Clare and Mike were very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. On a very cold night they made sure we were warm. Clare cooked us a delicious meal with produce from her garden. The house is really interesting and a joy to stay in.

Great, attentive and accommodating host. Room was very cosy and comfortable, in a quiet area of the country. Great homecooked breakfast, and very nice shower facilities.
No complaints at all, really. Could do with a little sign or trimming back the hedge around the mirror at the entrance, as it's a little easy to miss (especially in the dark) but not really a big deal at all.

Good location 5 minutes from nearest town, with very pretty garden and friendly and helpful host. Comfortable bed and strong shower. Delicious breakfast, and supper (at extra cost) in a bright conservatory.
Worth visiting nearby Great Torrington a market town which is steeped in history and has plenty of shops and places of interest to visit, as well as a stunning view across the valley. Host Clare was very friendly and helpful, as well as being a great cook.
Pillows were a bit hard and bath towels small, but they did not spoil our stay.

Delicious home cooked breakfast and dinner made from fresh ingredients, some home grown. Clare is a great host and made us feel very welcome in her beautiful home. Our bedroom was beautifully furnished (stylish) and everything was of good quality and provided for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location is a very peaceful and rural one with a lovely garden in which to sit and appreciate the tranquility of the space.

One of the best properties I've ever stayed in England. Excellent location, and very quiet, which was much needed. The host was extremely nice. The cute dogs were very friendly. We had dinner in the property on our first night: everything was produced in the farm. The food was excellent. Breakfast was excellent too! The bed was extremely comfortable.
Nothing to report in here. Everything was perfect.

Set in an idyllic location wonderfully peaceful and a chance to recharge the batteries. We were made very welcome on arrival and offered tea after a long journey.
To say what we didn’t like would be to nit pick.

Food was excellent with the added bonus of arranging an evening meal on the day of arrival. Room was clean and comfortable with all the necessary facilities. Location was perfect with RHS Rosemoor just a 5min drive away.
Like everything, no improvements required.

We got a warm & friendly welcome, great guests lounge with a log fire, comfy bedroom, good en-suite facilities and a great nights sleep,,, lovely!
A bit remote, unless that’s what you’re after then it’ll be perfect

Lovely shower. Friendly owner and friendly dogs.
Wasn't easy to find, the sign was too small to notice.

The location was perfect for us, near family and not too remote. Plenty to do locally if you want to go sightseeing. Two beautiful double bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms, a private sitting room downstairs and the use of the conservatory if the weather had been nicer. The breakfast included in the rate was more than enough for me (eggs on toast, yoghurt, fruit, toast & marmalade) and it's very reasonable to charge £5 a head for a full cooked breakfast if people want to opt into that. Clare made us all feel very welcome and the dogs are extremely friendly. Looking forward to future visits, and we'll definitely recommend Frizenham Farmhouse to friends and family.
Can't think of anything.

States 'A La Carte' breakfast, Poached egg on toast. - Do not let that deter you, eggs were fresh that morning and the bread was home made - Delightful!
Room was extremely clean.
Host was very polite.
Very tight if you are in a bigger vehicle, Had to reverse all the way back out the lane as I could not turn the van around - Could do with more of a 'yard/service area'.
Looks are deceiving, seems very tired and ran down from the outside. Inside is clean and tidy.

Location was ideal for us to explore the Tarka Trail as it was very close to a car park near the trail. Clare was very accommodative to all of our requests and generous with advice about things to do and go to in the local area. The breakfast was excellent and she was happy to adjust to our requests in this regard.

Very quiet and comfortable. High quality finishes and furnishings. Friendly and helpful host.
