Avoid staying at this hotel at all costs. They have a terrible customer service. When we stayed we got moved from our room about 3 times because the AC in the room did not work and the second time we got moved because the shower was clogged and third time because there was bed bugs on the mattress. Not to mention the food, the food was terrible in the buffet, the staff are not very clean and do not follow cleanliness. The restaurant option is ok but you have to reserve by 9 and it’s not convenient. This hotel is very expensive for what it is. Save your money and book yourself a nice hotel like Riu or such. Lastly I saw safety hazards by the pool there were multiple shoes just left by the pool this could easily trip people. In a nutshell avoid this jungle.

Our stay at Crown Paradise Club Hotel in Puerto Vallarta was the worst hotel experience we've ever had. The hotel is old and in need of renovation. Our room was infested with roaches and far below acceptable standards.
Customer service was terrible. Despite advertising all-inclusive and 24-hour room service, the phone didn’t work, and our room service requests were ignored. The most disturbing part was when a staff member walked into our room unannounced while we were sleeping, and again when I was in the bathroom, showing a blatant disregard for our privacy and safety.
Dining conditions were equally appalling. Hundreds of fruit flies swarmed the buffet, making it clear that hygiene practices were not followed. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, with language barriers exacerbating the issues.
In summary, the Crown Paradise Club Hotel failed on almost every front, making for a vacation we were eager to end. This hotel does not meet basic standards of hospitality, and we strongly advise against staying here until significant improvements are made. Choose another hotel that values its guests and adheres to basic hospitality standards.

It was our first time staying at this location. We LOVE IT!!!
Staff are amazing (Juan, Jose @ La palapa). Our housekeeper (Yessenia) She was amazing and friendly very detail in cleaning every day.
If you choose this location there’s 3 restaurants to eat fine dinning. You need to make up reservations by 9am. (French, Italian, Japanese) formal dress code.

Everything was out dated. Overall great place for families.

We stayed in a family room and it’s so outdated and small. The room has no views (well the parking lot) and is covered in bugs crawling on bed and in bags. We had to check every single bag before we left.
The resort is outdated too, the buffet food was mediocre. Didn’t get to try the restaurants as it was formal wear and you also have to book at 9am.
Definitely not what we expected from the photos on the website.
We only stayed 2 nights instead of 8!

It was a few minutes away from the city and the airport which was great. Hotel’s a little outdated but it was still okay. Pool’s were clean. Food was great. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.

Property needs a lot of maintenance. Rooms are falling apart. Appliances super old and ac not working properly. Reports were made and no one took care of the issues.

First the changes to an “upgrade room” the ac didn’t work the bathroom door hinge was broken so the door didn’t closed, the fridge was leaking water all the way to the kitchen almost slipped and fall, the mini bat was never stocked until you called and ask for it. They kept saying the will fix the ac and two days later they finally sent someone to realized that we were telling the truth finally two days later the switch us a room where the ac worked but the mini fridge didn’t work, finally before we are ready to leave the room was ok. The buffet have the same food for 4 days you supposed to make reservations for the other restaurants at 9am but at 9:03am you won’t find more reservations so we are the same buffet food for 4 days. The house keeping lady was really nice she actually took good care and all the buffet servers were awesome that was pretty much it. I will definitely never comeback to this place, don’t let them fool you with the pictures on the website the place definitely don’t look like that at all

Enjoyed the breakfast balcony every morning

My number one complaint is the air conditioning in the rooms. It is over a 100° during my stay there. They move me to 2 different rooms. And the AC was not working, it was horrible.
Need a lot of maintenance. They need to remodel the rooms. They're outdated stuff's broken. I will never stay there again

Staff was great. Had a lot of entertainment for the kids. We got a family room. The bed for our kids had bugs and they changed our room on the day of check in. The second room the AC didn’t work so we had to change rooms again on the second day. They can do slightly better in cleaning the rooms.

This place has seen better days. It’s old and tired and you get what you pay for. In the seven days we were there the room was serviced three times at most. I had to ask for clean towels several times.
The furniture in my room was ratty, drawers and doors wouldn’t open or stayed closed. It’s great fun for kids but leaves a lot to be desired for adults. The food was less than second rate.

Food was great, tons of options, kids pool area was a huge hit with our toddler. The staff was awesome. Beach was great. Room was very clean. Definitely an older hotel but they've done well looking after it.

The food was great but the property needs major renovation and better ac units. Was truly disappointed

Rooms were not the best, their toilets and AC did not work well. Had to move rooms twice with 3 kids( not fun) food quality was horrible not many options for people who can’t have seafood or for children. Drinks were limited at the restaurants and the bar they were okay. Staff was a bit rude sometimes not the friendliest. Location was okay close to airport but 15-20 min to downtown in Taxi.entertainment was horrible only interaction with clients in Spanish never once spoke English. Kids pool area was great but needed more supervision as older kids would not being too safe

Where do I start.. this resort is TERRIBLE!! Please save your money. I came with my family of 5 stayed for 6 nights. As soon as you get there their clothes hanging out the balconies. The resort is run down and Needs major upgrades. Our room was dirty had no towels. We tried to call the front office but the phone was as broken the buttons were carved off so we couldn’t dial. The employees were rude out of the 6 days not one day did anyone ask us for drink orders while at the pool. The cater to locals and ignore the tourist. The food at the buffet was ok. Reservations at the restaurants are non existent! We weren’t able to attend not even one night. The pools are old and missing tiles. The kids liked the water park but the water was sooo dirty! It had band aids, hair, particles of god knows what . I will never attend this resort!! Please please save your money! I will be posting on google with pictures of toilets with poop splatter, updated pools, and real life updates pictures of resort!!! Don’t be fooled by the pictures those are old!

Not super clean. Staff wasn't overly friendly. Entertainment was lacking.

We originally booked a family room. All the family rooms face a junky looking alley. They were very accommodating and moved us to a standard room with an ocean and pool view the next day. I would definitely book there again, but just would advise everyone to book a standard room instead of one of the cool family rooms (unless the view doesn't matter to you)

PROS:
The staff at the resort were amazing!! Specifically Andrea in the buffet and Johnny and Paola at the activities pool!
Great location. Right by the marina where the cruise ships port so it was cool watching the ships come and go throughout the week. There was also a nice little flea market by the marina so you were within walking distance of some souvenir shopping. If you want to go further into Puerto Vallarta by the boardwalk, it was a short cab ride away.
The beach was clean and beautiful. Nice sand, waves were not too big so kids were easily able to play in the water. We never had a problem finding beach chairs.
We enjoyed the activities at the activity pool (zip line for the kids, giant chess game, ping pong). Never had a problem finding a chair at the pool with lots be of umbrellas to provide shade if desired.
CONS:
The resort is very dated and it shows (tiles missing from pools, paint chipped, etc).
The food was average at best in the buffet and snack bar with not a huge variety. The restaurants were good but the booking system makes it almost impossible to get a reservation (you literally have to go on every day at 9:01am or you will miss the window to book).
The pools were not always the cleanest.
The family rooms are nice to have the bunk bed but they are located on a roadway (away from the ocean), do not have balconies and there is zero privacy in the bathroom as the doors to the shower and toilet are opaque and do not lock.

Property is good but a little old, food wasn’t the best. Service and hotel staff were very helpful and fun.

The cleaning staff was rude, slow, and often lied to us about when the room would be cleaned and then pretend they couldn't understand english when challenged on it later. Sometimes they would knock on the door, to clean the room only to run away when we answered the door because they just wanted to say they came to clean but we didn't answer. I say this because no matter how fast I answered the door, the person who knocked would be walking away when I opened the door, and then refused to acknowledge me as I walked after them begging them to come clean the room. In the week we were there our room was cleaned only 3 times. This made the whole trip feel kind of gross.

We loved to beach and the view to the ocean
Our room was dirty and there was bed bugs, my entire body is covered in bug bites which made my sleep terrible due to the itching.
I asked for a different room and the new room was not very clean and the bathroom smelled like pee so bad. We closed the bathroom door because of the bad smell and had to use the public restroom downstairs. Most of the workers at the hotel don’t speak english no one really helps much. The safe in my room got locked and it took 2 different ppl to unlock it. It might be all inclusive and looks like a good deal but I highly not recommend this resort to anyone. Now I am afraid the bed bugs might be in the luggage and I pray to God not to bring the bed bugs home.

Friendly staff & beautifully setting.

Good location, great beaches, close to cruise ship terminal, walking distance to two shopping malls and an artisan market, quiet cul-de-sac street
2.0
Food and staff service was very good, but the property is too old and is not well maintained, rooms are so basic, and some furnitures were broken, carpet at kids club really dirty, and a lot of areas not clean. I understand is a 3 1/2 start hotel but a little of cleaning and maintenance will make a difference
