Which room you pick makes a difference here with some of the rooms having no windows.
To boot the internal rooms oddly have non-opening windows out onto the hallway.
Mine had a privacy peel on it - on the corridor side!!! This was peeling off at the corners.
On the plus side it did have usb (A) sockets by the bed, which weren't broken likely as they are below the bedside shelf and so out of sight.
Not that bad but as per cheaper hotels like Travelodge and Ibis no room turn-down etc unless requested I suppose.
Not much in the way of facility on site.
Attached eatery don't take orders at the table or run an order to pay at the end.
The upstairs terrace is inaccessible so smoking only out the front in rhe rain.
Cheaper than most places mind.
Only really handy for the park

I had to wait until the receptionist returned from a shopping trip. She made sevral points before being told that I had been upgraded at no extra cost ang giving me the keycard.
The room had a double bed which occupied nearly the . whole room. To access the shower one had to close the door. To fill the kettle one had to use a cup as the kettle would not fit under the tap. I wonder what my original room would have been like

Faqir Lashari , it was great place to stay

This was a great room for 3, all linen was really clean and brilliant white, it was nice to have a fridge, but didn’t use it and shower gel was provided.
The only downside is that it spelt of weed in the corridor which was not very nice.

Perfect location, lovely hotel, only problem i would say is the mattress was not comfortable a little springy.

The pro: Convenient walking distance to the national space center with friendly staff with clean rooms.
Cons: sadly let down by being worn down with multiple damaged items in the room and in the room that I stayed in missing blackout curtains that were very much needed as the LED street light made it like trying to sleep with the light on. This along with the noise from the main road made getting a good nights sleep difficult.

Great overnight stay ! Clean, convenient and friendly staff - can’t ask for more !

Remote wouldn’t work for the TV and shower room space was smal

Good location for the space centre- 15 min walk. Linen was nice, bed was comfortable, generous tea and coffee. Significant wear and tear, mirror brokem, doors chipped. Needs some TLC. Also stained wall that could be cleaned in 10 moms.

Very clean rooms , it was warm for the cold days during our stay and it was value for money for what you get!

Lovely stay! Good size rooms, clean, and have all the amenities needed. Some small things though - stains on walls in rooms, and entrance/reception area could do with a re-vamp. Overall great value!!
2.5
Really nice friendly place with everything you need

Cold water in the shower ( tap water with hot water, but almost cold in the shower), mattress hard. No blinds to help to cut the lights in the morning.

The hotel location is at the side of a very busy road... We had a front facing room so your head is about 4 feet from the vehicles! It is noisy and we didn't sleep well. The room was very tired, very small and the bathroom was tiny. The bed is very small and doubt it is a proper double size. The reception isn't manned all the time so difficult to report any issues. The room was not serviced at all during our three night stay. They say any port in a storm but it would have to be an apocalyptic one to get us through the door again!

Too much small Riom for 1 person
Toilet & bathroom tiny condition ( too much small- not satisfied

The hotel is well-located for the city centre and Abbie Park and appears to be in relatively good, modern condition. Check in was slow and required a £100 deposit (I was surprised as this isn't usually a requirement and especially not in such a budget establishment). The management appears to be a big fan of paper notices, warnings and instructions - there are instructions littering the whole hotel and it's far too much to read! All the instructions on the walls tend to make the hotel feel quite bossy and intimidating which I'm sure wasn't its intention as the staff were quite friendly. The room was small but comfy with an interior window, fan and double bed with white bedding. The shower room was tiny - but clean and well maintained. Overall a generally positive experience with a few little tweaks needed to make it feel more welcoming.

We had a ground floor room we couldn’t open the window because the security lock had been cut so we couldn’t leave the window open at night and the room was hot . The side shelves on the bed were too close to the bed as I turned over as I was asleep I cracked my head and it cut it making me bleed the staff when they were there were helpful but rarely available, it was clean and tidy but the rooms look nothing like the photos shown and I paid for an upgrade from an economy room but if that was an upside hate to of seen the economy room

A message for North American travellers, this is not a hotel, a motel at best. I'm told that this is typical of places at this price point, but the bed had no support nor any padding for comfort. Opening windows lets in mosquiots. Shower only has extremely hot water. mini refrigerator does not get cold. brining your bag up the narrow, winding stairs is a challenge.

Very basic, no food or drink facilities, reception not inviting.
2.5
Straightforward easy to stay hotel, no frills but clean and warm, good hot shower, comfy bed, friendly and helpful staff. We had no complaints, have stayed before and would stay again.

The rooms were a disgrace, fittings hanging from walls exposing wording, no hot water available, walls and bed stained, we left and booked into Hilton and lost our money. Nothing like the photo’s

Hotel dated and worn.
Clean enough, but things missing/not working/broken.

I stayed in a economy room which was great very comfy and better than some hotels best rooms.Just no window to the outside .But a window to a corridor .But because modern light was good

The receptionist is absolutely amazing and friendly. Room is exceptionally clean. Could have been better if there was a hair dryer :) The tap water tastes a bit rusty. Bring your own bottled water.

Perfect value for money, great breakfast!

The room was clean and comfortably decorated, and had all the expected facilities. Everything in the room worked fine.
But it was rather too hot, by virtue of it being an internal room with no window (which I knew when I booked). My stay was in January, so I guess the room would be stiflingly hot in summer.
The location is not good. It's on a busy main road on the edge of a retail park, so there are no local shops, pubs or community. It's a bit too far from the city centre to be convenient, and it's not a nice walk to and from town, especially at night.
