Very decent budget accommodation. I wasn’t happy about the large amount of mold on the bathroom ceiling, but I was happy about how quickly the staff got someone in to clean it after I told them about it. The room itself was very small but clean, warm, and safe-feeling.

It seriously needed a complete renovation.
Carpet in my room is dirty and has stains on it.
Pillow a bit hard, and very squeaky bed and floor!
Very tiny shower area in toilet only just managed to fit in and drain is partially clogged and very slow to drain, i thought it would overflow while i was having a shower and flood the whole toilet thus i kept turning the water on and off while having a shower.
The only plus point was the staffs were really helpful.
Will not stay there ever again!!!

I want to say I will not recommend this "Hotel" to people for four reasons:
1. The room is cold at night because the heating is off overnight.
2. Basic washing items such as shower gel and shampoo are not provided for customers at the Hotel level.
3. The main door of the hotel is controlled by the hands of the hotel staff (owner) so every time the customer can not enter without his permission.
4. The staff (owner) was not polite and shouted at me "Why only you" when I needed him to open the main door as the remote control was out of work.
3.5
Comfortable, clean and convenient. Nothing to write home about and a little tired in places, but very good value for money.

Could not fault it really, would very happily stay again

The hotel is cozy and comfy. The owner and his wife are kind, friendly and always ready to help, his promptness for service is outstanding.
3.5
The hotel was conveniently located and close to shops, eating places and London Paddington train station. The cost could have included breakfast in it.
3.5
Horrible hotel filthy smelly just horrible can’t believe it does not get shut down. Don’t stay here

Staffs are friendly ,the room is very tiny that there is only one square tea table of around 1.5 sq feet, but a tv is put on it. You need to choose either watch the tv or use the table for the hot water boiling and cups. Suggest hang the tv on the wall. Shower head is fixed and small, suggest use a larger hand held shower head is much better.

For the price, it's hard to complain. The room was clean with toiletries issues, a kettle, tea/coffee. My only complaint would be we found the mattress to be a bit uncomfortable. Overall the hotel was pleasant and the owners are really nice. I would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in central London on the cheap.

So underrated. Loved this place so much and loved the price even more
3.5
Cheap and cheerful. Nice pleasant staff, clean and very central. Very basic. Outside noise at night due to thin windows, but ear plugs would solve that. Would go again.
3.5
Room was good enough for a quick stay. Room was clean and in good condition

Terrible experience. Spent 3 nights with my daughter, very tiny bedroom, beds were wobbling all right thus i couldnt sleep because of the noise they make. Reported this the next morning but didnt improve altgough i was told this was fixed. Bathroom is tiny, no shampoo. Even the floor is wobbling even one moves in the room next door.
I do beleive this hotel should be banned as it doesnt meet minimum atandards.

This is a basic, no frills hotel near Paddington Station and the Heathrow express. Cost effective for a night before or after a flight.
3.5
Very friendly owner. No refreshment replacements for my second day. Very dodgy plumbing. I doubt that it would pass fire and health and safety inspections. But by London standards, it was cheap, and adequate.
3.5
It is fine for a night ; bed out of a prison but actually quite comfy. TV tiny but worked ; just a place to rest a head.
No desk was a shame but blankets not a overwarm duvet

Friendly host. Tiny 3rd floor bedroom. Ok for short stay in central London.

Rooms were clean, Beds were very comfortable. Staff were very friendly & accomodating. Great value compared to other prices in the area.
We were 2 mins around the corner from a very vibrant street with nice bars and food options, 5 mins from Paddington station & 5 mins from Hyde park.
There is a wonderful Argentinian bistro close by that does fantastic coffees and breakfast!
Would definitely return!

Property has not been renovated or updated in a long time. Expect old, worn, stained furniture, floor coverings and linen. Bathroom is tiny. That said the proprietors are polite, helpful and trying their best. I felt welcome and safe. I would crash here again for one night and for the right price, not much more than 70€ a night. The area is very convenient to transportation. The Victoria, Paddington is a splendid pub nearby which I enjoyed patronizing.
3.5
The position close to Paddington Station, the kindness of the owner and the personnel.

Good choice for a night. Simple. Kind and helpful and friendly staff. Excellent location.

Very satiesfied with the stay. Good location, shops open 24/7 and lot of busses near. Hotel was clean. Maybe hard bed but for this price i cant except anything elese. We can absolutely book it again.

we booked a hotel room for 5 people but it was a bit cramped, the room was very basic and had a shower stall but that was also very cramped. only a few handsoaps, no shampoos. blankets were cold. had to request an extra pillow, but the staff were fine to provide one.
the hallways were cluttered, and on the basement lever where we were one staircase was wet and slippery, the other at the bottom corridor a vacuum cleaner was left out. there were also personal hygiene items left out in the corridor (deodorants etc.)
it was also very noisy at night with the people upstairs from us thumping around walking late into the night, and their voices carrying through the floors. we could hear their conversations well into the night.
on the other hand the staff were very kind.

For us three women needing somewhere cheap in the Paddington area this little place was perfect! Spotlessly clean and only a few minutes walk from Paddington Station. Its not the Ritz and neither is the pricing. Our room was compact with a small ensuite bathroom. Three single beds that were very comfortable and had beautifully crisp white sheets. The lovely owner was helpful and the building is secure. They were kind enough to allow us to drop our luggage off in the morning and they kept it safe.
The place could do with upgrading but then i guess it would be much more expensive.
Overall was very happy . We just needed somewhere safe, clean and comfortable and this is exactly what we got.
If you just need a bed and dont want to spend a fortune then give this place a look.

The proprietor, Dwight was wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. The location was fantastic. We felt safe. Rooms are basic but adequate.

Great service and good value for money.

very friendly and helpful host good location for hyde park and paddington station

We stayed here for one night my daughter and me. Close to Hyde Park which we chose it to see Billy Joel .The couple husband and wife i guess were very friendly and accomadating. We had a small twin which was a little cramped but fine for what we needed. Definitely stay again.
3.5
Excellent location for our short stay in London. Rooms are basic and clean. Very close to shops, eateries and Paddington station. Friendly couple who owns and runs the hotel.
3.5
Check in was easy and handy as manned 24 hours as we were arriving at different times. Short walk to hide park, bars restaurants and shops
3.5
Convenient location near Paddington to get from / to Heathrow airport. Multiple tube lines nearby.
Front desk people polite and professional.
The bedroom itself was small and basic but clean. Ex: no room for a small desk, one plug at the bottom of the bed, toilet at the edge of the basin, paint that has changed color over the years, 3rd floor [US] with no elevator, heard the TV from another guest on the floor.

I was here with my daughter in March for 8 days and the room was extremely cold the entire stay. They gave me an old tiny heater that I could keep in the room but it started to burn from the inside which triggered the fire alarm of the entire hotel and strangely no one reacted to this. The staff (the owner of the hotel an older man with his wife I assume) were fine. We had no problems with them whatsoever. However, housekeeping refused to clean our room one day because my daughter took a long time to leave the room (around 1pm) since she felt kind of sick, perhaps due to all the cold she had to endure for days. I was alright with that because after all, housekeeping can't work all day. The furniture was very old and the bed was extremely uncomfortable and creaked at every move I made just to give you an idea of in what type of condition they were. The water from the water boiler/kettle has a quite nasty taste. The internet was also extremely bad and I had to go to the entrance of the hotel which was a super tiny hallway that can barely fit two people in order to be closer to the router. I was in the second floor and if you're gonna stay in this hotel which is convenient due to the location (central to Paddington station) then be closer to the reception as much as possible. This won't only be better for wifi connection but perhaps a bit warmer as well especially during summertime. I don’t recommend this place to anyone if you want to stay here for more than 2 days really.

Easy d check in. Very friendly hosts

Basic but clean and convenient.

Great location. The owners were very polite and welcoming.
We had the room right at the top and were pleasantly surprised. The bed and pillows were comfortable. It was nice and quiet. The room was a little hot due to the hot weather but the fan helped with that.
The bathroom is small but there's a separate shower area so the floor didn't get wet and it was enough room for me and I'm 195cm.
You get what you pay for, and for this price in this location I'd definitely stay here again.
3.5
Close to the tube. Very safe and quiet
3.5
It was a comfy stay, host were very friendly and cooperative, just missing the breakfast option, even if it is going to cost reasonable price
3.5
Staff really friendly, but decor a bit tired. Could do with refurb to modernise a bit, but fine for a few nights.
I'd consider staying there again.
Location fine for tube and Paddington Station for connectivity to the rest of London.
3.5
Five minute walk to Paddington Train & Underground Station. Kensington Palace, Park and Gardens are 15 minutes walk, lots of shops and restaurants five minute walk. Nice and safe walkable area.
My room was small and needs updating/refurbishing, carpet needs replacement. No elevator, only stairs, no breakfast, kettle in room for tea and coffee, small TV.
