Bed was comfy and clean
First off thought I’d get a drink and paid £6.34 for a pint which I’m sorry is absolutely disgusting pricing.
Shower head feel off. Bathroom is Tatty and being on the top floor, I barely fit in the shower with the roof slant being in the way

Comfortable Bed, Good food
Awkward step just inside the door and outside of the bathroom. Also prevented chairbeing placed correctly at the dressing table. Wardrobe door sometimes opened on its own (Spooky!) Shower was very cramped.

Clean towels and sheets. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Good food, when it arrived!
Decor was terrible. In my room wallpaper peeling off, bathroom shelf and loo roll holder missing. Had to prop the window open. Waited a long time for breakfast and in fact everything we asked for. Fresh toast didn't arrive at all. Very little parking in carpark.

Dinner and breakfast menu good and varied. Dining room pleasant and comfortable. Bedroom was cosy, beds comfortable, lovely and warm especially the bathroom. Well equipped with hairdryer, iron and ironing board.
Breakfasts very good but food could have been a little hotter. Everything else was fine, no other moans!

Food, both breakfast and dinner was excellent. We had planned on only eating the first night of our stay but it was so nice we ate both nights.
Bathroom in Room 8 could do with a freshen up,i.e rusty shave mirror, mirror light not working, sink plug broken, toilet seat loose.General paintwork is in need of a freshen up as well.Rusty radiators are not a nice look either.....
Lots of stairs to get to room 8 which is a twin room up in the roof.

Room was spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful
The food was below average and found a hair in it - the staff were very sorry and sorted it above satisfaction.
The shower temp was stuck on hot and very hard to change to cool.

Great location, staff and breakfast
Bed seemed a bit small and bathroom could be more modern

Good food
Tired bathroom and a bit in the room on headboard

the outside of the property is very nice and location is also very good, 10 minute drive to Bradford upon Avon.
very very outdated, especially the bathrooms, our ceiling looked like it was going to cave in, the shower head was all cracked, the shower curtain was disgusting and the whole bathroom had a bad smell. Bedroom was liveable and bed as comfy, but all new decor required.

Love the Inn, has great character, rooms are lovely, food great & staff very welcoming.
Couldn't adjust the temperature down on the shower.

An old inn which was in keeping with the lovely Beckington village
possibly the lounge area in the bar which could do with some new comfortable chairs

Room was clean and comfortable
Price didn't include breakfast. No air extraction in bathroom. Facilities showing wear and tear. Limited car parking spaces.

Great staff, lovely warm welcome.
Good food just what I needed after a days cycling.

Friendly staff
Room was stuffy and tatty. The single bed was too narrow making a good nights sleep impossible for me, others might be ok but at 6ft 2 it was too narrow. The bathroom was very tatty. The whole place lacks investment.

Old, historic inn with parking and a good restaurant. The room was clean, nicely decorated and squeaky nice;) just like in an old house. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast delicious and the staff smiling and helpful.
The bathroom was a bit too small and only a short person could use the bath shower due to the low sloped ceiling. It was not, however, a serious inconvenience. We only stayed there one night and the charm of this old inn was really amazing.

The breakfast was very nice and plenty of it.
Everything was good.

Staff were very friendly, food was amazing and the family room was a brilliant size.
The rooms were a bit dark and the bathroom was a bit dated.

Nice and friendly staff, and the food was good.
The room was a bit tired and in need of a spruce up.

Nice stopover pub with rooms near Longleat. Staff were friendly & evening meals & breakfasts all pretty good. Good sized room and although a bit dated, bath comfy and plenty of hot water. Good shower. Free parking just outside the pub.
Nothing really. Room just bit dated and we needed to ask for a couple of towels for the kids, but apart from that it was a great stopover place (for Longleat visit).

Very old and tired. broken furniture, handles missing, poor repairs to decor, not very clean

The food was excellent with a varied choice and well presented. The staff were efficient and friendly.
The decor was badly in need of updating and the room we had needs a complete refurbishment. Lack of parking.

Room was rather shabby and bathroom needs replacing.
