We had a fabulous stay at this well equipped and spacious accommodation in an idyllic peaceful setting. The hosts were friendly and there were lovely touches like a large homemade cake and bottle of fizz to welcome us.
Would highly recommend.

We are 2 families with 5 children between 9 and 19 years old and we stayed for 1 week in summer 2024. We had a great time staying at this home. The home is very well equipped. All kitchen utensils, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, tv's, bathrooms you may need are there. Enough furniture and space for all to have a pleasant time together. The seperate game room was especially appreciated by both children and adults. We played air hockey, table tennis and table football, as well as some of the board games found in the game room. If we had any questions, the owner Nanette was quick to reply and always very friendly. The farm is ecologically friendly, uses no insecticides and produces edible flowers. We were allowed to have a look there, which I really enjoyed. I took picturesd with my SLR with macrolense, which was great. From the home we did dayrtrips trips to Dartmoore to walk, to the "Jurassic Coast" and to Exeter. The other days we stayed at the home. I cannot remember ever staying at a holiday home that was so welcoming, well equiped and had such a great atmosphere. I will recommend your home to everyone. We hope to come again some day. Kind regards, Pauline.

This was our second time at the hayloft, we had previously stayed in 2022, whilst I cannot fault the current host Nannette,s communications with me before and upon arrival, & I would like to add the thoughtful touch of an arrival homemade cake, with milk and Prosecco in the fridge, this was the only highlight of our trip!
me and my family had noticed a serious decline in the cleanliness and condition of the property since our last stay.
The cobwebs and dust are thick, abundant, and are everywhere! The apex roof is plastered in these webs covering the windows light fittings, they are visible in all lights. other areas including curtains, that have inches of dust, grime and are filthy!all of The windows ( and there are a lot) are dirty inside and out, our bedroom (red room) window had external beading hanging off, and the walls were crumbling which is a cause of damp.
The kitchen- kick boards are filthy, as are the cupboards doors, the sink had black grime underneath the worktop( revolting!!!) and the tap is loose, the cooker hood is thick of dust and grease! Completely unacceptable!!!
The furniture - is shabby, looks tired ( as it did when we last stayed) and needs replacing.
Garden- the patio had weeds, and the grass needed cutting. The outside lighting at night is very poor. Given the property is on a flower farm i would have thought the presence of flowers within the

Great property as one of our group is in a wheelchair and he was able to be totally independent both inside and out as no thresholds. I fact he said it was the best disabled bathroom ever. Huge cooker, lots of pans and dishes. As a group of friends we had to improvise the seating so we could all sit together downstairs but this was due to the makeup of the group.

We loved the house and especially the lay out and the playroom.
Thank you so much for the welcome cake too 😊

Our stay was flawless, conveniently located in the heart of the countryside.
The facilities were great and the listing doesn’t do it justice, all of us who stayed had nothing but positive things to say about the accommodation which was thoughtfully decorated throughout.
It was a shame the weather wasn’t on our side the whole time so we could make use of the great outdoor space however we were so lucky with the inside space that it didn’t affect the weekend. Would happily recommend to friends and family. Thank you for having us :)

We had a most enjoyable stay at the Hayloft over the Christmas holiday. It started with the a warm welcome and Nanette had put up a Christmas tree for us and brought us round some freshly baked mince pies! The accommodation is well appointed, very clean and comfortable. The bedrooms are all of a good size and nicely decorated and with all the bedrooms having en-suite bathrooms, it made the property well suited to hosting large groups. The main living space is large and well designed for entertaining and socialising. Great kitchen too which is also central to the living space. The underfloor heating worked well although it took a full day to get the house up to a comfortable temperature. The games room is a good size and is a great space for family entertainment. All in all it’s difficult to make any criticism of the property. It’s a lovely place to stay and the owners who live next door were very welcoming and responsive to any issues we raised with them during our stay. It’s located in a very pretty part of the Devon countryside within easy reach of Cullompton for shops and other amenities. There are no walks that can easily be made directly from the property but there are some nice trails within a few minutes drive. Also no pubs within easy walking distance but we found some great places nearby especially the Blacksmiths Arms in Plymtree. Would definitely stay here again and can highly recommend it.

I honestly cannot express how beautiful this place is, we recently stayed for 2 nights and I wish we stayed for longer. We bought my people reactive 1 year old pup with us and the garden was so secure for him, we felt safe letting him run around. He also found an apple to eat and loved it. The bonus was we didn’t realise there was a games room, my family especially the kids that came along spent most of their time in there whilst the adults chilled in the main room. The bedrooms were perfect all with en-suites which made it even better.
Nanette is a fantastic host, her communication from when we booked it until we got there was brilliant. She answered 100 questions of mine without getting annoyed and even made us a special cake.
I honestly cannot recommend this place enough, we are even looking to book again for next year.

Lovely stay and a nice warm welcome with prosecco and a homemade cake (thank you!)
Great accommodation and bedrooms/kitchen well equipped - we all had a great time!
Love the 6 bedrooms all have en-suites so no-one compromised!
A couple of cleanliness bits with a few minor issues of dirty dishes and a toilet but didn’t effect our stay at all.
Really lovely stay and we all enjoyed it! 😀 thank you for having us! :)

This property is perfect for a family get together . Really easy to access and find, great hosts, set in a quiet lane but with easy access to anywhere. All bedrooms have their own bathrooms and are all good sizes, clean and very comfortable beds. Whole property is very well equipped and the games room is an added bonus . Enclosed safe garden was loved by the dogs . Loved it and will be back again

We enjoyed our holiday, although our autistic 5year old worried about the poor TV reception and the inevitable summer farmyard flies. Very happy with the sustainability ethos of the property.

A hidden gem within a few minutes drive of the M5. Very quiet location with a beautiful garden and views. It was the perfect place for a family get together to celebrate a 70th birthday.

The Host was really helpful and stayed in touch with the up and coming booking.
On arrival was greeted with a lovely home made cake which was a lovely touch.
The barn is stunning, perfect for couples who all want a big comfortable bed and enjoy suit. My family were very impressed that no one had to compromise on bedrooms they are all stunning.
It’s fully equipped with everything you would need, beautiful outdoor space and great games room. We will definitely come back!! Thank you for having us.

We’ve just had a lovely week at the hayloft. There was 3 families in our group, plenty of space for all. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Hand wash, washing up liquid, washing machine detergent, dishwasher tablets, towels and even bathrobes were provided. The games room was brilliant for the kids and the big kids. Lovely quiet location and we were greeted with a beautiful cake with edible flowers on arrival. Just a shame the price to hire has almost doubled for next year

What a fabulous holiday! This property is a real gem for a large group. Generous sized bedrooms all with ensuites, comfortable mattresses and fluffy pillows. Large communal living area, and a well equipped kitchen with big pots and pans to cater for big meals. Fully enclosed private garden, overlooking the flower fields with large outdoor seating and a nice big BBQ! Not forgetting the games room - where ping pong masters were made.
The hosts Nanette and Liz were fantastic, from the moment I booked the holiday, to check out. I received extensive information from Nannette about what to do in the area and she swiftly sorted room setup within days of booking. Liz welcomed us in and made sure we had everything we needed.
Exmoor beach, the local farm shop, pub: the keepers cottage, wildwood are all worth a visit. We also travelled a little way out to Bigbury-on-sea and Burgh Island - highly recommended!
Thank you Liz and Nanette for making us feel so welcome! And good luck with the flower fields. X

Family holiday ages 79 down to 4 plus 2 dogs. What a fabulous holiday home and lovely hosts. Left us a delicious home made cake which my family enjoyed. Fabulous garden which was very secure for children and dogs. Comfortable beds and good showers. We loved the log fire after we all got soaked at the Devonshire Show. Only negative was that we would have liked more sofas as there was 11 of us. Would definetly holiday there again.

A group of friends stayed, but arrived at different times. The first to arrive was greeted, but when we, the booker, turned up and phoned to say we had arrived, I was told they would come around later. Unfortunately we did not meet the owner! When we rang for help with a problem, they did not reply to my phone message. The only time we saw the owner was when we were leaving. Otherwise the barn was all we expected and was very comfortable.

Booked this beautiful property for my husband & his twin brother as a surprise family get together for their 60th Birthday. Nanette the host was very helpful & friendly. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. A bottle of bubbly in the fridge & a gorgeous homemade cake was waiting for us on arrival. All six bedrooms were beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds & quality duvets, pillows & bed linen. We enjoyed family dinners & played games at the large dining table. Every little detail of this property is perfect. Thank you Nanette, hopefully we can stay again soon.

We loved our stay! The place was just so beautiful and each room having an en suite was just so easy and helpful. My family were welcomed really well and we were even gifted with a homemade cake with beautiful edible flowers, this was such a kind and appreciated gesture. The place is big enough for 12 people and there was plenty of space for family game nights. We particularly enjoyed playing cricket in the outdoor space! The views are so nice and peaceful and it is lovely to wake up to this each morning. We wish that we could have stayed longer! We will definitely be booking in again soon. Special shout out to Nanette who was very responsive and helpful!
