We will revisit
Close to home and secluded
Potentially being disturbed by an appt the owners had for the property ( water ), they wanted access while we were there..and not actually home at the time ..not good we are private people and should not have asked us..awkward

Accessible while remote, comfortable and well equipped- perfect for a family with dogs too!
As described, homely, comfortable and a great tranquil setting.
I bought a scented candle and a couple of air fresheners as the aroma inside the house was improved by this. Nothing dirty, damp or otherwise, just needed a fresher twist and probably more to my own preference and heightened sense of smell.

A really lovely cottage in the woods, dog friendly and with great fireplaces
Lovely house, everything you can think of was provided, we had such a lovely time! The fires are great features, the kitchen is so well equipped and comfortable and the location is fantastic. The local Indian takeaway (Alcombe Tandoori) was very good, as well as all the information provided at the cottage. No TV! For us that was a bonus, we read books, played games etc. Very dog friendly as well, the pup was very happy there.
The dishwasher wasn't working and flooded, but the caretaker had a repairman out after the long weekend. The central heating pipes are rather noisy, especially at night, but we got used to it after a few days. If it rains heavily, the path to the house can be very slippery for car access

Perfect hideaway
Very tranquil, warm property. It was ideal for our weekend getaway. Very dog friendly. Lots of nearby walks. Angie the caretaker made sure our stay was trouble free.
The WiFi worked fine in the living room but patchy in the kitchen
