About this cabin rental

The Treehouse has spectacular views of the Nueces River and hills. The sunrises are amazing! The Treehouse offers an abundance of outdoor living space. It has a large deck with oversized chairs to enjoy the view and the breeze, while the underneath area which boasts a full bath, bar, kitchenette, swing, and hammock all for your enjoyment. Off to the side, you will find a playhouse for the little ones, a BBQ pit, and a fire pit area with chairs for cooking s'mores and cozying up on those cool Texas nights. This Treehouse has a master bedroom with a queen bed, a loft with two queen beds, a full bath, a kitchen, and a living area. It has lots of glass so you can enjoy the view inside as well as out! This cabin has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The river is great for swimming fishing, snorkeling, or kayaking. Bird watching, biking, hiking, and hunting are very popular in this area. Watching wildlife in the mornings or star gazing at night this place won't disappoint. Located 30 miles north of Uvalde and about 10 miles south of Campwood. In this area AT&T cell service works well, I have been told Verizon doesn't, so you might want to check about service in the area before you come if you don't have AT&T.

QUINTESSENTIAL! Absolutely loved the property and the calmness it brought upon this busy family. Spotty internet connection allowed us to disconnect from the world and spend quality time with one another to build stronger bonds. The property is immaculate and well kept. Nathan (property manager) is on top of everything we needed or had questions on.

Great property and highly recommend! Our family of 6 (two adults and four teenagers) stayed at the treehouse during spring break 2024. We wanted a getaway in the Hillcountry off a river, and this property didn’t disappoint. Our favorite part was sitting on the deck overlooking the river and watching the sunset come up over the hills. We also enjoyed making a campfire in the fire pit and sitting around making s’mores telling stories and watching the starry sky. The remote location means no light polution! The weather was great in mid Feb (70-80 degrees), and despite it being on the cooler side, all our kids enjoyed swimming and playing in the crystal clear water and fishing in the Nueces. The house was comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed minus a cutting board and a tea kettle which we let the property owners know about. We also brought our own large cooking pan which came in handy. If you plan on cooking, heads up that the range is electric, older, and very fickle. It takes a long time just to boil water. Not a big deal. The property manager was very friendly and checked on us every day. The nearest grocery store is in Camp Wood, which is about a 20 minute drive north. They have a family Dollar that has just about everything you need. Highly recommend this property and we’d stay there again in a heartbeat.

The property is beautiful. The house was built and decorated tastefully. It is the Perfect place to just unwind and relax. We had a great time fishing and swimming during the day and cooking and star gazing at night. Thank you for letting us enjoy your little piece of heaven!

We had a family wedding in the area and we rented the cabin to stay. Other family members rented another cabin on property so we could be close to eachother. It worked out great! Very clean and relaxing time. It was very nice to be able to spend time together as a family and still have space to just sit and drink coffee and enjoy the outside.

Wife and I came out to the area to do some hiking at Garner state park (nearby) and this was an amazing place to stay. We had a great fire, the rental was clean and perfect for a small gettaway. Management was great and the on-site help was very kind and nice to have! We will come back for sure :)

The treehouse cabin was perfect. Extremely clean, cozy and peaceful. The host was very flexible with us. We had actually booked the cabin a little over a month prior but a family medical emergency caused us to miss our reservation dates. Our host was kind enough to work with us and get our reservation pushed back. A very pleasant experience.

6 adults stayed here for a long weekend. Had a great, relaxing time. It was so nice to just walk down the steps to a beautiful river of water and float on a tube. House was perfect, we cooked every meal there and really enjoyed the outdoor area below the house to play cards and dice games. We will be back! Thanks Tina for all the info before we got there, and the property Manager Nathan was very nice and came over each morning to see if we needed anything. GREAT SERVICE!

The place is nice and we’ll kept. We enjoyed our stayed. If there is one small minor thing that needs improvement on is the WiFi. It seems that the bandwidth is pretty minimal and couple of us to share after we get back from our activities. Takes very long time and more than half of the time it always timed out even with couple of upload pictures on Facebook or surfing on the web. I wish there is an improvement on this, otherwise, it a great place to stay

My cousins and I planned a weekend trip to enjoy the river and get away. Immediately, as we pulled into the driveway we noticed a family of deer running by and were captivated by the scenery and peacefulness. The treehouse alone is beautiful, clean and very cozy. We arrived after 5 and still had time to enjoy the Nueces river before sundown. I was blown away by the clear, cool and gorgeous river! The water level was low but had some areas of depth possibly up to 10ft. At night, we lit a fire, roasted marshmallows and spent time gazing at the stars. The wraparound deck is a delight to watch the sunrise with a fresh cup of coffee and stare at the beautiful river below. The downstairs outdoor kitchen area and mini fridge were great for a mid day lunch and break from the river. The swing and hammock area were perfect for a quick nap to recharge then back into the water. Nathan, the groundskeeper was very kind, helpful and made us feel very welcome. This property is wonderful for an intimate, relaxing and fun weekend. The treehouse and amenities exceeded our expectations and made everything so memorable. We are already looking to book again soon!

This was a 4 day-stay, 6 of us, and still fit us perfectly. The downstair open door space is very well planned out and extremely functional, especially when you spend the day going back and forth to/from the river. The second-floor deck with those really big Tx Pecan trees is amazing, with a commanding view of the Nueces river as your backyard.

The pictures online do not do this home justice! It is way prettier in person! It is absolutely beautiful. The hammock was my favorite. We took a weekend away from the kids (4 kids at home) Just me and my partner. It was amazing. We grilled, sat outside in the outside kitchen/bar area and played cards and dominoes. We laid on the hammock and relaxed on the swing and just listened to nature and the river. It was so peaceful and relaxing and the property manager Nathan that lives nearby was nice and friendly. We had a really good time. The swimming hole is stunning. Clear clean waters well taken care of. We had fun playing horseshoes. The only thing I wish is that we spent more time there. I really wanted to light the fire pit and make smores and just relax in front of the fire - but we ran out of time. It was the most relaxing peaceful trip I have ever taken. We just kept saying WOW! It is so beautiful. Thank you so much for allowing us access to your beautiful home. It truly is spectacular! We would like to come in June and rent more properties with you and bring our entire family this summer. Thank you so very much. -Megan & Tony

The Treehouse Spring Break

The kids loved the Treehouse and, especially, the kids playroom. The property is picturesque and we enjoyed having coffee on the porch, watching the sunrise and the wildlife around the house. The property was very clean and exactly as advertised which we appreciated after a 4hr drive. The property manager, Nathan was very attentive and helpful for anything we needed. We plan to book here again in the future!
