The Cherry Tree is pleasant enough - it's newly renovated so all very clean and new. The reason I stayed there, and will stay there again is due to location - it's 8 min drive from where I am working.
However the only room that is affordable and has a double bed is tiny! Literally could not swing a cat and tbh I think it's over priced for what it is. But as I only require somewhere to sleep close to work and the bed is very comfortable it works for me.
The TV is tiny - bearing in mind the only place to watch it from is sitting on the bed it simply isn't big enough and it was broken - there was NO sound on BBC 1 - and as there is only the option to watch BBC 1, 2, ITV and C4 this is pretty poor.
The shower is disappointing - hot but a very weak shower with a very small shower head.
The room is absolutely tiny.
The shower is poor.
The TV is too small for the room and wasn't working properly on all channels.

excellent breakfast, and the shortbread choc chip cookies given as we left.

Dog friendly, decor with high spec staff were extremely friendly. Excellent choice of breakfast.
Only issue we had was a mattress it was too hard for us. I mentioned this and the mattress topper was put on the very next day which made it very comfortable. Staff are very helpful.

Modern and easy to access
Heating was off but soon warmed up

Very well decorated, modern, good breakfast and cafe.
Had some great recommendations on an info sheet in the room for pubs and dinner in the local area which was fantastic
When I think about B&B, I think about staying in someone’s house and chatting to the owner or landlord but it was a self check in process which was different to expectation and texting the owner/manager resulted in a very long response when the room we were staying in was the temperature of an igloo to start with

I really liked this place and would stay again if in the area with work. Breakfast was great!

Location was perfect for my purpose. Room was spotlessly clean and had everything that I needed.
Breakfast choice was limited, no full English on offer. Temperature control on the wall was a bit of a fiddle as the instructions given in the booklet weren't quite accurate.

Beautiful room. Lovely decor in room and breakfast lounge. Superb large and very comfortable bed. Lovely big shower.
Great breakfast and lovely staff.
Couldn't get the heating to work in the bedroom. A mirror above the desk/dressing table would be more useful than a picture.

Excellent and imaginative breakfast
Had to let ourselves into the room which was very small for the price paid

Parking was conveniently right outside.
The room was spacious and included everything we needed.
The breakfast choice was the largest we have ever encountered. Something to look forward to each morning.
The Cherry Tree is in a pretty part of the Chilterns and central to so many interesting places.
We were there for 8 lovely days .

Breakfast was lovely, staff were really helpful and friendly. The facilities were lovely and clean and really well presented.
So disappointed with the stay itself. We booked the overnight stay so we were close to Heathrow (we drove down from North Wales) so we could get a decent rest before our onward journey. The room itself was boiling. There was a fan in the room which we used all night but unfortunately made no difference to the temperature of the room. The room was also really noisy which under normal circumstances you would be able to shut the window to reduce some of the noise however it was so warm inside the room that wasn't an option. Ear plugs were provided by the venue so noise was obviously a known issue. I did send an email after check out to let staff know about the issues we had in the room.

Room nicely decorated very clean.
Coffee bags and choices of tea plentiful in the room.
Breakfast choice was good and staff all very friendly and helpful.
Guest parking available.
Would return again but would go with larger room.
I had a smaller room and my window was a frosted window. Makes the room feel even more enclosed.

Great spot with a really welcoming host. Enjoyable breakfast. Comfortable beds. Ideal spot if you're looking for a country-side escape for a weekend.
Rooms were a little small with limited space for suitcases. Nonetheless, a lovely stay.

Modern furnishings, good Wi-Fi, had parking and good breakfast.
Very noisy heavy iron side gate that kept us awake until the early hours with guests coming in late. Front door and other interior doors needed sound proofing as well. Shame as this spoilt what is otherwise a nice place.
4.5
Friendly staff, room was very clean and comfortable. Extra touches like fresh milk for tea and coffee in our room was much appreciated. Breakfast was very tasty.
Only slight disappointment was the fact that there was nowhere to go for an evening meal within walking distance. But plenty of choice within a short drive.
4.5
Friendly, chatty hostess and manager, offer to store bicycles in utility room, clean and modern ambience, tray for muddy boots, USB charging sockets by the bedside, location near Chilterns hiking trails.
Room was a bit compact for two people. Breakfast was very nice but the suggestion that a flat white from the coffee machine (as opposed to filter coffee from a pot) would cost extra was a bit odd. Other guests have complained that there is no place to have dinner in the village but a little prep on google maps would have made that plain; besides, a good walk is a healthy thing to do before and after dinner, or else, there is a good local bus connection to Thame.

Contactless entry worked well. Room well appointed. Good parking. Just off junction 5 on the M40. Great for Garsington Opera. 14 minutes drive away. Comfortable bed. Good shower.
Good breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt, big range of hot breast, pastries and croissants. Cans and bottles of soft drinks the room for free. There is a daytime cafe and take away 6 days per week.
All good

Always a very comfortable stay in quiet location. Rooms very well equipped with all you need
We had the ground floor room next to the back entrance . Other guests arriving like us confused by 2 safe boxes with door keys as you check yourself in. This is a heavy fire door that slams on closing
