Staff was excellent from the front area to the restaurant
Food was delicious.
Staff arranged several guides which worked very well.
Not a big deal but seemed like the larger suite was missing some furniture as no table to have tea or coffee and no trash can except in bathroom

The hotel is on the edge of a construction site, and the sound of the construction site can be heard in the room. The staff are not very skilled. During dinner, the service was slow and the checkout was slow.

it was a good location but the price was a bit steep for what you got.
They didn't really offer much in a way of facilities. I guess my expectation was a bit high as I see the work Palais, meaning palace.

I did like the location and how everything was.
I didn't like that fitness room was unavailable that was the main reason I choose the hotel. The security wouldn't let me use the 2nd door even though it was quicker then going to the main lobby. Also the power wouldn't turn on had to use main living light to turn the rest of the room and for the outlet.

Very nice hotel! Decoration in the inside was beautiful! shame the rooftop doesn’t open until later but had a great time.
This person which welcomes you into the parking and hotel is fabulous! His name is Omar and he is a local guide from the city, he doesn’t work with the hotel but he is 100% trust worthy and knows much more than anyone they try to offer you. He knows the best spots for everything, literally, he can organize anything for you.
Anyway, beautiful city, a must see, hotel and guiding did it for us!

the room looked nice
view from the terrace is nice, if they clean the windows
since it’s a “5 star” hotel in the Medina, scammers will wait either at a parking lot near the hotel or by the entrance of the hotel to follow you wherever you go telling you that it’s dangerous to walk around without a guide, even after you dismiss them and the hotel told us to just ignore them, that they couldn’t do anything.
the pool is freezing cold since it gets probably one-two hours of sun a day.
don’t even bother with the Hammam there, overpriced and a joke.
