Ideally situated just yards from the seafront

I loved how much stuff they got into the amount of space they had very homly and very clean. Plus good facilities in the kitchen had everything we needed except a freezer but that not a problem
No parking at the property I have to spend close to £70 in the local car park for the week which really hurt my wallet plus I did not know that before booking which really should have been told in my opinion plus infortunatly and I know you can't control this but the neighbours are very noisy dragging ladders up the alley way at 6am.

Communication and instructions were clear and friendly, and the flat is comfortable and equipped with everything you could need. It was lovely to be a few minutes walk from the sea and close to shops and restaurants.
The flat is very small, and should really be described as having two bedrooms with extra sleeping space in the living room.

The location for us was perfect, close to sea front, shops and restaurants.
There was a very large patch of mould in the bathroom, and wallpaper coming off the wall in the toilet. This should all be attended to BEFORE. advertising, it was shocking!
Approach path is tatty with weeds.
Letting agent reluctant about supplying an extra set of bedding, but did. But failed to return calls regarding the mould and a loose toilet seat.
Very Minimal Crockery and glasses supplied.
The place itself is small but in a good position but showed a lack of thought by owner and a lack of care by the agents.

As the previous review in September 2021 has said literally nothing has changed.
Upon arrival very hard to find, after multiple calls to the owner did we find it. It is sold as a Sea View, which it 100% is NOT. upon calling the owner he said this is as you are not upstairs, but this is only sold as a 12A accommodation there is no B so what upstairs. The entrance to the FLAT (NOT COTTAGE) is very unsafe and narrow, hard to navigate through at night.
There was no hot water, on which the owner said he would come in 15mins, but he sent the cleaner, said a switch was turned off which only they had access to, it was at this point we notified her of the leaking shower ((which the owner says we told no one so has now said we broke it and refused to give us our deposit) - he sent us 2 pictures which were clearly different shower systems)
The toilet has a slanted floor so feels like you will fall when sitting down.
There was a lot of footstep noise coming from upstairs again told to the cleaner. There was a door at the entrance which led to the upstairs of the apartment which was unlocked, so we had to keep our locked at all times.
There was bright light coming from the bathroom window and load of noise and talking outside that window well past midnight (picture attached view from the sitting room/ 4th and 5th person bedroom). We even tried to block the light with a towel which did not help as seen in the picture.
Also as seen in the picture, its sold as a 5 person apartment, but the sofa bed does not even have space to open up even with taking the chairs away, so the 5th person spent the night on the sofa.
Very small window in the sitting room/4th persons bedroom for ventilation, but we could not open it due to cobwebs covering the outside.
We left 2 days early as it was not as sold and we messaged the owner that we were deciding to leave, but we did not even receive a courtesy call as suggested by him in a review response to ask why or if everything was okay.

The decor of the apartment looked very nice.
As soon as you enter the apartment it has a very strange smell which put us off. It was also very dirty. The toilet hadn't been cleaned properly as well as, it is very uncomfortable to sit on as it feels slanted. The kitchen was surprisingly very dirty, this included things like the cutlery, floor, plates, glasses, cupboards etc. As a result, we went to the supermarket and bought some cutlery, plates & cups. Doesn't seem like anything was cleaned in the apartment. Inside the fridge was very sticky. There were no body towels for us to use other than face towels however, there was a dirty used body towel on the back of the door of one of the rooms. There was no hot water. There was a lot of noise coming from upstairs. There was a door at the entrance which led to the upstairs of the apartment which was unlocked which didn't feel very safe. Whilst in the bathroom you can hear people talking loudly outside along with bright lights entering through the window. Parking is very disappointing. You have to park after 6pm - 8am to get free parking which meant we had to wake up early to top up parking and pay every day. The entrance to the apartment isn't the nicest and doesn't feel very safe when coming home at night.
