Such a fun, funky place to be!
It felt safe and easy for us as a family in a room. Kids went nuts over the bunkbeds and I think my husband was the happiest.
Everything was clean and in order.
Location was very convenient to Dover docks.
10/10 would go there again and recommend it to those that enjoy this type of thing.

Very Hospitable ,Polite and very Friendly host named Jeff
Based above a Pub the dormitory based layout will suit a group of friends, the single traveller like myself, and or business travellers
Both male and female accommodation is available at a value for money price
If you need anything else just ask Jeff

The owner Jeff is awesome. He is so kind and helpful. We stayed in the Women’s room as a family, beds comfortable. It was a neat experience.
That we had to leave

The location is great, just 2 mins walk to town. The bed is comfortable and so warm for a cold day to lie down and chill. Lovely staff, made you feel like at home than at a hostel. The old building is wonderful with antique stuffs.
Just a bit dark in the room, a bit more light is better.

Excellent welcome.
Too hot in the bedroom and bathroom. Radiators on full blast on April 23rd!
Loud ticking clock in bedroom not set at the right time either!
Smelly pillows.
No hand soap in bathrooms.

I mean for what youre paying its what youd expect. Owner is very nice.
Place just was kinda dirty and smelly, and it felt like it was just an extension of his living area. The people in the mens dorm with me were okay, one guy was kinda sketchy, seemed like he maybe was abusing substances by the way he talked and looked.

That it was close to the train station and was the cheapest at the time.
it was really creepy at night since it was only me staying in the female room. Then, the door was automatic lock and I got locked out outside since I thought I already unlocked it inside before I got out and there is no receptionist and it is so hard to reach the person in charge of the place.

It was a bit strange because the pub below was closed. And I had to enter the building on my own and find out where my room is.
Also the stairway was a bit dark.

situated in the town so was close to everything, bed was very cosy and very friendly and welcoming
only thing is I would prefer if the beds were all in separate rooms rather than together but me and my friend was the only ones staying so we didn’t have to share the room with anyone although it’s good that the men’s rooms and women’s rooms are separate

Everything. the bedding was perfect, very comfortable. it’s very aesthetically pleasing and I really liked the thought put into the things travellers may need (eg. ironing board, hair dryer etc)
for me everything was great

Horrible place , horrible smell dirty all over the place. Paid the money through the booking and didn’t sleep there. I went to another hotel as the smell was so bad.

It was exactly what it said on the tin. Very basic but everything is there. Bed was warm and comfortable and I went on the coldest night of the year . Very informal
The room was a bit dark .. the lighting above the bed being the only source. Switching on other bed lights helped and it was prob more noticeable as I was there on almost the shortest day of the year . The shower took some getting used to but was ok .

Jeff is a great host and does what he can to make you feel comfortable. Friendly and down to earth guy. The dorms are clean and comfortable and warm and of course the bar downstairs is pretty cool ,just like Jeff.
Loved it, won't go anywhere else ..Great value for money

Facilities were more or less adequate. Comfy bed. Warm room. Shower was warm-hot but couldn't really adjust the heat level too much. Free towels.
Bed bugs. Saw one running on my bed and squashed it. A friend of mine stayed same hostel room on a different night than I stayed and he said he spotted a bed bug on his bed within the first 30 mins after laying on the bed.
There was a guy sleeping in the same room who works at the hostel, he was worse than a disrespectful tourist could be. Talking loudly in early mornings and late nights, he would watch stuff on his phone with loud sound on, make phone calls and one time was crunching on crisps, so there's no peace and quiet with him there.
Lack of electrical plugs. There were 2 plugs end of the room and one extension lead that if you were lucky you could take dips on it for short time.
