We stayed for a Sunday night in November. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was cosy but the bathroom had both a roll top bath and a walk-in shower. The evening meal was good and the cooked breakfast excellent. A relaxing stay all round.

I am glad i added an extra night the day before arrival. I hadnt been to Arundel for years so enjoyed get reacquainted. The room was a comfortable double. There is a food selection of tea and coffee, milk you get from the bar in a flask, brilliant idea, great as i have Oat Milk. The only small thing is that i feel the sink is too close to the bath head end. The staff are all lovely. I would definitely stay again.

A characterful hotel with a very good breakfast. We appreciated the thoughtful touches from the excellent toiletries/selection of teas etc to a very authentic mojito in the bar ! Great for some needed R and R .

Fantastic, really enjoyed our stay. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spotlessly clean and bar is pleasant. Breakfast was wonderful. Arundel is a beautiful town and pleasure to walk. Thank you.

If I could give 10 stars for service I would - this team really knows what they're doing and appear to really care about the quality of the work they do and the experience of their guests. We had a very comfortable room, and an excellent breakfast. I really hope the owners of this place know the value of their staff and treat them accordingly!

Didn’t provide a VAT receipt on request, potentially an issue with Hotels.com not the hotel. Also, one of the managers criticised a member in staff in the restaurant which I didn’t think was very professional.

We had an amazing stay with the Swan, the pub is gorgeous and the rooms quirky and immaculately clean. We had originally booked only one night but loved it so much, we stayed for three! The staff couldn't have been more helpful (we had our bikes with us and they were great at storing them safely for us). The food here was also delightful - great quality and plenty of choice. Breakfast each morning was served by the lovely Yvonne who is a fabulous host and made everyone feel so welcome - she was an absolute star :) Thank you The Swan for a lovely trip :)

Comfortable, clean, continent to the castle a two minute walk away, and friendly! The food in the pub was awesome as well!

Great location, friendly helpful staff and quiet area. However our Indulgence room suffered from being close to the primary exit / entrance with a loud banging door. This combined with a large, noisy wedding party staying here, negatively impacted our stay for our anniversary. Best considered as a pub with rooms rather than a hotel, although not sure that then justifies the expense of the indulgence rooms.

Very traditional inn experience! Beautiful town with everything within walking distance. Staff are warm, chatty and more than happy to fufill requests if able. Breakfast was served between 7:30 and 10 giving plenty of time to laze if needed. Breakfast is cooked to order not a buffet style. Overall a fantastic experiance.

I had a really fantastic stay. Location is ideal for central Arundel and it’s just a ten minute walk from the train station. I had Room 15 on this trip. I previously had Room 6 last year in which I did prefer the layout, but on this trip I did have more space and a modern bathroom with a rainfall shower which was great. The bed was fantastic and the room was warm and cozy, the wifi was good too. The included breakfast is tremendous. The full English is probably the best I’ve had; every element was perfectly cooked. The eggs Benedict was also fantastic. There is also a great continental suggestion with fresh fruit and homemade yoghurt, some great pastries as well as cereals and fresh fruit juices. The evening food is good too. The staff I interacted with from check in to check out were all great. I was out all day Tuesday and requested some still water and teabags and got a lovely package of water, tea and a refill of chocolates once I’d returned. No complaints from me!
