Fairy tale cottage, lovely secure gardens, very comfortable, clean, beautiful area
Cottage very cold when we arrived, not enough free logs considering the time of year.

Very friendly hosts. Comfortable bed. Reasonably priced.
House is old, smelly and feels cramped. Poor connection from inside to the garden.

Very pretty cottage, comfortable, tasteful decor. Beautiful garden with comfortable seating.
Moreton village is delightful, the walled garden is gorgeous and their cafe does excellent food.
I liked everything about the property.
I guess if you were very tall, low ceilings or had difficulty getting up a narrow staircase, it might not be for you, but then it is a lovely one bedroom thatched cottage.

Great location as not too close to all tourist hot spots but close enough to enjoy the coast, walks etc. Charming cottage with very good space to enjoy. We really liked it.
Nothing to complain from our side

Lack of storage in the kitchen for food

The peaceful location, beautiful cottage, lovely garden and great to access coast. Comfortable bed
Everything was great!
4.7
The remote location and quietness
Nice neighbours in primrose cabin
Would still like to return for another stay as overall presentation and location are 5 star
Bathroom - bath 3/4 size with shower screen making it hard to reach control's, also because of screen limited access to bath to which I struggled because of knee replacement hip problems, no grab rails to help.
On exit to road, view to the right totally obscured by high grass so very hazardous as you cannot see another car coming down lane

Excellent location, Picture book Dorset cottage with everything you need for a couple with a dog. Dog loved the garden, partner was over the moon having a dish washer, bed was excellent (though we were very tired by the end of each day) Log burner lovely plenty of hot water, easy to find. Remote but not really. Got to say Dorset is very under rated, an hours drive for us! Vac and cleaning gear on hand so no excuse to leave it dirty Highly rated by us
I was very happy so will only add missus missed a coffee table for her chocolate, First gate a little fiddly as latch twisted slightly (easy once you get the hang) and watch your head ..............These are not negatives as very happy with our stay

The cottage was really lovely. Very snug and cosy, which was just as we expected. The bed was really comfortable and the wood burner was brilliant, with an ample supply of logs (often you get one basket and have to pay extra for more - so this was a bonus). The kitchen was well equipped, although tiny and the garden area was big and mostly secure - although our JRT did manage to get through the bushes, which was a bit of a worry with chickens the other side. The location was very quite and a really good base for exploring the Dorset coastline and Dorchester by car.
The downstairs bathroom was a bit of pain if you need to use the toilet during the night, especially as the staircase is quite small and steep. I appreciate there is no room for a toilet upstairs, but bear this in mind before booking as the cottage might not be suitable for everyone. Also the toilet was very cold so a radiator or some underfloor heating in there would be a nice addition. The kitchen is very small, which is fine, but there are no cupboards to store any food in, so it all has to be stacked on the side next to the sink. My advice would therefore be not to take too much food with you. One other thing is that there is no shop or pub within a safe walking distance. I appreciate it is a country cottage and having no immediate facilities close by is often the norm and the pub is only a mile away (the shop a mile further on), but there are no pavements or street lighting if you want to walk. During the summer months and lighter evenings this would probably be ok, but this is definitely something to bear in mind when booking a winter break, as one of you will need to drive if you want to dine out.

The cottage looked beautiful, well equipped, great garden and ideal location for exploring Dorset.
The kitchen was quite limited on space, as it is an old cottage but it did have everything we needed

Picturesque quaint cottage in a great location, close for all the attractions Dorset has to offer. Great garden for sitting out to enjoy a meal or relax in the swing with a glass of vino. Amenities were in abundance. So quiet and it was lovely to wake up to birdsong only. Lots to read and information about local area was great. Secure parking and I appreciated the milk upon arrival.
Really strong smell of wet dog. I don’t have one so I noticed it straight away. I love dogs don’t get me wrong but it’s quite overbearing. I had to have all the windows open until late. Could be the purple rug. Also, please consider getting some decent pillows…anything but sponge! (but that’s just me)

secluded quiet location, nice large garden
blue lights on radiators at night and sound when radiators start to warm up, tiny fridge too low on the floor
