The Space:
Welcome to Harmony Ranch, a newly remodeled modern getaway in the charming town of Three Rivers. Just 14 minutes to the entrance of Sequoia National Park, where you can check out some of the oldest and largest living things on earth — giant sequoia trees! In the other direction, you’re just 8 minutes away from Lake Kaweah and its aquatic recreation.
Nestled in a safe, quiet, and cozy, family-friendly neighborhood, you’ll find Harmony Ranch has plenty of room for parking an RV or a boat. Enjoy contactless entry as you step into our take on a modern vacation home oasis.
On the ground floor, you’ll find a vaulted ceiling over a sleek dining room with enough room to seat 8, and a cozy breakfast nook where you might enjoy a quick meal.
Nestled in one corner is the master bedroom, featuring a king bed and plenty of natural light. Pocket doors provide an added entrance to the main bathroom, accessible from the main living space or the bedroom.
Nearby is a small bedroom packed with sleeping space: a set of low bunk beds with stairs (not a ladder!) to get up to the top bunk. There’s even a trundle bed if you need to get one more person in on this slumber party room.
Before heading into the kitchen, check out the coffee bar. We’ve got you covered no matter how you prefer your caffeination: Keurig, drip, french press, even an electric kettle for tea. The recently remodeled kitchen has everything you need to cook a great meal after a day out exploring nature: crock pot, toaster oven, mixer, knives, utensils, pots and pans, and of course plenty of plates, bowls, silverware, cups, glasses and mugs.
Around the corner in the living room, make yourself at home on our luxurious leather couch or cozy up next to the fully enclosed gas fireplace. It turns on with just a flick of a switch, no wood needed! The flat-screen smart TV is Roku, so you can get caught up or binge your favorite Netflix shows. We stocked the place with a ton of our favorite board games too, because those always bring families together for fun.
From here, you can see the upstairs landing and balcony that leads to another bedroom. It’s the only room on the second floor and has its own en suite bathroom.
Step through the sliding glass doors out of the living room and into the spacious backyard. Enjoy your morning coffee on the patio with a view of the mountains, or catch up in the evening around the propane-powered fire table. Grill up some dinner on the barbecue, soak your tired muscles in the luxurious 7-person hot tub, or just do endless cartwheels out in the grass. There’s a covered hang space with lounge furniture and a bar for pouring drinks or preparing a meal. Out here, you’ll find games like horseshoes and cornhole.
Leaving the kitchen, you’ll pass through the laundry room on the way to the garage that we have converted into a game room and ultimate hangout space. Get comfortable on the couch to watch the 65” Roku tv, play some retro Pac-Man, or challenge your family to a game of giant Connect-4 or giant Jenga.
Keep going through the garage and you’ll reach the private, secluded fourth bedroom. This room doesn’t have its own bathroom, but it has plenty of peace and solitude if you need to get something done or just get away from the rest of the group. While the main house has central heating and a/c, the garage and extra bedroom run off their own heating and cooling units to keep you comfortable.
All beds have premium memory foam mattresses to help you get a great night’s sleep. Both bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and both showers have detachable massage shower heads. You’ll have access to blazing-fast WiFi throughout the house so you can stream, work, game, or chat to your heart’s content.
At Harmony Ranch, we have gone above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need and more for the perfect vacation home. Come see why we think this is the ideal spot for exploring Sequoia National Park, Lake Kaweah, and making memories.
Guest Access:
You’ll have access to the entire house and backyard!
The Neighborhood:
Three Rivers is the gateway to Sequoia National Park and Lake Kaweah. It is known for the many artists who live and work here, and you’ll find the work of local artists in our home. Harmony Ranch is located in a family-friendly, quiet residential neighborhood. This area is well known for its safe atmosphere and old-fashioned characteristic of kids playing outside. We're just off the city's main street though, and seconds away from shopping and restaurants. There is plenty of reliable cell phone service here as well.
Getting Around:
Our gravel driveway is huge and can easily accommodate your cars. If you need to park something bigger like an RV or a boat, that will work too.
Other Things to Note:
What to expect: this is a family neighborhood with plenty of cell service, so it doesn’t feel too rural despite being in a relatively rural area. You might spot or hear wild turkeys wandering the streets! Being that this is still a rural community in the foothills of the Sierras, you can also expect bugs. We have a regular pest control service as well as a zapper and citronella candles available for your comfort in the backyard, but a few might still sneak through.
Summers in Three Rivers are hot! While the game room and side bedroom have small a/c units, they are not as strong and powerful as the central air conditioning to the rest of the house. This might affect your comfort on extremely hot days.
Water pressure in this area is limited and the water we use is valuable. We have a tankless water heater for endless hot water.
Interaction with Guests:
We will be available via phone/text/email if you need anything during your stay, but we are not on site.

We stayed here for a family vacation to visit Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Harmony Ranch provided a lovely home base for our crew. It was a fun place to hang out during our downtime, super kid, teen, and pet friendly.

The check in process for the house was easy and straightforward. The house provided ample space for my family. On the first evening, after using the downstairs bathroom shower, the shower and toilet clogged. We started to see “stuff” come up in the bathtub and about 2 hours later realized that we had a tub full of leeches. I immediately called the host number that was available on the app. The person I spoke to was helpful and said he would notify someone else. He encouraged for me to communicate only thru the app. We waited 3 hours before we heard back from anyone. A plumber fixed the problem the next day but we discovered that leeches were still present under the bathtub mat. Not one of my 3 kids had any interest in using this bathroom so our whole family would use the upstairs bathroom and shower for the remainder of our trip. Not fun at all!
The outdoor temperature during our stay was 107. We kept the AC running but found that it constantly turned off and liked to remain in the 78-80 region. Every single night I would wake up to turn the AC back on because it would turn itself off regardless of the temp set. The central AC was not reliable. We have frequented many VRBO properties and found this experience to be the worst one. Our rate was ~$350 and feel very strongly that the property needs TLC for that price. We had a great time in the national park but our stay could have been a lot better. My kids journaled about the trip and labeled this property as the leech house.

The home is beautiful and exactly as described in the listing. We had plenty of space for 5 adults to sleep and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook dinner. We used the hot tub, grill, and fire pit in the evening and it was very relaxing! Thank you for sharing your property with us!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Harmony Ranch and can recommend it to visit Sequoia NP as a group. The house is clean, spacious and well maintained. The game room is awesome to hang out with friends and play games. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the hot tub for 2 nights, but the host was very responsive and helped us to resolve the issue.

I had another booking reserved but they canceled my reservation due to a broken pipe. I found this listing and they accommodated us. The house was clean and it was a lot bigger then the pictures show. My kids loved the under the staircase reading room and the game room in the attached garage.

My family and I enjoyed our stay in Three Rivers except for the air conditioning in two rooms. The location was good, and we loved the fire pit and spa.
We were a group of five adults (two couples) and two children. The garage game room and the bedroom past the garage were both to hot to use. The air conditioning was unable to cool those two rooms enough to be comfortable. The couple trying to use that bedroom could not sleep in there. If the weather was cooler I am sure the rooms would have been fine.

7 of us spent a long weekend at this property and had a most relaxing time. The location was perfect (we were visiting Sequoia National Park and this was 10 minutes form the main entrance to the Park) and we enjoyed the small town feeling of Three Rivers. The property was clean, large, everything worked, it was well stocked and had lots of games indoor and outdoor. Our toddlers loved the "harry potter room" under the staircase, while our teenage friend enjoyed the jaccuzi. There was plenty of sleeping areas (more than what the photos offer) all with comfortable beds. The only surprise was that the weather in Three Rivers was 30 degrees warmer than in the Park itself.
