My initial thoughts when walking in were ok its for one night. When I was shown to the room (great bonus and often does not happen) my view changed it was lovely homely very clean in the public areas. The room was excellent had everything I needed and more including a working shower that I could understand and a comfortable bed.
Oh and my requests were met
Whilst appreciating that the kitchen was out due to building this is the third time this year where this has happened to me. It would be great if this could be popped up on the listing to make an informed decision.

Very clean room, comfortable and quiet despite the pub having music on throughout the evening. Full size bath was a bonus! Despite being in the centre of town, the Ivy has dedicated parking to rear of pub, free of charge
Snags with wi-fi connection, staff unable to rectify but did not affect my stay.
Room would benefit from a chair and small table to enable guests to work on PC etc

Lovely and clean, friendly staff.
It's a shame they don't do breakfasts,

Staff where lovely and one member came to see me and reassure me during a power cut.
Shame not to have breakfast.

No breakfast "kitchen refurbishment. "

Very clean room with excellent ceiling fans. Staff very pleasant and welcoming on arrival. Right in the middle of town so convenient for all amenities. Though music on till late we were two floors above so didn't really hear. We also didn't come back from the wedding till late. The large room we will book again as a double and single bed so three people can sleep comfortably
No one there on check out. I did want to report the shower holder was broken. Was on arrival but holding on. Totally came off in second morning

The rooms were clean spacious and fresh and bed comfy and bathroom had a bath and shower and roomy.
The room had all you needed and it was light and airy.
Unfortunately we had to go through a pub with smokers outside and drinkers inside and that was bit weird cos it is supposed to be a hotel. In truth it should have been sold as a pub on the Hugh street with good quality bedrooms upstairs of the pub. The staff were welcoming and efficient.
Didn’t like the welcome to having to walk through a busy pub with snooker table and drinkers and locals talking. Would have been better to have a separate aeea to come in n go upstairs quietly and away from all the onlookers. Also the high street was pretty average and nothing special.
Sleaford village was ok. Had to go the next day to Lincoln to get the Lincolnshire tourist feel. It was amazing.
Overall just wished the location of the pub hotel was in a more pleasant surrounding.

location very central
Only reason it wasnt excellent was the noise from the music in the bar below, even with the windows closed you could hear the thud of the disco and it went on quite late. Stairs could be a problem for some people`

Clean, modern. Nice venue.

Bev and Lauren were just amazing - welcoming, friendly and went above and beyond.
Loved the room, we are travelling around the UK and the room we had was extremely clean, modern and comfortable compared to others of similar price.

Bed was comfortable and room was goregous and once in room didn't hear any disturbances from the pub down stairs
To enter the property on the night had to go through many people who were consuming alcohol although it isn't the lisences fault that when people are drunk they say do silly things.

Live music on Saturday nights - loud in the bar but rooms, stairs and landing so well insulated - didn’t hear it or other guests at all. I don’t think staff could have done more than they did to make us welcome and comfortable. The car park is a little tricky to find as you have to drive over the pavement by the monument to get to it - but it’s great as once there you get out the car and in through back entrance of pub via a courtyard lit up with fairy lights and plenty of seating. The canal, shops and lots of places to eat etc all in easy walking distance. We will stay here again when returning to the area.

Right on the mainstreet, good parking, great room. Hotel on the money for the price.

The location was quite good although the car park was a little bit obscure to find, could do with being sign posted.
The overhead pub sign could do with a drop of oil/grease, to stop it from squeaking in the wind.

The staff were absolutely lovely . The drink prices and selection were 3xtremely good

Central for the town superb room clean tidy, Bath and shower comfy bed.
The sign outside the building was very noisy when blowing in the wind and directly out side of my room.

yes ….. just the central heating did come on enough and the room was freezing….. other than that it was fine ….. quite funny seeing people having punch ups in the bar 😂….
