Just trashy no parking space lot of beer cans in laundry room

Well located in Cortez, about a 30 minute drive from Mesa Verde National Park. Room was spacious and I was always able to park outside. WiFi worked well during my stay and check in and check out process was easy.

We could not get the TV to turn on. There was no microwave or coffee maker in the room. We needed to take the back off the toilet tank after flushing it to push the piece down so the tank could fill back up.

Very run-down and in need of fixing and sprucing up!

The check in staff was nice, but everything beyond that was disappointing. Not well maintained, very old, sketchy hotel. Bed was comfortable, a fair amount of space in room but low quality on everything else. Breakfast consisted of coffee, cheerios and white bread for toasting. Did not feel safe all night.

We stayed two nights. Old and dirty suite, smelled bad. We kept the reservation as we were visiting Mesa Verde and were too tired to change it.

Knew better as we walked in

Rooms were big and reasonable for the price paid. Good location right off the downtown on the way to Durango. However, there were signs that coffee and some breakfast available in the lobby from 7 to 9, but went to check out at 7:30am, the staffs haven't even opened the door, i guess they were still sleeping (?). So decided to just drop off the key outside and left.

It was a pig pen. I didn’t stay there. I went somewhere else you shouldn’t even be renting it out for them people.

Very basic property that is in need of repair/renovations.

It's ok, a hotel for the cheapest price in town. Not well maintained but the bed was clean.

Tv was not plugged in, but the clerk came over right away and fixed it. It is an older hotel, so I did not expect much. It was just me and I just needed a place to sleep and take a warm shower. It worked for that purpose. Ok place if on a budget and not staying long term.

Booked my room, got there, real rundown stinks the smell is awful. The guy up front couldn’t get his computer to work so told me to just go down to econolodge. Like really?
So, my family and I drove to the best western where we know it clean and worth the money! Boo on this hotel if you can even call it that

Old style motel park outside your room, noisy.
You get what you pay for but got the job done.

Very helpful staff especially for late arrival.

This place is a dump! The room smelled like a funeral home, bed so bad couldn't sleep. Noisy area of town. Best thing of all is the manager attempting to open our door for another guest at 330 in the morning. Then he proceeds to blame us for not leaving the light on. What a joke. I recommend sleeping in your car rather than this place.

This was a budget buy, and to be sure, I was thankful to have a roof over my head and and bed when I went down to shoot the eclipse. But when describing the place, the word 'Spartan' comes to mind. Bare bones. And, have fun trying to find power for phones, laptop, etc. They exist, but are so old and worn out (and likely not up to code) that when I tried to plug something in, the plug just fell out of the socket. Wouldn't stay in.

They overbooked us to The EconoLodge down the road and they charged over we agreed. No explanation. The EconoLodge they sent was dirty. The bathroom mat was covered in mold and the drawers of dressers were filled with food particles.
The towels had stains. It was the worst experience. We traveled around the world, but this is the worst place we ever stayed

Our sheets had stains on them. Git in really late. Person took our payment but we were not acknowledged.
We slept on top of bedding because we were grossed out but needed to sleep to continue our trip early in the morning.

we went to the room and seen bed bugs on the bed we left and went some where else

You get what you pay for. Was trying to save a few dollars and was disappointed with my choice.
But I did get a very economical price for the room.
So I feel I don't have a lot of room for complaining.
Water in shower had an odder & bath tub was dirty.

Very nice and clean but it is an older property. Don’t let that put you off though. Very nice people and as said it was very clean. Has a small fridge and microwave but no coffee pot. Would stay here again.

The room we had was very clean. We slept well. Air conditioning worked fine. Car was easy to park right at the door. The staff was wonderfully friendly and accommodating.

Place could use more TLC. But it was good for a one-night stay.

Mr. L, the manager was so accommodating, he gave us a bigger room with no extra charge. The room was clean and our overall stay was good.
4.0 / 10.0
This property is older, but perfectly clean. Considering it was the least expensive motel room available that night, it was fine. I disagree with several of the negative reviews. Now under new management. He told me he had moved from Farmington just a couple months earlier.
