Value for money property

Nice and Clean property. Cooker and washing machine available. Quite and peaceful area. Good communication by owners.

Not enough light in the entrance hall and Staircase, no dedicated parking. Top floor is 2nd floor

Disappointing

The kitchen is very clean, has good facilities and is roomy for a property of this size. The twin beds are comfortable. The heating is decent. The owner was responsive and very helpful in resolving some minor issues we had (but the property management company much less so with a more major issue - see above).

The paintwork is peeling in a few places, especially in the bathroom; the extractor doesn't seem to vent moist air properly so expect a lot of condensation when showering. The sofa bed in the lounge is so uncomfortable (wooden slats digging into body parts) that my wife and I couldn't sleep on it and had to put cushions on the floor as our kids were occupying the actual beds. The owner is helpful and provided a temporary inflatable double, which was passably better, but I found the property management company dismissive and unhelpful when we asked for a small partial refund for the poor night's sleep. Finding a parking space on the same road as the property can be very difficult indeed, so if travelling by car I would not recommend arriving any later than mid-afternoon. In all, I thought the standard was some way below what we'd been led to expect, and represented poor value for money. The location of the property is pretty good for the city centre, but much better places can be found relatively easily for a similar cost.

Entrance to property at night poor no lights by the doors. Property from outside looked very shabby. No information in property about using kitchen equipment. Bathroom minute.

Very good

The apartment was very clean and had all the appliances we needed. Good location with just a little walk into town.

Unfortunately the sofa bed was broken so we couldn't use it for the 3rd person.

Enjoyable cosy and comfortable flat in a great location.

Very nicely decorated and tasteful. Good sized rooms

Some cigarette buts on top of the back of the sofa, otherwise clean. Didn’t like having to give a cleaning deposit and didn’t like having to present other information before I could finish the reservation….red tape! Bed a bit soft…needs replacing.

Spacious and very fair apartment. Everything works. It's nice to be there

It's fair for the price, but it's not freshly painted. The window gapes slightly in the living room. There is no light at the front door. But again, a lovely apartment.

Comfortable beds, warm, location

Lack of utensils in kitchen. Lack of communication when lock was changed resulting in us standing outside in rain before we could raise someone downstairs. Poor lighting in lounge where we usually ate in poor light. Bathroom hot tap loose and extractor fan not working, paint peeling.

Too many stairs, parking a pain. Good internet, nice little village nearby.

Didn’t realise the amount of stairs to go up. Finding a car parking space was a nightmare. Having to be aware of when car parking permit ran out each day was annoying. A couple of random hairs found in shower. Microwave door and handle was clearly not cleaned before our arrival.

Served our purpose - clean and comfortable.

The flat was clean and there was plenty of light. Bed was comfy and the water was lovely and hot. Communications good.

The road was drab and expected something visually more attractive. Bedroom curtains could do with being fuller. In warm weather please consider replacing hot duvet with a sheet and a cotton blanket. The whole street keeps their bins at the front door, so I guess it's the way it is, but it doesn't make for a welcoming entrance.

Satisfied.

The flat is big, spacious, bright and in a quiet area close to 0local shops. I particularly enjoyed nice breakfast at the sandwich inn and get grocery from the organic shop. I broke a glass and the management was so kind not to take it off the deposit.

A little cleaning at the outside wouldn't be a bad idea

nice for a short stay

nice location, close to city centre

Had a bit of a scare when moving in. There were no lights/ electricity in the property when arriving. Bizarrely only the lights in the ground floor flat were working. After some difficulty managed to get a hold of the personnelle (who at first had no idea where the main source ) but figured in out in the end. A bit of a hassle getting the keys from the key box due a glitch in the numbering of the flats. Bathroom is very small and all the mirrors are very high up. Would have liked if there were more photos of flat prior to moving in.

Great place to stay for a visit to Exeter

Well equipped kitchen. Just outside city centre but easy walking distance. Good quality towels and bed linen. Very comfortable beds.

Rather tired appearance but fully functioning flat. Wifi didn’t reach as far as the bedroom but perfect in the sitting room. Might benefit from an outside light.

Really appreciated the tea and milk sachets supplied - thank you. Very comfortable beds, very clean.

Shower hose not working properly so had to use as a handheld. Couldn’t make a v work - no signal message on screen and no instructions

Weekend in the city

Smart and cozy apartment, really clean and had everything I needed for the weekend. Great location in the city - central but quiet.

It's a small thing but an outside light would be reassuring when arriving in the dark - and help with the key safe access.

Really nice spacious apartment , within walking distance of the city centre

Apartment was clean, bright and spacious. Kitchen was well stocked with a nice big fridge

Wifi was pretty poor despite the property descriptio saying super fast Wifi. Couldn’t watch Netflix due to the Wifi. The parking is on the street using a parking permit supplied at the property but it is very difficult to get parking if you arrive late in the evening

Cute attic flat

Cute decoration, thoughtful tea/coffee/sugar/ toiletries. Nice TV, comfortable sofa. Really nice location near At Leonard's parade of shops and also a big Waitrose. Quiet area. Small but everything you need.

The flat is lovely, but needs some maintenance! Window upstairs doesn't close, shower tap is loose on the wall, drains have some smell.

Its a good spacious reasonably priced appartment close to the city centre.

Close to the city centre, and being an appartment you can prepare and cook your own food as and when required.

The appartment front door frame around the lock needs attention to ensure it remains secure...advised the property owner re this..the kitchen could do with some oven dishes/trays ...and a good tin opener! Having a lock fitted to the bathroom door would be good.

Excellent

We definitely loved everything about this property, it was so comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay. The location was perfect, within a few minutes walk of a really cutesy local community street that had lots of different shops and restaurants and the main area of central Exeter is a 5 to 10 minute walk away. So convenient. You won’t be disappointed. It’s great!
