it!
- due to an overbooking we reiceived (for the firtst night only) a room different than the one we booked. The manager of the structure proposed us a compensation. Ok.

Friendly staff, luxurious rooms.
They need to combat the cold.

I had problems with the manager of the Riad, which was very unpleasant experience for me
1. He asked me to pay the day before departure by 3 o'clock (without explanation), so I couldn't enjoy my stay on the last day in Fes
2. He tried to charge me 26 euros more, with the explanation that he is obliged to pay Booking.com's commission.
3. I was asked to pay in cash, even though Riad accepts cards.
I lost more than half an hour while the negotiation was going on, with screaming on the phone and unacceptable behavior

Abundant traditional Moroccan breakfast! We were a mother and daughter traveling together, and the women of the household became friends. The men of the household helped with our luggage and logistics, and were very respectful.
The second bed in our room was a converted sofa and was lumpy.

This palais is a wonderful place. We love everything their hospitality, their service, their staff, their honesty. Would love to come this place again and again.
The palais is near to one of the gate of Medina old town. It's around 20 mins walk to Blue gate and 18 mins walk to Caraven.
