Very dated facility. Did not feel clean. The heat wasn't on a thermostat it was either full blast on constant or off. No comforter, just multiple layers of sheets. Carpet is disgusting. Would not recommend. Needs updating it wasn't something that could be cleaned better.

Terrible stay disgusting gross afraid to sleep in the bed without getting something. Cold dirty old as hell. We’ll never stay there again. Do not recommend this place to anyone.

One of the worst hotels I have stayed in a long time. Bad breakfast only on request, bad coffee, dilapidated rooms, barely functional bathrooms and heating systems. Had to change rooms because the sink faucet was broken.
Should be removed from Hotels.com listing

The toilet seat was broken. Either the cleaners didn't say anything or management didn't do anything about it. The complimentry breakfast wasn't set up. Bathroom didn't look clean enough so did feel comfortable taking a shower. So left in the morning when I could.

Days Inn was extremely run down, i.e. the tub had old tile and lots of chipped porcelain, the bathroom door had chipped paint and a delaminated bottom, and the wallpaper in the bedroom was peeling. The floor was also uneven. While the sheets seemed clean, they were threadbare. When we went down for breakfast, there was an extremely limited breakfast that we had to order from the front desk. When I asked the desk clerk whether they had anything with protein, she started telling me where else in town I could get groceries, which wasn't helpful since I expected a hotel breakfast. The lights were also off in the breakfast area. A guest turned on the lights, and one of the employees turned them back off again, saying something about people messing with the lights.

Just avoid this property at all cost

To be honest this hotel was way under kept. It was just old, dirty looking and multiple areas of disrepair. We cut our stay short a night.

Basic. Breakfast was included, but was terrible. And you had to order it at the front desk... i have been to similar hotels before, this by a lot is the worst breakfast I have ever seen. WOW! I would rather pay less and have no breakfast included, to be honest!

The beds had stains on it, the lock on the door did not work and the toilet kept running

Nice and clean - but this was the third Days Inn we’ve stayed at and they should just remove their complimentary “breakfast” as it is just bread, this one did not even have OJ.

The first thing we saw when we arrived was that the pool was full of dirty green water! A sign said it closed, well okay then drain it! There was even a still-inflated tube floating in it!
The room itself was okay, but everything looked rundown, some things were broken, and the carpet was gross. The a/c looked new, but we didn’t need it.
There was zero breakfast at 8:30 am, even though it was supposed to be included, and there was an area that looked set up for breakfast, but there was no food or even coffee there.
The staff was mostly absent, though nice enough when we checked in, after I rang the bell and waited a minute.
Also the whole place wreaked of old cigarette smoke.

This hotel needs a serious clean up, from broken glass bottles in the parking lot area to every single wall, carpet, bathrooms, etc. Breakfast was terrible. There is a lot of trash.

Faucet handle in bathroom not attached, fan didn’t work, locks on door missing, holes in walls in bathroom, breakfast options poor, door key lock worked sporadically, there was a working ice maker. Would not recommend this hotel. Good location for getting to most places in Bellingham, but very sketchy neighborhood.

Horrible and unsafe. Terrible smell and falling apart. Flies everywhere. Deadbolt broken.

This is easily the worst hotel I have ever experienced in real life. Where do I start? Upon arrival we noticed the pool, which was so wildly filthy and dirt ridden that using it was clearly not an option or a smart health choice. We then had to pay a $100 deposit we weren't notified of. After that we went to our room and there was bugs in the shower and bathroom. We then used the bathroom sink and food immediately came up out of the drain. Peas from a cup o noodle to be exact. Then choosing to close the door the door handle was barely installed and nearly fell off in my hand. We tried to turn on the TV, didn't work. We then tried to use the microwave and found a cup used for drug cooking inside. Moving back to the bathroom to shave we saw huge globs of hair on the wall. There was dirt and grime in every single corner of the room. The "balcony" is a literal safety hazard with old BBQs and trash scattered throughout. Did I mention the ice machines not working and the back entry door card reader with a note that says "swipe card really fast 4 times". Just atrocious and insanely filthy. I wouldn't book this location for my worst enemy. Horrific.

It was cheap and did the job. Waited at front desk for a long time to check in, barely said a word to us.
The pool was almost green and couldn’t swim.
Only time they were nice was when asked to complete a survey.
Here it is.

Keep it simple, for one night it was exactly what we needed. Close to downtown and close to the bike trails.

I have photos, I observed possible black mold in the bathroom, damaged shower tub & tiles (look like the were hit with a hammer), obvious signs of water damage in/on ceiling in shower area. There was discolored textured ceiling by the rooms window. The brown? dark colored wallpaper covering is rippled at the outer wall corner. There were piles of trash bags in the hallway to the rear door with evidence of food waste that was seen through the bag. Trash bags proximity to the rear door is, in my opinion, an invitation to rodents entering the building. I would greatly appreciate discussing my stay further with anyone from Wyndham.

And older and somewhat unmaintained property. There was NO breakfast. Powered coffee creamer, sugar packets and weak coffee is on the counter in the morning.
DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Consider staying elsewhere

There was no breakfast as advertised we were there for 4 days no housekeeping service and the remote control didn't work

It was a simple yet good hotel. Nothing fancy, but it pretty much satisfies our requirements. Has TV and entertainment channels to spend a night. There were some good restaurants close by. Breakfast was below average (no fruits, yogurt, or eggs)

Staff was not friendly. We only had two small bath towels in our room (double Queen room with 3 adults on the reservation), and when we asked for another towel the person at the front desk said we had to return one we had used in order to get another one. The breakfast area/lobby was dark and uninviting with very limited food and drinks.

The bathroom was dirty and there were people hanging out in the parking lot that were not staying at the days inn. Individual was sleeping in his car. We have stayed at days inn the past and they were great places to stay. Never have o been so disappointed. We will never stay at another days inn

This hotel is older with some updates. The hallway has no carpet, which makes it very loud. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. Breakfast was all cold carbohydrates. It was OK for one night layover.

When booking it said newly renovated and I would disagree. Air conditioner didnt work properly, bathroom not updated. Toliet see and bathtub old and paint peeling. Only good thing how close to the downtown area

"Continental breakfast" was coffee, orange juice, Eggo waffles, cereal, and orange juice. The pitcher of milk left out for use was soured and past its expiration date. Bathtub in bathroom looked dirty. All fixtures were old and outdated. But it was safe enough for a 2 star hotel in a less-than-desirable, inexpensive part of town.

Rooms werent well maintained, my shower had a leaky faucet but the customer service was great

The pictures on the website are misleading. The property had lots of wear and tear, not very clean, lots of stains and damage in the room. Fine for a quick sleep but not worth the price.

We first were given the keys for room 216. We put all our stuff on the luggage stand as the carpets were filthy. The room smelt bad and over the bathtub was falling in and had mold. Wallpaper was peeling off ,walls were dirty so we asked to get our money back and we go to another hotel, he refused Expedia staff talk to him he was adamant. He was not giving us our money back. He said we could have a different room so we were moved up to 306. It smelled a lot better carpets were a little bit cleaner. The grout in the bathroom was filthy. the wallpaper was peeling in this room also. However, the mattresses were comfortable. Other people heard us arguing with him at the desk so other people asked to see their rooms first before they signed any documents. One woman that was right behind us ended up leaving she was so disgusted with conditions of the room, she was assigned. We would never stay there again, even though it was convenient. I would've taken pictures, but we were so disappointed. I even told him at one time I was staff in a hotel and that the rooms were tossed every two months and carpets were cleaned and mattresses and mattress covers were all disinfected and all bedding was cleaned and if it needed painting, it was done.

I think the biggest concern was the lack of security. The front door said it was locked behind a certain point and required a key, but it did not. Our room did not have a door stop latch, just the regular door knob latch. As girls traveling alone, we felt the need to barricade the door while sleeping since we did not feel particularly safe. The room itself was worn, needing a repaint, and the bedding was stained. I would not stay here again, especially for $200 a night.

Staff was friendly. Hotel is older and could use some upgrading. They provided a modest but adequate breakfast.

Cleanliness was not a problem. This is a very old facility, and relatively inexpensive. First problem we had was with shower not seeming to work. A brother-in-law staying there told me to just pull the tub water supply very hard. That got the shower working. Second problem we had was that sitting on the right side of the bed caused the light at the left side of the bed to turn off. Seems crazy. The problem was that the wall plug providing electricity to the left light was being moved by subtle pressure from bed movement.. The breakfast was of adequate but poor quality, compared to other facilities we have seen. Good coffee and OJ, otherwise minimal. We would not stay at this site again.

This is a very very dated Wyndham Days Inn hotel and overpriced ($227/night for 2 queen beds) via a 3rd party site (Expedia).
Our initial impression was I was entering a seedy hotel ..
There is NO ELEVATOR so if you are on the 3rd floor, you are carrying ALL of your luggage upstairs (who knew elevators were not mandatory in a hotel ...?!)
The room was sizeable
Mattresses are old (totally flex, nearly collapse/give way when sitting on the edge of bed) but overall mattress comfort level was decent. There was a very soft and plushy blanket between the sheets which was nearly the best part of the room. Pllows were also comfortable.
the room decor is sparse. Weird bubbling on the walls near the wall joints by the front window (? wallpaper). Carpet/ paint and air conditioner very old; stains on carpet (ie: under bathroom sink)
it did have 2 sinks, 1 in the bathroom and then 1 in the main room which was convenient
Cable TV only (no option for connecting to ie: Netflix)
Breakfast area is directly across from check in/ front desk; small seating section. (we missed breakfast so can't comment on food selection)
There is a small pool at the front of the hotel parallel to the front hotel parking & also closest to the street sidewalk (we didn't use the pool).
Front desk staff was courteous.
Pictures on website nicer than hotel in person
Previous grades for this hotel (5/10) likely on par w/ our overall experience.

The building really is falling apart and it is not sanitary. We got in and the toilet was dirty and not flushed, were moved to another room that stunk so bad. The manager was nice enough but Holly smokes, it is not worth $200 a night.
2.0 / 5.0
It was so loud! I could hear everyone in the hallway and the people above us sounds like the ceiling was going to give out. Walls and ceilings have no sound proofing what so ever.

We booked this based on the pool that looked beautiful online. However when we arrived the pool was very dirty and not usable. When we spoke to the staff member, we were informed that the pool would be clean in 3 hours after the chemicals had done their work. By that point it would be too late to use the pool. They refused to give us a refund so we will never be booking with DaysInn again.
2.0 / 5.0
The bed was worn out that had a terrible mattress. The breakfast that was included was not very good and ran out of many things. The TV in the eating room did not work. The coffee was empty. The cereals were empty the swimming pool had green growth floating on the top, and the bottom of the pool was green. The location was the only good thing.
