the room was amazing. exactly as pictured. very strong hot shower, the layout was well thought out. the private pool was perfect temperature. nice to have 2 restaurants to choose from, two pools.
when we arrived, no one to greet us or help with luggage. we were directed to wait in the lounge area to check in, but most of the tables were dirty/not bussed. we were introduced to a staff member and his assistant who would be our contacts thru the stay, never saw them again. communication is abysmal. I sent messages via booking to inform allergy/ask for spa menu so I could make appointments already, never read. emailed, IG DM, nothing. we were told to what’s app during our stay if we needed anything, no one read these either. unfortunately as anticipated, spa was booked up already on arrival day. it’s a really nice resort but unlike the previous 2 hotels in visayas, there was none of that connection with staff.

The best part about Amorita aside from the amenities and the extremely accessible location, is by far the staff. The hospitality we experienced here is world class. From the moment you enter the van going to the resort to the moment you check-out, everyone here is so warm, kind, friendly, and can answer any and all of your needs in a snap. They are the biggest reason we recommend Amorita to friends and family, as well as to future travelgoers in Panglao Island.
Of course, we can't forget about how close Amorita is to Alona Beach, which is a public beach for all, and they have free activities to enjoy upon booking such as archery, yoga at dawn (Wed and Sat only), biking, snorkeling, kayaking, paddle-boarding, etc. They also have two infinity pools with amazing views of the sea, so you can't be left wanting.
The spa is also another A+ experience for us, with bang-for-buck services and relaxation all around. We went twice to get two different massages and we were pleased every time.
They don't have a lot of choices for food on the property itself. Saffron resto is where you go to have breakfast, and while the breakfast buffet is good enough for the price, the rest of the menu is decent but way too expensive for what you get. The Lost Cow was another shockingly expensive restaurant on the property, but the food there was much more delicious despite the high price range. If you want more wallet-friendly choices, you'll need to walk along Alona Beach and find restaurants there. This isn't so much a complaint, so much as it is a by-the-by, to prepare for your trip.

The accomodation was great, the staff were exellent and the location was beautiful.
Not enough hot water to the shower for both of us to enjoy.

great location, beautiful infinity pools, big and comfortable bed. Nice separate shower ans toilet with dual sinks. Staff are very friendly, beautiful view of the ocean from the restaurant and good food. the property is so lush and green, lots of space and clean.
Although this place is beautiful, I don’t think its worth the value. Some structures in the room need some fixing and so are the other things around the property. The resort is at the end of Alona beach and you have to take a trike or walk to get there, there was a big muddy flood in the middle of the road that you kinda have to walk around it, it’s not what you would expect if you are paying $450+/night to stay in a luxury resort. We were put in a 3rd floor with no lift, it’s not a deal breaker though.

Great location overlooking Alona Beach smack bang in the middle fo Panglao. Location, location, location.
We were given the wrong room key initially caused us to walk in on an old couple deep in sleep in their room. No towels for the pool. No hot water in the room. Despite the agreement in writing, no flowers and champagne were left in our room for my wife's birthday. The room was quite dirty, as in you could almost not even see out of the windows. The blase attitude of the front of the house associated with these issues was bad.

The ambiance, amenities and location were all excellent. It wasn’t too busy when we were there. It might not have been so good if it was fully booked.
There was no option to book a room with a large double bed and one single bed.

I liked the facility and the location. Staff were nice and friendly. The private sea view pool villa was great.
Staff are not prepared to handle questions related to touristic places. I have asked several questions and i needed assistance but they were unable to assist because don't know how to solve it. Unlike Thailand islands hotels staff they are more easy and helpful.

Place was relaxing & peaceful even if there were many guests. Hotel staff seemed happy to have guests there and took good care of us , always friendly and attentive. Rooms are great too.
Very Easy to reach the desk / housekeeping when you are at the resort but longer waiting / response time when trying to reach reservations or front desks mobile before the trip / when away from the resort. Had to follow up reservations email via phone to get a reply

Beach- the private cove is close, we cannot use, we use tge public beach & yet its so expensive. Toilet smells.. We apwnbd almoat 100k,no bonus or any oriviledge. Sounds at tge party we jv in the garden is on & off(music).
Breakfast : perfect but looking forward on local longanisa fr cebu.
Pool- pool near the restaurant in the lani area has lots of ants. We were bitten.
But good view though. L
Too far from beach, my mom had a fall on your walking pavement area near gym and shes seniir citizen already.
But was treated by staff anyway.
Just wondering if that staff is a nurse or aomeone cleaning the pool aid. I just s him doing that afyerwards.

All staff were very helpful, courteous, and considerate.
Facilities are well maintained even if they were affected by the typhoon Odette.
The calming resort-feel.
The food!! All delicioso!
Very weak internet in the area. Even if I don't connect to the hotel wifi, I still can't get any signal.
The access to their own beach is still closed.
The repairs being done at Hennan is an eyesore :(

The food served for breakfast can still be improved a little bit. I want to see more fruits, and selection of real breakfast food. The pool is great, the beach is just so so.
The menu can still be improved by adding other dishes. For me, it's limited choices. So, some of the guest tends to dine outside.
