Stunning apartment with everything you could need. Kitchen facilities great, living and dining areas, loads of space. Decent gym facilities
Some tiny imperfections but nothing that should put you off

De grootte van het appartement
De douche en de bedden waren erg smal. De locatie van het appartement was wat armoedig.

I'll be definitely staying here again. It was really nice, it felt like I was at home
I liked everything. No complaints

The location was convenient but the neighborhood is rough. The loft was spacious and pretty clean, coffee was well stocked.
The neighborhood around the property had a lot of trash and vagrants. We had 5 guests and only 2 bottles of water were provided which seemed odd. The front door was ill-fitted to the frame so once inside the deadbolt didn’t always work. Master bath had some moldy calking.

The on-site staff were kind and helpful, even if the property management staff were not.
It was disgusting. Grime, dirt, hair, old food. It looked as if no one had cleaned it in weeks short of changing the sheets. We got in late from a show we were seeing in the area and assumed the room would be clean so we got ready for bed (about 11 pm). Not long after we started to notice that the bathroom was dirty. As we looked around it got worse- actual grime, food particles, hair, and fifth everywhere except seemingly the bedrooms. We reported it, and by the time they responded the offer we got was moving to another room. At after 11 pm, with both of us already in bed and having already cleaned a bathroom for basic use, that was an unhelpful response. Then they offered $25 for breakfast... $25+ I didn't plan to spend because I would have cooked my meals in the full kitchen they advertised we had, except it was filthy. Given that the hallways, stairs, elevators, lobby, etc were all dirty too, I find it unlikely we would have found anywhere clean. Very disappointed, especially with how property management handled the situation. I reported again the next morning and they decided to credit me back the $25- my time and clorox Wipes to clean the unit were worth more than that. If that's what their cleanliness and customer experience is worth then no wonder it was so dirty in there. We left early and couldn't even bring ourselves to shower first. At least the beds were clean and there was a nice view, but I wouldn't book it for those two features at even a fifth of the price for how dirty it was. Will never stay at one of the sosuite properties again, and I recommend you consider a different property as well.

I like how clean and updated the space was. I also enjoyed the in unit washer and dryer and the large space.
The location seemed to be in a not nice area.

Nice views of the city, spacious room
Interior design can be more cohesive. Appliances need fixing. More instructions and setting expectations of the kind of building and place it is.

The staff was great. The restaurant in the building was very beneficial. We were there for a medical procedure for my daughter and so we took dinner up to her in our room when she got out of the hospital.
The location was good. Otherwise it was perfect and the location was fine. We just had to go a little ways to see the sites, but it wasn’t far to independence, hall, etc. great concept I wish you had more of them and other cities I travel to. Thank you
The only thing I can think of is, we could’ve used one more chair in the living room because my daughter had surgery on her legs and she had to recoup on the couch and took up most of it. Otherwise, it was a great place.

The location seemed great
I recently had an extended stay at SoSuite at the Independence Lofts, and I am compelled to share my deeply disappointing and alarming experience. I hope this review serves as a dire warning to future guests and a wake-up call to SoSuite for the unspeakable harm they have caused.
**1. Lack of Management Transparency:**
From the moment I checked in until my unwelcome departure, the lack of management transparency was glaringly apparent. There was no clear chain of command or anyone to take ownership of issues. The only recourse for guests, whom SoSuite coldly refers to as "customers," was to call a centralized call center—often unanswered—and then resort to texting. This lack of accountability is unacceptable, leaving guests stranded and helpless when problems arise.
**2. Noise Disturbances:**
For the first three weeks of my stay, I was placed next to a family with a special needs child who screamed loudly at all hours. While I was empathetic to their situation, I requested a solution, such as soundproofing or a move to a similar apartment. My requests were ignored, and the only offer made was to downgrade me to a smaller, less equipped apartment without any refund or price adjustment. This again highlighted the absence of any accountability or concern for guest comfort.
**3. Illegal Taxation and Eviction:**
After staying for more than 30 days, I legally became entitled to a long-term resident lease and the cessation of hotel taxes being collected. When I requested a lease, I was flatly refused, and the illegal taxation continued. I was told to resolve the issue with the tax office, which I fully intend to do, along with filing a complaint with the Philadelphia Housing Commission. Shockingly, management then retaliated by issuing an illegal self-help eviction, giving me just 16 hours to vacate the premises, a blatant violation of tenant rights.

The apt was clean on arrival and all basic things needed to living for a couple of days were provided
The check in was ridiculously complicated and to intrusive, that I wonder if my identity was stolen while I was trying to verify it. To many steps. Plus like all other hotels why not have a 24hr front desk presence to verify all who are checking in. People still need to see people when entering a space. If it wasn’t for the front desk person calming me down through the arduous process to check in my next thought was to get a refund and check in to a real hotel.

Appartement spacieux et bien équipé. Peu bruyant. Literie confortable.

The ammenities were great, The view from the appartment very nice.
The procedures to check in. I could never open the link in several devices. Never could get the code for the appartment. Furthermore, the procedure for the deposit was a nightmare. The reason we were given is that my address is not correct. It would be interesting to tell that to my bank. We spent 2 hours just trying to make the deposit with several credit cards. However the staff at the desk, Steve among them, were very supportive and helpful.

Loved the location, history of the building and ease of getting around the city. Loved valet parking and Parker super nice. Loved the reception desk personnel. Loved the kitchen and bathroom w 1 exception.
PLEASE sit on tge sofa and sleep in the bed.sofa is so low and SO u co.fortable you don't want to spend time there. Bed was super soft w a valley in the center. No sleep. Bathroom sink...when yiu bend to brush your teeth medicine cabinet hits your head...maybe recess it? The bed and sofa rated a 1 in a 1 to 10. But, loved the value, cleanliness, staff and location. It's a shame you can't clean up the look of the wi dows across the courtyard..we were 237...they had broken blinds, just looked bad. Not sure it's part of your hotel under reno or what. You have an awesome concept.

Great vibe, close to freeway.
Lots of damage to walls. The main bathroom door had been broken and roughly repaired but didn’t lock. Curtains looked nice but didn’t close to keep heat in and light out in bedrooms.

Garage seemed a little shady but they provided so much security that I got over that quickly

I looked for the unit at night and it was my first time in the area so I got a little lost. I was initially worried that the unit was in a rough area but it turned out OK. I would definitely come back. The unit was close to the gym I used to run on a treadmill and after checkout I enjoyed my walk to the Rocky statue and beautiful park
Perhaps a staff member could be at the site a little longer. I had no problems getting into the unit with the excellent information I was given. I am not used to checking into my place with codes but it turned out well. The person who I texted on the phone with was very friendly.

The building was nice and the room was comfortable and clean.
One of the worst customer service experiences ever in a hotel stay.
The check-in process is online-only. This was an apartment building, and although there was someone at the front desk, they were UNABLE to help us at all. Among other things, the check-in process required me to give personal information, including home address/zip code, credit card (even though I already paid), and to take a picture of my drivers license as well as a selfie in real time. I could not upload a photo that I already had. I had had COVID the previous weekend and was uncomfortable taking my mask off indoors, so I took a masked selfie. This wasn't acceptable though, and even though I uploaded a photo of my drivers license as well as given credit card information that was in my name, we didn't get access to the room. Even with the person at the front desk being on the phone with SoSuite people and telling them that I was standing in front of him and was clearly the person I was saying I was, I STILL wasn't able to check-in. Instead, I was told that if I was uncomfortable removing my mask indoors that I should go outside (it was pouring rain and after 9 PM) to take the selfie. I will add that there was a sign inside saying masks were mandatory in the building, but I digress. They also wanted the personal information of my boyfriend who was with me, even though the reservation was in my name.
One should simply be able to reserve and pay for a room, show up, and check-in without all this excess nonsense! It's a serious privacy violation to require guests to upload all this personal information to an online portal using a network that is probably not the most secure. That, and not having a person onsite able to help with these types of situations is absurd. There was a front desk with a person, but they weren't "allowed" to help SoSuite guests even though they didn't seem busy with anything else and had access to our reservation information.

The room was very well presented, high ceilings and large windows with excellent views. As described. Location was good in terms of distance from Center City (20 minutes walk or c$10 in Uber/Lyft) although it didn’t feel the safest of neighbourhoods. I walked during daylight hours (& in truth had no problems) and took taxi when dark.
Given that the neighbourhood didn’t feel the safest I had some worries re security (it was great that reception was manned although not sure if they’d stop tailgaters). To make it perfect / higher rating I’d have welcomed a simple inside bolt on the door (as per hotels) so would feel safer at night & ideally an in room safe.

It was very cute w a nice view. Nice stay and prompt service. Restaurant /bar downstairs.
Not that it could be helped but narrow streets, lots of one ways and difficulty finding street parking. Kind of on the cusp of an ok area it feels like. I do fee based on area and safety of guests cars, parking should be complementary in private lot with your stay.

Comfortable bed. Good location for me. Clean. Washing machine and dryer are a huge plus
The coffee machine didn’t work properly. It would be nice to have some way of blocking light better as the bed is right in front of the window

Proximity to a subway station
Nice loft with everything you need
Easy check in
Access to parking for a reasonable price (20$/day)
The neighborhood is changing. There were some very nice restaurants (breakfast, mexican, ...), but also some vacant lots and other abandoned buildings. It still felt safe at night! We kept on the main roads thought.
It was also a little difficult to get the wifi password since we had no cell service in the US to receive the information. There was someone at the lobby 24/7 which was great and he was able to help us.

This would've been my 3rd stay at SoSuite, so obviously I love it. The amenities are wonderful, location is great, and staff is diligent and responsive.
There was an issue with the shower head pressure that was not looked into, and I was very disappointed but no deal breaker:).

We booked 3 apartments in total. The space was wonderful as in size.
Felt like AirBnb. There were roaches all over the room, coming out of the stink. The whole apartment was infested with roaches. We complained and were able to get help the next day by getting another apartment and $75 in credit. The floors were very dirty, it appeared clean but once you see your feet it was VERY dirty. There was a foul smell in the lobby. Parking was fine for 5 days we spent $90 for parking using the link they provided. There is free street parking but the streets are very small likelihood of finding any free spot is very hard. Towels were limited.
