The room was excellent, spacey, clean and very comfortable. We had the Sunday roast and it was also excellent, I had the honey glazed ham and my partner had beef, we were both very impressed with it and the tasty veggies and gravy. We were so full unfortunately we couldn't have eaten a dessert. The breakfast was also very good. All in all our stay was really good and we would stay for longer next time we're up that way. All the staff were very friendly and efficient too. Thank you very much.
Nothing, we were 100 percent impressed.

We loved the warm welcome and friendly staff. The restaurant served delicious food and the room was clean, spacious and very comfortable.
The hotel is situated directly on a road. But there is not a lot of traffic.

The dog friendly room was excellent.
The food was very good.
The bins in the room needed emptying each day as we had two dogs and their food tins needed clearing.
There was not where too walk the dogs first in the morning and last at night as the road was very busy

The room was great, spacious with a very comfy bed, couch and large screen TV.
Breakfast was fine if you wanted a full Scottish, which I did, however a distinct lack of healthy options.

The place has such a nice feel to it. I loved the fire place and seating area which is great to sit and have a drink. The fact that it is dog friendly is such a bonus for us. I have to say that I have never been made so welcome in a hotel for a long time and the food was magic. Highly recommended

The whole team were friendly and helpful, there was a really positive atmosphere. The food was excellent, especially the Balmoral chicken.

Staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Room was large and very comfortable. Food (breakfasts and suppers) was of good quality, well cooked and very tasty.
Although the Hotel is sited on the corner of two minor A roads, the volume of heavy goods traffic was exceptional, made more disruptive and noisy by some driving too fast and having to brake very sharply at the junction beside the hotel. Whilst I can understand that some of the traffic is necessarily local farm traffic, much of it was very large HGVs, and there is a nearby motorway (M90) which such traffic should be using. Maybe the local authority could do something to ensure that such traffic transfers to the motorway?

Breakfast was generous & lovely.

Outstanding breakfast
Rooms on a busy main road and as there is no double glazing traffic noise was very loud and affected sleep. Recommend ear plugs. Very small shower towels.

A clean, comfortable bed. Not too much noise from the main road outside, we slept well. The food was good and reasonably priced, the wine list was verbal and somewhat limited.
