we have stayed here regularly but seems to be under new management-didnt expect breakfast to be an extra and room was clean but a bit dingy -headboard had a tear and paint work needed re doing in some areas-plus they did not have all the decorations they used to have which made the place standout-also after we checked in, on late night return to our room car park was full so had to park in residential road nearby-so will probably lookelsewhere now for our repeat visits to family

Could do with a bit of updating but price and location were good for us

Not much to say, literally needed a place to sleep for the night. The room was warm and comfortable. Tea, coffe and hot chocolate facilities in the room. No street noise. Close to grocery stores to get bits.
Only downside was the shower, it didn't have a high pressure. It was easy to get the perfect temperature though.

We stayed at this hotel because its convenient to seeing family, my daughter referred to it being like something out of a horror movie because its old and has loads of antiques on display. The rooms are clean, and i found the bed really comfortable, but the bathroom could do with a little bit extra care when cleaning and a toilet roll holder would be useful, and maybe not a clear window, although there was a blind to pull down. The parking was fine the first night but was unable to park the second night so had to park on the road outside the hotel. We definitely stay again and recommend it if your happy its not a modern hotel. Didnt have breakfast but smell coming from the dinning room was lovely maybe next time.

An absolute hole! Doors with no noise reduction and not worth the money. Be ashamed of yourselves. Unengaged staff, very noisy and so thin walls you can hear literally everything. Not a place worthy a visit at all! Sleep in your car instead 😡

This is a budget-friendly hotel, within easy reach of the town centre. My room was clean, warm and comfortable and it had everything I needed. I really appreciated having a car park space, too. I had a ground floor room but there was no need to worry about noise above me or next to me because although the hotel seemed to be quite full the other guests were respectful. Checking in and checking out was very quick and easy.

Overnight stay for one night. Room clean and tidy. Bed not so comfy but was for only a few hours. Good parking which is a bonus.

Hotel is extremely run down. Photos do not represent the current condition of the hotel. Looked ok on the website but not a true reflection. Radiator in room wasn’t working. Bath panel hanging off. Bed was very uncomfortable. We checked out and stayed elsewhere. Paid for three nights in advance, so no refund then had to pay for three nights at another hotel.

Potentially could be good, but in spite of checking at the time of booking that breakfast would be available and asking again when I checked in, NO breakfast was served an no one was around to ask.The grounds could be good but are not cared for.

For you pay i cant complain. A lovely old house caked in history and original features. With some money spent on it this could be real gem of a hotel. Just a little run down and would of been nice if breakfast was an option but all in all for the money paid it was totaly ok.

We always stay at Baron’s Court when in Wolverhampton for its value, charm and friendly service. Beds are comfy, bathrooms are clean and spacious, and the breakfast selections are amazing. On this trip, I noticed a sign claiming that the property is under renovation, and I hope that’s true because the hotel definitely needs a facelift. Our bathroom door wouldn’t easily close as the hinge was loose; our closet doors wouldn’t stay closed, and a wooden hanger broke in my hand when I attempted to hang a shirt. The lobby could use new carpeting and better lighting. Hopefully, next time we visit, these upgrades will have been completed.

Great place, smoking area should be placed away from the main entrance as cigarette smells greets you as you get to reception,

Lost some points as it does need a little amount of TLC . Overall comfortable, clean and serviced rooms .

Quirky old place but decent enough for a 1 night stay.
Bed comfy and clean room.
Ideally property could do with a lick of paint.
Didn't stay for breakfast as had an early start but smelt lovely as we checked out.

What’s not to like ? Easy check in , quirky place , free parking … mega bonus
The only thing that could be improved is the showers…

Basic but comfortable room, would benefit from a bit of a spruce up, but value for money.

Lovely old building with the creaky stairs that we love! Quirkiness was fab with lots of antiques throughout. Stayed for 2 nights in room 2, only slight issue was water pressure was very low. Didnt spoil our stay in any way.

We stayed at Barons Court while visiting Crufts over the weekend. The cheap price and relatively short drive away from the arena were the selling points for us. Barons court is such a quaint hotel based in a very old building which we thought just adds character. The chap on reception was polite and friendly and check in was easy, he then showed us to our room. Room 4 which was a lovely twin room which was small but big enough for us! With a huge bathroom, and a nice well working warm shower. The corridors around the hotel are decorated with some beautiful antiques which again just adds character to the place. Beds were comfortable however if i was being picky an extra pillow would have been nice, however we probably could have asked for this. The room was never cold either. There is no breakfast facilities but this isn’t advertised as a B&B and no breakfast wasn’t an issue for us. There is however a nice communal area with tables etc which you are encouraged to bring your own food and use these facilities. Our keycard didn’t work to let us back in on our second night but this was quickly rectified. The hotel and rooms are “tired” but with this being a old building, this is unavoidable, and refurbishing them too much would take away its character. If i was to be super picky the only improvement i would suggest would be for the receptionist to have a branded polo or similar? Apart from that is you want a warm, comfy stay for a very affordable price, this is the place to go!

Nice place to stay, however i lost my favourite mug, somebody steel it, i left the little note on the reception desk regarding my lost mug... Not heard anything from them, just becareful.....

Pleasant staff, clean linen and towels hotel very dated. Curtains hanging off the runners and plaster hanging from the ceiling. It did us for a one night stay but should of paid more and got a more modern hotel .
2.0
Very disappointing, the young man who opened the reception door in a hoodie with the hood up, took us to a dimly lit desk in an alcove - reception. The floors were dirty with paint shavings. He did say work was being done? dust sheets and hoovers were not evident. Generally dingy. Bathroom door did not close, paint fingerprints on bathroom door, towels were discoloured and frayed, radiator in bathroom is loose. There was no member of staff to discuss our concerns with. A once beautiful building in need of good management.
