Inexpensive and location to train station is perfect.
Compact but maybe the bathroom is a little too compact for my liking.

A regular stop for family visits.
All we need for a short stay.Right next to station.
All essentials to self cater.
Suits our needs, but appreciate some would find the small wet room/ toilet arrangement a little inconvenient.
The quite deep metal staircase to the top flat could also be an issue to some.
Parking can be difficult at times.

Self contained, and had everything we needed for our stay.
Toilet/wet room combination.
The toilet is beyond the shower, and the equipment provided to mop the floor following a shower does not dry it, meaning my partner, who needed the loo after I’d showered, got very wet socks 😱

Great location ; just 3 minutes walk from railway station and only 15 minutes walk to the beach and the pier 👌
We struggled adjusting the water temperature in the shower ( but it wasn’t unduly inconvenient

Communication with the Bakehouse was excellent. Self check in was effortless. Proximity to shops, restaurants etc was very good. Bed very comfortable. With a few small changes, this property would be absolutely perfect.
Cooking facilities were not great. Pots and pans could do with updating. Table and chairs outside were not fit to sit on they were covered with dirt and cobwebs not cleaned. Chairs in the lounge were not very comfortable. Wardrobe sliding door could do with being looked at as it was sticking.

The location was perfect for exploring the sea front.
The shower and the toilet were combined, and this isn't a space-saving solution that I was in favour of.. It was ok once we got used to it,but it was not ideal.

I liked that it had its own secure courtyard for dogs.
The bed was very comfortable.
The location was good for the train station.
Fantastic and fast communication from the owners.
Would of liked to park the car outside the property and see it.
Would of liked the ability to put up a stair gate so the dogs could not go into the bedroom.
In 2 corners of the courtyard mud had been swept into so the dogs were very interested in that when we 1st arrived.
Unfortunately a short notice the water board turned off the mains water. There was a major fault in the town. But that effected all properties not just the Bake House. The owners were very helpful and offered us a different accommodation but we had already decided to go home.

Good communications with caretaker and owner. Got replacement heater almost immediately after reporting heater not working then heating quickly rectified. On street parking with permit. External space for pooch. Washing machine. Able to cook easily. Comfy chairs.
Shower over loo means the floor is wet for a lot of the time. Wet feet, or socks in winter.

The location was okay for us - visiting family we simply wanted somewhere to stay near to them that was available on specific dates. The accommodation was small but adequate for our needs.
Parking was okay in the end but difficult. The owners registered us for a digital parking permit that enabled us to park within a zone around the property but at times it was hard to find a spot and caused some stress.
The bed was some kind of memory foam and it meant sleeping got quite hot, even in midwinter.

Good location for visiting family in area. Comfortable, compact ground floor studio which met our expectations and needs.
The drainage in the wet room could have been better. Even using the shower water gently, it still seeped out under the door because of poor drainage.

Loved our stop here. The apartment is very comfortable and warm and close to all the shops

Lovely apartment everything you needed was there comfortable bed great value for the money we paid had a enjoyable stay would definitely book again
The floor could of been sweeped better there were a lot of sand underneath the mat lights were really dusty and lots of spiders in corner of room also a used dish cloth left under the sink

Location was amazing, flat had everything you needed
The heater didn't work, but was fixed and the shower couldn't be turned down, however the owner did offer us a different accommodation

location and facilities.
the people upstairs were very loud and they came home in the early hours and woke us up. they then got up at 6.30am on Sunday and again woke us up.

Good location for getting into town, the place was clean and tidy. The instruction booklet was pretty handy to understand various parts of the apartment. Although small it didn't feel cramped and the outside area is a nice little touch. .
The pillows are terrible, if the owner is reading this please spend a few quid on new ones it's not much to ask. Customers If you are planning on staying here and can bring your own pillow(s) do this.
The hand held shower head needs a good clean as limescale has built up and blocked the nozzles.

Very good location. Quiet, easy to park close by. Close to town 10mins, and seafront 15mins Walking. Clean and comfy. Loved the reclining chairs and comfy bed. Nice little courtyard. Couple of mins walk from train station which after 9am was very cheap and only about 25mins from Brighton. Shower not a problem for us. Had everything we needed both in and nearby the bakehouse. Despite being close to train station we didn't find it noisy at all. Very happy with our stay 🙂
All good, nothing really to dislike.

A lovely old building, converted and furnished really well. It was perfect for what we needed, very comfortable and ideal for our elderly dog.
Not very clean and the bedding needs updating. It felt a bit unloved with minimum effort to make you feel welcome. We had a flood on to our bed from the upstairs apartment (shower) early one morning. These things happen but the owners didn’t seem to care or even offer an apology.

It was clean and well equipped. the owner was quick to respond
The location really isn’t great - by the railway line. The outside area is a yard which is overlooked. It’s very small, the TV is in a peculiar place low on one wall and the 2 cooking rings aren’t great to use.

property had everything we needed. convenient for wedding we were attending locally.
Your cleaner could do a better job. The sink was grubby, the cupboard under the sink needed a clean out. the bin needed cleaning and the floor was swept but not clean and the outside patio neferded sweeping. The bedding looked as if it hadn’t been changed. none of these points spoilt our stay but they they were things that affect the impression .
3.5
The first floor apartment was well equipped and convenient for our needs, though a good walk to the centre and seafront.
The shower/WC room is awkward.. Small, and the shower was impossible to turn down to cool. I think the thermostat was defective..
