Great location, clean and comfortable, good breakfast, and great bed
4.2
Great location and price. Nice lobby with restaurant and bar. Friendly staff. Fit our needs perfectly.
4.2
It should be said that this hotel does NOT have A/C. This was not an issue for our stay considering it was 55f out and raining but the hotel does provide a large plugin fan so don’t let this deter you.
We have stayed at multiple hotels in Dublin and the Leonardo has the comfiest beds by far! The hotel has a great location, friendly staff, and decent food at the bar. Overall this was a 5 star stay and we would definitely stay here again.
4.2
The hotel was ideally located. You're close enough to the Temple Bar area to walk but just far enough away to avoid the noise.
4.2
Employees were very friendly and helpful. Employees made some great recommendations in the area.
4.2
Hotel needs upgrade in the rooms. View was very poor and noisy with people walking past the door in the early hours.
Dining - was told that due to a large group booking, only lunch menu available. Very poor so went out to local restaurant.
Staff (check in and check out) great.
4.2
Very friendly stay and made a birthday trip extra special

Loved it.

the church bells are constantly ringing so you can’t leave the windows open but there’s no air conditioning so you boil at night. the carpet is dark so you can’t see the dirt but you can feel it when you step out of bed that it’s not fully clean. the person who checked us in had no personality and was not very welcoming at all. on the positive side the bar staff was very friendly and helpful. there were no refrigerators in the room for my medication so had to continue to get ice from the bar. Not my favourite place to stay but it is actually close to many attractions.
4.2
The hotel is older and the rooms were very small. This hotel does not have air conditioning. The bathroom was very small and the door could not be kept open.
4.2
We had 3 rooms. Our rooms were not ready on time. A male staff member was rude at the front desk. They put us on 3 seperate floors..one being a garden room woth a view of trash and bicycles.
4.2
There is a car park attached to this city centre hotel the reduced parking rate being £25 for 24 hours so not cheap but handy.
Very busy at check in but with 3 desks they were doing their best. We were given a twin when a double booked but it was sorted.
Rooms aren’t very big and the TV so low when lying in bed you can’t see all the screen.
In all honesty the rooms need upgrading as tatty decor, just through wear and tear especially the tiny bathroom.
Only 15 mins walk from Guinness storehouse one way and 6 minutes to Temple bar the other way.
Be aware lots of homeless people in the area, all good and friendly with us but be prepared to see this side of Dublin.
4.2
Nice place that is next door to everything. Walking distance to Brazen Head, Temple Bar, Jameson Distillery and right next door to Bull and Castle. Taxis are waiting in the mornings and shuttle/bus service
4.2
Great location, easy to find and amazing meals.
4.2
The Service, the property, the staff were excellent, thank you
4.2
Rooms were very hot and road traffic is loud if facing the road. Room was clean Nd the breakfast was awesome. Restaurant was also good. Very helpful and attentive staff.
4.2
No air conditioning and very noisy when you leave the windows open at night. Rooms were much smaller than expected, but the central location was excellent. Breakfast was very good.
4.2
Ok
4.2
Needs updates! Many stains on the carpet, bathroom door wouldn’t stay open making it very uncomfortable to move around.
4.2
Hotel was in great area local to everything we were looking to do. Easy to walk to where we needed. Restaurants and pubs close by. Room was comfortable and clean. There was a fan in the room and windows that we could open (not use to that, we are from US). Lobby staff were helpful. Good security around the hotel as well. Would definitely recommend.
4.2
Good value, great location
4.2
In need of renovations
4.2
Old Hotel, rooms just Ok staff excellent bathroom old
Breakfast terrible, avoid it! They don't take plates away, no refilling staff very very inexperienced
4.2
The hotel is very nice with a great lobby, restaurant, and pub onsite. The bedrooms themselves and bathrooms are very tiny. The rooms get warm, even with the window open at night the fan provides in the room is not very powerful at all and is started with a short timer.
4.2
Convenient to the Temple Bar area and transportation options to and from the airport and around town. Rooms could probably could do with an upgrade and TV service was subpar if that matters. Staff bar and restaurant were great. No fridge or AC in room.
4.2
Reception staff very friendly and helpful
4.2
The hotel was perfect for our stay
4.2
Very centric and easy to walk to everything
4.2
We arrived very early after an overnight travel and were greeted and allowed early check in. It was an unexpected treat and we really appreciated the front desk staff.
4.2
Great staff. Great location. I recommend paying extra for the breakfast buffet.
4.2
Great view. I appreciated the sound proof windows. Walkability great. Great all you can eat breakfast. Very courteous staff.
4.2
Family stay. Overpriced. Hotel rooms are small and not great conditions. Bfast was good. Not far from city centre.
4.2
Great location, an easy walk to all of the Dublin City Centre sights. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast- highly recommend booking the breakfast included option.
4.2
Staff were really helpful, hotel in a great location
4.2
Made reservation for 2 rooms with 2 beds each. One room was a bed and a couch. Initially the response was that matched the reservation. After a little pressure, a room with 2 beds was provided.
4.2
This hotel is nice and excellently located. It’s a bit older overall: there aren’t enough plugs in the rooms and no USB plugs for phones etc.
It’s on a busy and noisy street however. Our room was on the first floor and with the windows open (no AC, FWIW) it was very noisy. We are all decently heavy sleepers including our 5 year old so it was fine but if you are a light sleeper, try to request a room that doesn’t face the street.
Location was perfect. We walked to Temple Bar and even were able to walk from the area around Trinity College Dublin to the hotel in about 10-15 mins. There’s a Hop On Hop Off bus stop around the corner. About 10 min walk to the Jameson Distillery too.
Price was reasonable relative to the cost of other hotels and AirBnBs.
