The two females working during dayshift were wonderful.
Our second stay was in a room that smelled HORRIBLE---moldy. We asked to change rooms and were told no, there were none. We had windows and hall door open as much as possible, but it was terrible.

Absolutely everything!!!!! The place is more beautiful than the pictures show too!! The location was perfect the rooms were so amazing and very clean. From the driver who picked us up at the airport to the reception staff to the the hotel staff and even the owner, such fabulous people and service, do helpful always! The terrace was comfortable with beautiful views and a wonderful big breakfast every morning( the ladies who served it were so lovely too). The staff carried our bags up to our rooms and we could have tea served to us at anytime and the sitting area in the Center of the Riad was so beautiful and peaceful with areas to sit at. The air conditioning was perfect as were the showers and the area was so peaceful at night too. We all felt very safe and very happy, just a very calm setting every day. This was my favourite place we stayed at in our travels throughout Morocco!!!
It was all so wonderful, thank you! ◡̈

Authentic and filled with beautiful traditional furniture and artworks.
Striking tiling throughout. Dining in rooftop Restaurant was unique, serving delicious Moroccon dishes.
Outstanding service starting with a greeting of mint tea and homemade cookies.
Absolutely nothing to not like about the place, the service or the food.

Cozy and nicely decorated rooms, excellent and super helpful staff, good location in a quiet neighborhood but still very close to restaurants and market.
All good

The staff was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, we were spoilt with different delicious dishes every day and it was always served with a smile.
At the end of our stay we were asked to pay in cash. I would rather have used a credit card.

We enjoyed our stay at Dar Fes Medina Ziat. It was very clean and the rooms were a reasonable size . The staff were very helpful organising side trips, taxis to/from the station.
There wasn't always someone at the front desk but this wasn't a big problem because they were always responsive if you called the number or via WhatsApp.

bathroom was a little small, but it was a riad not a hotel, breakfast was great as was the staff too!

The dinner was fantastic - you can't beat the quality of the food or the ambiance! All the salads were vegetarians and there were good vegetarian entre options. Breakfast was very good and filling, as well. The interior of the riad was gorgeous and a field trip of its own. Iman, the host, was kind and full of tips and advice. I wish we could have stayed longer!
I can't think of a single thing to complain about. It's a gem of a riad!

Absolute gem in Fes! After an embarrassing amount of time researching on airbnb and booking.com we are SO GLAD we picked this one. Fantastic price for the accommodations and the people create a truly lovely and welcoming vibe. After a lot of travel, I needed a rest day and they took care of me like family. Do not hesitate to stay here! (Special thank you to the beautiful Iman and the kind owner - such incredible hospitality!)
Also, heads up there is another riad with almost the same name so make sure you include the full name when searching/booking. We had a friend want to stay here after we sent pictures but he accidentally booked at the other one and was very disappointed.

Location: in medina, but less then 10 min walking to the hustle and bustle of stalls and street vendors. A quiet neighbourhood.
Tasty breakfast.
Everything is really clean.
Nice and comfortable bed and pillow.
Nice staff, really helpfull, especially Imane. They can organise taxi from/to the airport for you, as well as trips to Blue city and Meknes&Volubilis.

The hospitality of the Fez is unbeatable. Imane was such a great and kind host; she helped us in getting to know Fez and arranged our excursion to Chefchaouen. The room was incredibly spacious and clean. We particularly enjoyed the moroccan mint tea that we could order anytime. The breakfast was also absolutely delicious. Last but not least, we were beyond glad to order our last lunch in Morocco in Dar Fes Medina. It was the best food we’ve ever had in Morocco!
None.

nice rooms and breakfast, very nice staff, old city easily reachable by foot
it is close to a mosque, so little bit noisy for some minutes at night … but we want to see real marigolds, that‘s like it is

the ryad is a 10 minute walk from the blue door (main attraction of the Medina). I advise you to prepare the route already as the roads are all different and winding and you will not be bothered by the inhabitants who, although kind, do nothing for free 😅. the rooms are spacious clean but I would add a trash can. the availability and kindness of Imane as well as of all the staff made our stay pleasant and free of unexpected events

Absolutely loved our stay here! The staff were so friendly and helpful, the free breakfast delicious, the location great (in a quiet area inside the Medina) and the place itself... Wow! Beautifully decorated.
We ended up staying an extra night just because we enjoyed our stay so much.
I highly recommend having dinner here. The food was the best we had in our 2 week stay in Morocco.
This is definitely THE place to stay in Fès!

Imane, Mohammed and all the staff members at this hotel are amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay. The hotel is beautiful and comfortable, and the breakfast and dinner are delicious! We travelled around Morocco and Dar Fes Medina was the best hotel that we had stayed in by far! We wish we could have stayed longer! 10/10
We would have preferred to pay by credit card, but we were able to pay via PayPal instead.

We are absolutely in love with Dar Fes Medina riad!! 🥰 Without any doubt that is the place to be if you want a perfect stay in Fes. The riad is close to the entrance of medina, a 10-15 minutes walk from the Blue gate and all the restorants near by.
The owner Mohamed sat for a chat with us, accompanied with the traditional morrocan mint tea of course. The receptionist Imen helped us a lot with the plan of our visit. A spacial thanks goes out to the other receptionist (Samir? 🙈) who was very polite and helpfull with all of our questions. We booked 3 tours via riad and we were very pleased with them. The rooms were clean and spacious, with air conditioning. The breakfast was perfect, we also had dinner on the rooftop of our riad and it was a lovely experience. Many thanks to all the riad staff, we would recommend it anytime! 😉
We have no complaints😁

Room was clean and had all the amenities you need to make your stay comfortable
Breakfast was great, I asked for Moroccan breakfast and food was served fresh
Location was great with a 15 min walk to Medina bazar
What I really liked was that they gave me a key to the hotel/Riad so I could come and go at my convenience. Now, that made me feel at home like I was in a friends/relative's house.
Parking was an issue. I recommend that you use public mode of transportation as it is readily available rather than renting a car. I found a parking spot on the street but the hotel manager asked me to move it to a parking garage (10 Dirham/night) as it was much safer there
