The rooms are tastefully appointed, staff were friendly and attentive to guest’s needs. The property is well located in a quiet area but still close to cafes etc. will definitely be back
Would be more convenient if breakfast was served on location

I liked the location (close to beach), and also the ivy covered, charming exterior of the building. Very picturesque.
The service was terrible. The dirty towels used by the previous guests were still hanging from the door hook. The front desk guy did replace them once I pointed out. There is no view from the first floor room. The door to the small outside area was defective. The curtain rod kept falling everything we pulled the blinds.
Checking out was problematic. The staff apparently cannot not charge the credit card unless one is physically present. Plan accordingly.
There is only one staff member at any given time, a rital of two staff who work in 12 hour shifts. Half the time they are sleeping at the desk.
This is a barebone 1.5 star lodge.

Location was especially amazing, great area for food/shopping.

staff were incredibly helpful. Jude, who works at the sister hotel Old Harbour went above and beyond to make our stay special and help organise our trip - thank you!
beautiful building in the heart of town

Perfect location, in a much quieter area of the old quarter, beautiful aesthetic.
Room 5 (our original room) was amazing - spacious, subtle, private, cosy, with a large bathroom. We chose to extend our stay at the property and had to move to room 3 (in fairness the owner did accommodate us last minute) but room 3 was dismal. Bathroom was a mosquito filled sauna with no fan, AC was unpleasantly loud, and the light and noise from the street was really annoying (there are for some strange reason, people taking photos out the front of the place constantly). Moral of the story: book your stay in Room 5!

location was very good
Description states seating area! there is no seating area at all, it’s just a very very basic dark room with a reasonable en suite but described as deluxe. Night staff like to “chat” quite loudly with their friends, but at 0200, I wish they’d do it elsewhere and a bit quieter. when mentioned the next morning it appears as if it was “oh well”!! I won’t be staying here again. Very very basic room, especially for price.

Water clogging in the bathroom. It wasn't cleaned even after asking.
Staff didn't even offer help with the luggage. No invoice provided.

The location
the staff has no communication amongst each other, while one person extended our stay in the morning the other staff cancelled it and asked us to check out due to over booking. The rooms are dingy with a moist smell and not lit at all. there are much better stays available in the area for the same or lesser price.

Lovely decor and pretty roof garden upstairs. Nice big bathroom. Great location in Fort Kochi.

Beautiful and clean rooms with an old world charm. Also the outside looks super lovely.
Very nice staff, always ready to help. Close to all main cafes and restaurants at Fort Kochi.
None I can think of.

Incredible location, and very welcoming. Our plane arrives at 4 am, but they helped book a taxi for us, didn't even have to wait in line at the airport, and they stayed up until almost 6 am to welcome us (though had to book from the day before of course).
We were moving on the next day, but they let us keep our luggage there for several hours, which was nice. They also suggested a great little art cafe down the street for lunch (called "Kashi").
The only miniature complaint, if I had to make one, was the extra cot bed we requested for our 6 year old daughter was quite hard, she couldn't sleep on it, so she won't with us, which was okay, because the bed was very large, easily slept three people!

Great location in calm area of Fort Kochi. Traditional and beautiful house. Breakfast was served in art cafe around the corner.
No proper communication during check-in. Room was not cleaned, still full trash bins from previous guests. Leaking shower and bathroom very smelly. Poor English by staff, more occupied with their smart phones.

the location of the property is super convenient and the facade of the hotel is really beautiful! The staff are also very kind and welcoming!
We had an issue in the downstairs room that unfortunately couldn’t be fixed (the staff really tried)…. therefore we had to checkout early.

Great location, helpful staff, nice rooms
AC was loud, curtains were not blackout curtains and did not keep out light from the street, there was no blanket (needed to use the AC)

Comfort, location, facilities
A water filter would have been good, to refill my bottle

We had a beautiful room with a balcony. The rooms are spacious and well designed (great colour palette). Staff was always helpful and lovely but there is no one cleaning the rooms! We stayed for a week and did really enjoyed it! Perfect location in Fort Kochi!
No room cleaning.
