About this house rental
Gorgeous 5-bedroom Grade 2 Listed house in iconic High Street above our Gallery 53. It's brimming with character and filled with the artists’ original work. Formerly a successful four-star B & B, Gallery 53 is now available to rent in its entirety
Nestled amongst independent shops, restaurants, pubs; 4-minute walk to beach and near East Hill for coastal walks
It's on the parade route for Old Town events e.g “Jack in the Green”, Bonfire Night, Carnival week - all passing right under the windows
The space
Stylishly decorated, the house is a three-storey bay-fronted property - perfect for families with children and larger groups. The house has four bedrooms, three bathrooms (two of which are en-suite) - large kitchen/dining room and lounge area.
The 1st floor:
Large kitchen/dining room: Seating for 10 and a highchair. Fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, Tassimo coffee machine with pods supplied, cooking utensils and plenty of crockery for all cooking and dining needs. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Lounge: A charming bohemian lounge with two sofas, chaise longue and working fireplace. Boasts a working (and tuned!) piano along with TV, DVDs, boardgames and hundreds of books for hours of entertainment.
Large family bathroom with roll top bath and shower cubicle.
Second floor
Master Family Bedroom 1: Beautiful front-facing room with bay window. Has a double bed and sofa bed for two young children and space for a travel cot. This bedroom also has a single sofa bed for one child.
Double bedroom 2: At the back is a lovely double bedroom with wash basin and an en-suite bathroom.
The 3rd floor:
Double bedroom 3: A large bedroom at the front of the house with a king-size bed, wash basin and single sofa bed for one child. There is also space for a travel cot.
Double Bedroom 4: At the back is a bedroom with a double bed and views of the East Hill.
Double Bedroom 5: The final remaining bedroom has a double bed and views of the East Hill.
Bathroom: This floor has a bathroom with a roll-top bath and separate shower cubicle.
Additional sleeping arrangements:
We have two single sofa beds, one double sofa bed for two small children or one older child and two travel cots, details in room descriptions as mentioned above.
We recommend a maximum of 10 adults with extra space for the following:
- 3-4 additional children – 2 x under 10’s (or one older child) in sofa bed and 2 children on single sofa beds, up to 2 babies/toddlers in travel cots.
All rooms have sumptuous bedding and towels provided. We can supply bedding for the sofa beds if needed. We do not supply cot bedding.
Pets: Up to 2 house-trained well-behaved dogs are allowed.
Parking: Being on the High Street of the Old Town, we don’t have private parking. There are nearby long stay car parks and free residential parking within walking distance. We can help give further advice as needed.
