It was in amazing shape foe a 300 year old building!!

The property is very well located in the centre of Bath.
My room was very comfortable and had everything I needed.
Breakfast was cooked to order and was very good.
Would definitely stay again.

The hotel wasn’t like what I had expected , the photos made rooms look bigger and much brighter and cleaner.
There was a leak on the second floor with a bucket and a wet patch on carpet, also stains on the ceiling.
The decorating wasn’t to a high standard, light switches hadn’t been removed when painted around.
The bathroom door looked discoloured, there were stains on the bedding, also do not feel that rooms where cleaned throughly or hoovered properly.
The bed kept moving everytime you went to sit or lean against it.
The blind was broken in our room and was mouldy.

One of the best breakfasts ever. The quality and freshness was excellent. The whole hotel was run by Christina who was very pleasant and efficient. The only drawback was the extremely small room on the third floor. Difficult to navigate with a suitcase.
4.6
Small room, no elevators, very noisy area. Good breakfast.
4.6
Clean and friendly. Brilliant breakfast. Right in the city centre and 4 minutes walk from the train station. The perfect place to stay for a city break. Christina is amazing! We'll be back !

Pleasant staff
Superb breakfast

The location is ideal: close to railway and bus stations, sights and shops. Very friendly staff and good breakfast. You have to be physically fit though because of the stairs, especially if you are on the top floor . The Georgians who built the house didn't install lifts. But all in all a pleasant place to stay .
4.6
Perfect, central location really close to the Abbey but in a quiet street.

A lovely place to stay, spacious rooms, great service, lovely breakfast.

Nice hotel. Stairs were a bit challenging to the top floor where our room was

Friendly staff, great breakfast and cute place

Our stay was great. The room was comfortable even with four of us (we stayed in the family room). The hotel was surprisingly quiet for the age of the building. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly. The location was great as well

While tgis is not a fancy place to stay, it is very clean and the staffis wonderful. I got the smalleat room in the place, at the top of the stairs. It was perfect foe my stay in Bath, central to everything and safe.
I will definitely stay here again when I come in one of the bigger rooms, as I saw a peak inside thhem and they are lovely!
4.6
I’ll start by saying that the staff was friendly and the breakfast excellent. The reasons for the two stars is everything else: bathroom light too dim, and one kept flickering off and on; no shelf to place toiletries; shelf below mirror made sink unusable for washing face, etc. beds very hard, and the one I had had a significant depression. No place to put belongings, as style over substance in room (ie, bed side tables decorative, while they could have lower shelves). While there is a warning for stairs, first two flights normal; last flight had tight corners and could not carry bag beside you; needed to drag up behind you. While the location was great, the sleep was poor.

Quaint guest rooms with the amenities you need. Breakfast was superb. Christina is a wonderful host!

Kristina was incredible. She was super friendly and accommodating in every way. Would stay here many times over because of her service.

Super comfortable room for our family of four. Delicious breakfast downstairs each morning with friendly staff. Conveniently located near Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths. We highly recommend the free mayor’s tour of the city with knowledgeable guides that walk you all around the sites and up to the Royal Crescent. We also had a delicious dinner at The Architect restaurant. We recommend grabbing a pint at The Boater as well with a nice bear garden area to look out over the Pulteney Bridge. If you have kids, check out the wonderful playground at Sydney Gardens, then walk to the Bath Locks area to catch views of all the neat boat houses along the canal.

This is such a quaint property! The staff are super nice and the breakfast provided was excellent! We definitely recommend this to travelers. We loved how easy it was to check in/out, it is so close to everything in Bath, and felt safe at all times.

Liked the character of the house and the sweet attention at breakfast. Parking was challenging since this is a highly walkable area and we had a vehicle.
4.6
Overall the property was very good, excellent breakfast and service. It was difficult to keep the room warm, even fully open the radiator was warm at best.
After leaving I am concerned there may have been bed bugs as I had a good number of bites on me, I am sorry for not directly reaching out to the Henry House

Very conveniently located - a few minutes walk from station and the town centre where the main attractions are.
It was self check-in - the host emailed and texted instructions beforehand so you can let yourself in and pick up the keys to your room.
I stayed in single room, which had use of a separate private small shower room opposite across the hallway. Would have preferred an ensuite. The room was small and quite noisy with delivery lorries passing throughout night.
Breakfast was nice and plentiful.

Extremely clean and comfortable room. The two breakfast attendants were kind and helpful. Location absolutely wonderful and a fair price.

Location
4.6
One of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had! Not necessarily for the actual accommodation, which is in a very convenient and well situated location, but mostly due to the extraordinary hospitality of the host Christina, who’s caring attention and genuine desire to accommodate our various requirements made this a very comfortable and memorable stay for us. We will especially remember the meticulous care and attention that she expended on catering the breakfast to meet our needs and expectations. We have not seen this level of care even in many luxury facilities, let alone a relatively cosy environment. We would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Christina was so kind and very accommodating. My room was perfect for what I needed for a cozy weekend for 1. I felt safe and could walk easily to everywhere in town. I will definitely book there again!

The place is adorable, the breakfast delicious and Cristina was super friendly. She even called us to tell us we forgot our earphones. Great experience!!

Very good. Convenient central location an easy walk from the train station. I was able to check in early, and Christina gave me an early breakfast as I was running in the half marathon. Breakfast was excellent.

Its in a great location. Owner was nice, too.

Excellent location. 3 mins from station and 2 minutes from centre. Lovely breakfast and friendly staff.

great location for shops and abbey etc, Staff very accommodating ,easy check in and out. Good English breakfast and other options. Room was clean but decor tired looking and bed was uncomfortable for me.

Great location
4.6
It was a shame no one was present to greet us or check us out. Overall it was a rather impersonal stay. Room was clean but some things could have been improved like the blind cords were far too high up to reach to open the blinds, I had to stand on the bed to reach them. There weren’t any plug sockets around the bed to plug in my phone and multiple light bulbs were missing from light fittings. Overall quite disappointed.
4.6
The Henry Guest House is in an excellent location, walkable to much of Bath including the Ancient Roman Baths, Bath Abbey and Pulteney Bridge. It is clean and our room was comfortable. Breakfast was abundant and tasty. Our room did not have air conditioning so we found it a little warm overnight.
4.6
We absolutely LOVED The Henry. Cute room. Lovely old building.
The woman working (owner?) went out of her way to make our stay great.
She even helped carry one of our 47 lb suitcases up 3 floors!!!
We arrived early and were able to check-in then since the room was ready- though even if the room wasn’t ready, we could have left our bags with her while we walked around town.
The following morning we had an early tour booked and she prepared 2 take-away breakfasts for us! So thoughtful! We were able to check-out but leave our bags with her until we returned later that night.
The hotel is just a couple blocks away from the train station, so that was very convenient.
So many eating options nearby and the hotel is so close to everything.
We highly recommend The Henry.
